The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
Girl From Italy was denied in her hat-trick bid by Finn Russell when the pair met at Wolverhampton last time and it would be no surprise if the latter were able to confirm the form. Storymaker has been knocking on the door recently and is capable of a decent showing, but the vote goes to DAVID'S DIVA. Rod Millman's filly makes her handicap debut following a couple of promising efforts and she appears open to the most amount of improvement in the contest.
STORYMAKER has been knocking on the door of late, only just failing here 10 days ago, and gets the vote over Finn Russell and Girl From Italy, who were first and second at Wolverhampton 10 days ago.
Finn Russell and Girl From Italy are respected but tackle a new surface so perhaps DAVID'S DIVA can win on her handicap debut.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
BIG ZOU is expected to have learnt plenty from his racecourse bow when finishing fourth at Chelmsford last month and Tom Clover's gelding makes plenty of appeal in what appears to be a winnable race on paper. Battle Of Omdurman stays further than a mile and may be ridden positively to take full advantage, while others to note include Rich Harry and newcomer See That Storm.
BIG ZOU produced a promising first effort when fourth at Chelmsford and makes the most appeal in a weak maiden. See That Storm is a newcomer to note, while Rich Harry should be on the premises again.
Having made a promising debut at Chelmsford, BIG ZOU holds the strongest claims. Newcomer See That Storm is second choice.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
DASHING DARCEY could be forgiven his debut effort when pulled up early on at Wolverhampton and the son of Muhaarar has since run with credit to fill the runner-up spot at Newcastle. With the likelihood of improvement to come, Roger Varian's colt gets the vote to go one better. Belcamo has to be respected after finishing third on his first start at Kempton, with Toromoro appealing most of the remainder.
BELCAMO would have gone into many notebooks having thundered home from an unpromising position on his debut at Kempton last month, so he's fancied to build on that and make his second start a winning one. Dashing Darcey lost out only to one who got first run at Newcastle 3 weeks ago and he's a major threat with further improvement on the cards, with Mr Influence pick of the newcomers before market clues.
Having caught the eye at Kempton, BELCAMO looks the one to side with. Dashing Darcey is second choice.

Makes polytrack debut and should in the thick of the action with a repeat. Third off this mark on last month's nursery debut at Newcastle, and that form looks solid. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Relentless Warrior |
(2) (5/4 +69%)5/4(+69%) | (2) Relentless Warrior 5/4, 150/1, faced a stiff task when well held in Super Sprint at Newbury (5.2f, good) when last seen. Off 136 days/gelded. Makes handicap debut. This far more suitable. Not seen since outclassed at Newbury in July; market may guide on nursery/AW debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Sea Of Angels |
(6) (11/1 +8%)11/1(+8%) | (6) Sea Of Angels 11/1, Lightly-raced maiden who was too free again when eighth of 11 in nursery at Southwell (6.1f) 11 days ago. Never dangerous over 6f on nursery debut and needs to learn to settle better. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Rogue Rosie |
(1) (15/2 -114%)15/2(-114%) | (1) Rogue Rosie 15/2, Fair maiden who wasn't seen to best effect when fourth of 9 in nursery at Wolverhampton (5.1f) 42 days ago, unsuited by way race developed. Makes polytrack debut. Merits consideration. Consistent filly who has dropped 2lb since finishing fourth at Wolverhampton last time. |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Flemish |
(10) (25/1 -150%)25/1(-150%) | (10) Flemish 25/1, Creditable 3 lengths third of 10 to Torvar in nursery at Wolverhampton (5.1f, 25/1) 14 days ago. Kept on for third at Wolverhampton last month but is 0-8 now; more is needed. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Talking Rubbish |
(7) (25/1 -108%)25/1(-108%) | (7) Talking Rubbish 25/1, Lightly-raced maiden. 10/1, respectable fifth of 12 in nursery at Chelmsford City (5f) 26 days ago, never nearer. Respectable fifth in Chelmsford nursery last month but others appeal more here. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
A competitive heat sees a chance taken on ROGUE ROSIE, who looks to be on a very tempting mark having been dropped a further 2lb in the ratings for her defeat over 5f at Wolverhampton last time. Tom Clover's charge was slowly into stride on that occasion so she could have finished closer. The Liegeman made a pleasing start to his handicap career when beaten a length over 5f at Newcastle last month and he looks primed to offer a bold bid off the same mark, while Via Blanca is also noted.
