1st (5) (7.5/1 -7%) Rush Queen |
7.5/1(-7%) | (5) Rush Queen 7.5/1, Once-raced filly. Ninth of 17 in maiden (16/1) at the Curragh (6f, good to soft) on debut 9 days ago, not knocked about. Ran well for long way on Curragh debut last weekend; all the better for that experience. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (1) (1.62/1 -17%) Ashwiyaa |
1.62/1(-17%) | (1) Ashwiyaa 1.62/1, Promising sort. Third of 15 in maiden (4/1) at Cork (5f, good) on debut 18 days ago. Up in trip. Obvious claims. Cork debut third should appreciate this longer trip and likely major player. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (7) (11/1 -29%) Zona Verde |
11/1(-29%) | (7) Zona Verde 11/1, Twice-raced filly. Seventh of 13 in maiden (6/5) at Cork (5f, soft) 30 days ago, unsuited by drop in trip. Up in trip. Remains capable of better. Disappointing favourite at Cork; quicker ground here could suit so don't rule out. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (2) (3.33/1 +5%) Blue Poppy |
3.33/1(+5%) | (2) Blue Poppy 3.33/1, Foaled April 15. Blue Point filly. Dam, 6f/7f winner, sister to very smart winner up to 8.5f Sovereign Debt. Stable in good form. Interesting newcomer. Nicely-bred daughter of Blue Point for whom market may prove best guide on debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (4) (100/1 +0%) Lough Lannagh |
100/1(+0%) | (4) Lough Lannagh 100/1, Once-raced filly. 66/1, eleventh of 13 in maiden at Roscommon (7.4f, good to soft) on debut 13 days ago. Never sighted after slow start on Roscommon debut; probably best watched for now. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (6) (2.75/1 +39%) Zelestial |
2.75/1(+39%) | (6) Zelestial 2.75/1, Once-raced filly. 13/2, fifth of 12 in maiden at Navan (5.8f, soft) on debut 22 days ago. Open to progress. Promising Navan debut run and good chance she will improve for this better ground. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (3) (14/1 -17%) Lia Fail |
14/1(-17%) | (3) Lia Fail 14/1, Twice-raced filly. 14/1, fifth of 13 in maiden at Roscommon (7.4f, good to soft) 13 days ago, worst of draw. Drop in trip could suit but needs to improve on what she's shown so far to play major role. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
ZELESTIAL, who has a Group 2 entry, ran well behind the subsequent Marble Hill winner on debut. The runner-up in that race had form prior to it, and improvement now looks likely for Joseph O'Brien's filly, who is out of a Listed-placed mare. Blue Poppy is similarly entered for that Curragh stakes race, and is by a top sprinter and first-season sire. Her winning dam is a sibling to two Group winners, including 15-time winner Sovereign Debt. Ashwiyaa, out of a half-sister to a Group 1 winner, ran well on debut, with the winner subsequently placing, and should benefit from the run. Zona Verde was second to a smart winner on debut and while a beaten favourite at Cork last month, should be better suited by today's faster surface.
There was a lot to like about ASHWIYAA's opening third at Cork last month and she's the one to beat with improvement on the cards. Newcomer Blue Poppy is a likely type on paper and it would be no surprise were she to provide the main threat, particularly if the betting vibes are strong. Joseph O'Brien's Zelestial is another who could go well.
The Cork run of ASHWIYAA was franked by the winner at Tipperary during the week and she looks the one to beat

1st (8) (1.62/1 +35%) Sweetest Rose |
1.62/1(+35%) | (8) Sweetest Rose 1.62/1, Fairly useful filly. 5/1 and blinkered for 1st time, creditable third of 16 in maiden at Naas (8f, good to firm) 14 days ago. Down in trip. Likely to be bang there. Consistent front-runner tries 6f for the first time; sure to make a bold bid. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (6) (8/1 -45%) Nelda |
8/1(-45%) | (6) Nelda 8/1, €230,000 Dark Angel filly. Sister to very smart 1m winner Persuasive and half-sister to several winners, including very smart winner up to 7f Creative Force. Stable in good form. Interesting newcomer. Greatly respected on belated debut here from a yard in top form. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (7) (2.5/1 +25%) Sibyl Charm |
2.5/1(+25%) | (7) Sibyl Charm 2.5/1, Thrice-raced filly. 8/1, third of 13 in maiden at the Curragh (6f, good to soft) 9 days ago. Leading claims. Recent Curragh third could still have more to offer; contender. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (5) (3.5/1 +22%) Freedom Falls |
3.5/1(+22%) | (5) Freedom Falls 3.5/1, Fairly useful form on turf at 2. Prominent showing likely if ready to roll on reappearance. Major chance on best 2yo form but that was on soft. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (1) (125/1 -213%) Akeela |
125/1(-213%) | (1) Akeela 125/1, Once-raced filly. 100/1, fifth of 8 in minor event at Dundalk (5f) on debut, unable to sustain effort. Off 177 days. Up in trip. Mild debut promise at Dundalk over the winter but probably best watched on turf debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (2) (50/1 -25%) Es Vedra |
50/1(-25%) | (2) Es Vedra 50/1, Once-raced filly. Ninth of 12 in maiden (9/1) at Gowran (7f, soft) on debut 25 days ago. Visored for 1st time. Green when never counting on debut; visor now fitted but watching brief advised for now. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (4) (50/1 -100%) Final Check |
50/1(-100%) | (4) Final Check 50/1, Twice-raced filly. 40/1, sixth of 9 in maiden at Cork (6f, good) 18 days ago, having to pick way through. Mildly encouraging Cork run latest but good bit more likely required here. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (3) (7.5/1 -67%) Ferrari Desert |
7.5/1(-67%) | (3) Ferrari Desert 7.5/1, Fair filly. Third of 18 in maiden (25/1) at Navan (5f, soft) on IRE debut 22 days ago, best work finish. Back up in trip. Open to progress. Strong-finishing Navan third on debut; will relish extra furlong here; definite player. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
FERRARI DESERT showed promise for her well-travelled trainer on debut. Out of a winning dam whose half-sister won at Listed level, she finished ahead of a subsequent winner on debut and could be better suited by today's sounder surface and extra furlong. Sibyl Charm is suited by this distance and surface but while race-fit, might struggle to win if the selection progresses. Nelda has an excellent pedigree, being a sister to Group 1 winner Persuasive and a half-sister to another top-level winner in Creative Force. Six of her winning siblings were capable but she debuts at a tight country track and has no big-race entries. Sweetest Rose has been running well but drops in distance and again wears blinkers. The reappearing Freedom Falls finished second at this distance as a juvenile, but that was on testing ground and she might prefer further. Es Vedra was well held on debut and runs in a first-time visor.
SIBYL CHARM stepped up on her reappearance when third at the Curragh recently and might be able to make it fourth time lucky. Sweetest Rose reacted well to blinkers last time and is feared most ahead of the reappearing Freedom Falls. Jessica Harrington newcomer Nelda would also come into it if the betting suggests she's fancied.
Several closely matched here but the drop in trip could just be what SWEETEST ROSE needs and she can get off the mark

1st (3) (12/1 -20%) Not Just Yet |
12/1(-20%) | (3) Not Just Yet 12/1, Lightly-raced maiden. 7/1, seventh of 8 in handicap at Naas (5.9f, heavy) 41 days ago. Yard having good spell. Something to find on form. Best form on heavy so has it to prove in these conditions; trip to suit. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (6) (2.75/1 +45%) The Snapper |
2.75/1(+45%) | (6) The Snapper 2.75/1, Winner at Cork in April. 8/1, creditable fourth of 16 in handicap at Cork (7f, good) 18 days ago. Expected to be bang there. Pretty exposed at this stage and others likely more progressive. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (7) (5.5/1 +21%) Portreath |
5.5/1(+21%) | (7) Portreath 5.5/1, Thrice-raced maiden. Ninth of 15 in maiden at Gowran (7f, good to soft, 18/1) 32 days ago. Stable in good form. Cheekpieces on 1st time. Makes handicap debut. Must find best form. Unexposed entering handicap company with cheekpieces tried and quicker ground. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (2) (8/1 -100%) Anann |
8/1(-100%) | (2) Anann 8/1, Winner at Dundalk in January. 5/1, fourth of 7 in handicap at Dundalk (7f). Off 109 days. Makes turf debut. Dundalk winner back from a break for turf debut and 10lb claim a positive. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (1) (3.5/1 -17%) Rumbled Again |
3.5/1(-17%) | (1) Rumbled Again 3.5/1, Career best when winning 16-runner handicap at Gowran (7f, good to soft, 8/1) 12 days ago by length from Rathbranchurch, always holding on. Progressing well recently and should take the beating. Gowran win looked good; 9lb rise may not prevent a big run here. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (5) (18/1 -50%) Emorcee |
18/1(-50%) | (5) Emorcee 18/1, Thrice-raced maiden. 12/1, eighth of 9 in maiden at Cork (6f, good) 18 days ago. Makes handicap debut. Return to this trip to suit but others preferred on handicap debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (4) (2.75/1 +0%) Rathbranchurch |
2.75/1(+0%) | (4) Rathbranchurch 2.75/1, Lightly-raced maiden. Good length second of 16 to Rumbled Again in handicap at Gowran (7f, good to soft, 5/1) 12 days ago. One to consider. Clear second to Rumbled Again at Gowran; 4lb better of with that rival so every chance. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
RATHBRANCHURCH was beaten a length by Rumbled Again last month, but is now 7lb better off and remains a little unexposed. A half-brother to five winners, including one placed at Group level, he has run well in two handicaps thus far and is suited by this trip and good ground. Rumbled Again has obvious claims, but is more exposed and competes from a career-high mark. The Snapper also finished a length behind Rumbled Again, at Gowran in May, and while 9lb better off and ground-versatile, is reasonably exposed. Not Just Yet, in turn, finished ahead of The Snapper last August, but was well held on his reappearance and reverts to good ground. Anann hasn't run since February and debuts on turf, while Portreath makes his handicap debut in cheekpieces.
RUMBLED AGAIN was alwasy doing enough when scoring at Gowran recently and he's firmly on the up, so he's preferred to The Snapper, with Rathbranchurch also on the shortlist.
A rematch of a recent Gowran handicap with RUMBLED AGAIN (nap) taken to confim form with Rathbranchurch on 4lb worse terms

1st (15) (6.5/1 -30%) All In Peder |
6.5/1(-30%) | (15) All In Peder 6.5/1, 14/1 and cheekpieces on for 1st time, career best when winning 15-runner handicap at Gowran (13.7f, good to soft) 12 days ago. Raised 9 lb but still much respected. Gowran winner 9lb higher now so needs to improve again but possible on this ground. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (11) (4.5/1 +18%) Zileo |
4.5/1(+18%) | (11) Zileo 4.5/1, Fourteen runs since last win in 2021. Very good second of 21 in handicap at Leopardstown (12f, good, 12/1) 16 days ago. Significantly back up in trip. Has to be taken seriously. Leopardstown run an encouraging one; not yet proven over this far but respected. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (8) (7/1 +13%) Global Export |
7/1(+13%) | (8) Global Export 7/1, 18/1, unseated rider in handicap hurdle at Gowran (20.1f, heavy) 106 days ago. Off 106 days. Significantly back up in trip. Fair on the Flat, creditable on last Flat run. Best form on softer ground and recent form very mixed; opposable. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (6) (4/1 +50%) Queen Of Seduction |
4/1(+50%) | (6) Queen Of Seduction 4/1, 1 win from 2 runs this year. Career best when winning 9-runner maiden (4/1) at Roscommon (11.7f, good) 3 days ago. Carries penalty. Significantly up in trip. Yard having good spell. Much improved for Roscommon win on Thursday; good chance of staying this longer trip. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (2) (28/1 -56%) The Jam Man |
28/1(-56%) | (2) The Jam Man 28/1, 22/1, first run since leaving Ronan McNally when respectable sixth of 12 in handicap at Killarney (16.8f, good to soft) 19 days ago, needing stiffer test. Bit to find with Away To Sea on recent Killarney run, his first run for Philip Rothwell. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (5) (7.5/1 +53%) Effernock Fizz |
7.5/1(+53%) | (5) Effernock Fizz 7.5/1, Sixteen runs since last win in 2021. Last of 4 in minor event chase at Limerick (19.7f, good to soft, 7/4) 10 days ago. Significantly up in trip. Fair on the Flat, bit below form on last Flat outing. Admirable mare but a front-runner who remains vulnerable at this extended trip. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (1) (4.5/1 +36%) Away To Sea |
4.5/1(+36%) | (1) Away To Sea 4.5/1, 6/1 and cheekpieces on for 1st time, creditable third of 12 in handicap at Killarney (16.8f, good to soft) 19 days ago. Maiden on a career-high after recent Killarney third; has to be on the shortlist. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (4) (14/1 -40%) Cafe Con Leche |
14/1(-40%) | (4) Cafe Con Leche 14/1, Creditable fifth of 15 in handicap (6/1) at Roscommon (12f, good to soft) 13 days ago. Significantly up in trip. Not taken lightly. Unproven over this far and wants it softer. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (9) (14/1 +58%) Liberated Light |
14/1(+58%) | (9) Liberated Light 14/1, First run since leaving Richard Fahey when ninth of 14 in handicap (40/1) at Dundalk (12f). Off 165 days. Significantly up in trip. First run for yard after leaving John E. Kiely. Initial promise in Britain didn't materialise; hard to fancy. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (10) (125/1 -89%) Surviving Murmansk |
125/1(-89%) | (10) Surviving Murmansk 125/1, Remains a maiden after 17 Flat runs. Creditable 12½ lengths eighth of 15 to All In Peder in handicap at Gowran (13.7f, good to soft, 80/1) 12 days ago, not ideally placed. Didn't convince stamina-wise at Gowran and remains opposable over this even longer trip. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (13) (40/1 +20%) Custers Mistake |
40/1(+20%) | (13) Custers Mistake 40/1, 50/1, sixth of 14 in handicap hurdle at Tipperary (16f, good) 17 days ago. Significantly up in trip. Good on last Flat run. Maiden after 28 starts under rules; first Flat outing in two years and very hard to fancy. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
13th (7) (33/1 -32%) Puntastic |
33/1(-32%) | (7) Puntastic 33/1, Sixteenth of 19 in handicap (20/1) at Navan (13f, heavy) 43 days ago. Up in trip. Poor comeback run on the Flat at Navan doesn't inspire confidence. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
14th (12) (14/1 -100%) Mephisto |
14/1(-100%) | (12) Mephisto 14/1, Thrived on Dundalk's AW this year, winning twice around 2m. A turf win earlier in career provides hope that he can continue the good work back on the grass. In fine form on AW last winter but 7lb higher turf mark here however so more needed. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
ALL IN PEDER seemed to appreciate returning to a sound surface when winning recently. Runner-up in a useful Aintree hurdle last June, he won from a rating of just 47 in a competitive handicap at Gowran and should stay this extra distance. Queen Of Seduction did much of her racing on easy ground prior to winning on good at Roscommon on Thursday. She run under a 7lb penalty but steps up markedly in distance and also makes a quick reappearance. Cafe Con Leche is a 12-race Flat maiden but stayed on nicely at Roscommon and notably steps up to this Flat distance for the first time. Mephisto likes this distance and while he lacks a recent run, today's rider claims 7lb. Away To Sea is a 15-race maiden but ran well at Killarney (The Jam Man was sixth), while Global Export stays well and should compete. Effernock Fizz was well held on recent Flat runs, while Zileo's rating has fallen 22lb in a year and he ran well at Leopardstown recently. Liberated Light is a year-younger brother to A Dream To Share and tries this distance for the first time.
A competitive staying event. ZILEO took a big step back in the right direction when second in a big field at Leopardstown recently and is worth a chance to build on that as he's well treated on old form. Mephisto did very well on AW earlier in the year and is much respected back from a short break. All In Peder and Cafe Con Leche are others to consider.
Thursday's Roscommon winner QUEEN OF SEDUCTION could have still more to offer over this longer trip

1.88/1(-50%) | (4) Narmar 1.88/1, Promising sort who found further improvement when second of 11 in maiden at Killarney (8.1f, good to soft) 19 days ago. Looks the one to beat. Just denied over this trip after going clear at Killarney; major claims. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (3) (4/1 +11%) Livio Milo |
4/1(+11%) | (3) Livio Milo 4/1, Cheekpieces on for 1st time, respectable fourth of 15 in maiden (9/2) at Gowran (7f, good to soft) 32 days ago, nearest finish. Stable having good spell. Visor on 1st time. Not out of things. Staying-on Gowran fourth should appreciate this trip; visor replaces cheekpieces. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (6) (1.62/1 +54%) Sea Gardens |
1.62/1(+54%) | (6) Sea Gardens 1.62/1, Twice-raced colt. Back from 6 months off when sixth of 15 in maiden (5/4) at Cork (8f, good to soft) 44 days ago, hampered. Should improve and not taken lightly. Slightly disappointing seasonal return; big chance on 2yo form though. |

4th (1) (14/1 +0%) Autoline |
14/1(+0%) | (1) Autoline 14/1, Once-raced colt. Fourth of 10 in maiden (16/1) at Dundalk (7f) on debut 54 days ago. Stable in good form. Open to improvement. Some debut promise at Dundalk but may need more experience. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (2) (9/1 -50%) Highland Rahy |
9/1(-50%) | (2) Highland Rahy 9/1, Thrice-raced colt. Much improved when third of 14 in maiden at Gowran (8f, good to soft) 12 days ago. Claims if building on that. Took a nice step forward at Gowran recently, should relish these conditions.. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
NARMAR has form and seems progressive. From a top Aga Khan staying family, he ran well behind subsequent Irish 2,000 Guineas sixth Quar Shamar in April and a reproduction of his good Killarney run would give him every chance. Sea Gardens ran with promise on juvenile debut but his reappearance run at Cork was disappointing, with his rider reporting he became unbalanced in the final furlong. He returns from a 44-day mini-break but is on a retrieval mission. Livio Milo is race-fit but needs to improve in a first-time visor, while Ninth Life has a similar profile and might struggle to win. Highland Rahy outran his odds at Gowran but faces a tough enough task, while Autoline was well held on debut.
NARMAR sets the form standard on his second at Killarney last month and could have more to offer yet. He can open his account. Sea Gardens is also a potential improver and is feared most.
An open-looking maiden. NARMAR nearly nicked a similar race at Killarney last month when a clear second and narrowly gets the vote

4.5/1(+31%) | (9) Swiss Army Officer 4.5/1, Dropped long way in the weights and snapped lengthy losing run in 15-runner handicap at Roscommon (7.4f, good to soft, 9/1) 13 days ago. Dangerous if backing that up. Won 15-runner handicap at Roscommon by ½l, staying on strongly; raised 5lb; strong claims. |

10th (10) (12/1 -20%) Blue Wood |
12/1(-20%) | (10) Blue Wood 12/1, Winner at Dundalk in April. 10/1, shaped better than result when eighth of 15 in handicap at Roscommon (7.4f, good to soft) 13 days ago, not clear run. Needs treating as though still in form. Finished eighth at Roscommon, suffering interference; chance based on win before that. |

11th (1) (11/1 -10%) Asisaid |
11/1(-10%) | (1) Asisaid 11/1, Winner at Leopardstown in April. Creditable sixth of 20 in handicap at Leopardstown (8f, good, 33/1) 16 days ago. Got back on track when sixth last time out, running on well; needs to back that up here. |

13th (7) (33/1 +18%) Leclerc |
33/1(+18%) | (7) Leclerc 33/1, Fourteenth of 15 in handicap (28/1) at Roscommon (7.4f, good to soft) 13 days ago. Stable in good form and dangerous if reviving in re-fitted headgear. Been out of form since he landed two handicaps on the AW in the winter; others preferred. |

14th (12) (12/1 -41%) Manhattan Dandy |
12/1(-41%) | (12) Manhattan Dandy 12/1, Remains a maiden after 41 Flat runs. 9/1, good third of 15 in handicap at Roscommon (7.4f, good to soft) 13 days ago. 41-race maiden; good effort when third at Roscommon; big chance if building on that. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
BLUE WOOD may be worth a shot here. The Requinto gelding had very little luck in running at Roscommon last time when hampered a few times. He eventually finished eighth behind Blue Peak, but would have been much closer with a clear run. He was a narrow winner at Dundalk on his previous start and looks capable of landing a race on turf off his current mark. Manhattan Dandy ran well to finish third in that Roscommon race and is on the same terms now having been rated below the basement mark of 47 last time. What Adaay was a consistent sort at a low level last year and could get involved on her return to action.
DUTCH GLORY showed enough in a better handicap than this at Cork 18 days ago to think she's back in good form so she could be the answer to what is a tricky puzzle. Swiss Army Officer snapped a losing sequence a fortnight ago and he retains handicap scope, with Manhattan Dandy another to consider.
A chance can be taken on MANHATTAN DANDY. He is a 41-race maiden but put in an encouraging effort when third at Roscommon

8.5/1(+47%) | (9) Pollanassa 8.5/1, 14/1, thirteenth of 16 in handicap at Gowran (8f, good to soft) 32 days ago, slowly away. Not shown enough to suggest he is ready to strike in three handicaps so far this season. |

14th (3) (18/1 +45%) Trueba |
18/1(+45%) | (3) Trueba 18/1, Twelve runs since last win in 2021. 40/1, twenty second of 25 in handicap at Cork (7f, good) 18 days ago. Down to handy mark but hasn't shown enough on last three outings; needs to recapture form. |

15th (12) (11/1 +8%) Miss Cunning |
11/1(+8%) | (12) Miss Cunning 11/1, C&D winner. 1 win from 2 runs this year. Latest win at Cork in April. 8/1, last of 15 in handicap at Killarney (8.1f, good to soft) 19 days ago. Needs to cast that effort aside. Won over C&D 12 months ago off a 1lb lower mark; poor when last seen, needs to bounce back. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
HURRICANE HELEN may be able to make an immediate impact for Shark Hanlon. The Gutaifan filly has fallen to a workable mark and is a fairly consistent sort. She didn't get much luck in running in a Gowran claimer last time and was dropped a couple of pounds after that. Atbay ran well when chasing home Blue Peak at Roscommon last time and is still relatively unexposed. He could be a big player again having remained on the same mark. Skontonovski has run well on his last couple of outings and is another for the shortlist.
ATBAY isn't yet exposed after 6 starts and he looks well worth another go at 1m, so he could be the answer. Skontonovski and Simply Sideways are a couple of potential threats.
The draw is a concern but SOYOUNIQUE should appreciate this better ground and offers some each-way value

11th (7) (250/1 -25%) Patrick Joseph |
250/1(-25%) | (7) Patrick Joseph 250/1, Modest gelding. Remains a maiden after 29 Flat runs. Last of 5 in maiden at Killarney (14.1f, good, 66/1). Off 10 months. Hasn't shown any form to suggest he can make an impact here. |

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
These races are perfect for a horse like TAIPAN, who has a lofty enough rating, and he looks like the one to beat. The Frankel gelding ran out a cosy winner of another conditions event over 1m6f at Killarney last time and this looks like an ideal opportunity to get another win under his belt. The 92-rated Female Soldier would appear to be the main danger on paper. She was fifth behind the selection last time and has a nice turnaround at the weights now. As well as getting a 10lb pull this time, Adam Ryan takes a further 7lb off her back. Ace Aussie could be given a chance off his rating of 87, but hasn't been in great form over jumps in recent starts and has a bit to prove.
This should develop into a match between FEMALE SOLDIER and Taipan, with the former marginally preferred in receipt of 10 lb back over a more suitable trip.
This looks another good opportunity for TAIPAN after he landed a similar event at Killarney last month.
Ths is the racecard key.

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.
There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.
The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.
Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.
In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.
Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