VIA BLANCA posted a much-improved effort tackling her first handicap when second at Chelmsford last month and could be the way to go with hope for better still. Rogue Rosie is likely to be on the premises once more, while the gelded Relentless Warrior could take a step forward now handicapping at a low level.
Archie Watson's THE LIEGEMAN made a pretty good start to his handicap career when placed behind two in-form rivals last month.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
Light Speed arrives here seeking a hat-trick on his handicap bow for the powerful combination of Andrew Balding and Oisin Murphy, but this opening mark of 80 leaves little room for error. Therefore, the nod goes to ROMILDA, who was only beaten a little over a length over the extended 1m1f at Wolverhampton despite being denied a clear run towards the latter stages. The consistent Tiger Beetle should also be on the scene, while Enough Already is also worthy of consideration.
LIGHT SPEED had a bit in hand when defying a penalty at Wolverhampton and can complete the hat-trick on his handicap bow. Romilda caught the eye at Wolverhampton 3 weeks ago and is next best ahead of Tiger Beetle and Enough Already.
Handicap debutant LIGHT SPEED could well show further progress and defy top weight. Romilda is feared most.

Stopnsearch |
(3) (9/1 -13%)9/1(-13%) | (3) Stopnsearch 9/1, Course winner. Twenty two runs since last win in 2021. 66/1, last of 8 in novice hurdle at Lingfield (16f, good to soft) 14 days ago. Cheekpieces back on. Not disgraced over C&D on most recent Flat start; well treated on plenty of form. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Mr Trick |
(6) (12/1 -33%)12/1(-33%) | (6) Mr Trick 12/1, Blinkered for 1st time, sixth of 9 in handicap (5/1) at Chelmsford City (8f) 31 days ago. Up in trip. Cheekpieces back on. Some of his 1m form suggests this new trip is worth exploring. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Villalobos |
(4) (15/2 -25%)15/2(-25%) | (4) Villalobos 15/2, C&D winner. Sixth of 9 in handicap (12/1) at this course (8f, AW) 17 days ago. Back up in trip. Has good chance on pick of form. Won over C&D in March; interesting back in this scenario with Oisin Murphy booked. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Iftikhaar |
(11) (18/1 -13%)18/1(-13%) | (11) Iftikhaar 18/1, Creditable seventh of 13 in handicap (16/1) at Chelmsford City (10f) 19 days ago, not clear run. Maiden; went very close over C&D two starts ago; fighting chance on that form. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Cathaya |
(7) (33/1 -136%)33/1(-136%) | (7) Cathaya 33/1, Thrice-raced maiden. Sixth of 11 in novice (250/1) at Wolverhampton (8.6f) 22 days ago. Makes handicap debut. Must improve. May be capable of improvement now handicapping over new trip. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Forever Proud |
(10) (80/1 -60%)80/1(-60%) | (10) Forever Proud 80/1, 125/1, eighth of 10 in handicap at this course (8f, AW) 17 days ago, slowly away. Back up in trip. 3yo maiden whose form has dipped markedly for new stable. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
STAR OF ST LOUIS has been a model of consistency of late and he looks primed to offer another bold bid. Matt Crawley's charge was beaten just a length over the extended 1m1f at Wolverhampton last month and, off the same mark, he could be difficult to peg back. Having won over 1m2f at Chelmsford last time, Crazy Maisie rates as the biggest danger ahead of Star Of Epsom.
STAR OF ST LOUIS couldn't land the hat-trick from a career-high mark at Wolverhampton last time but ran as well as ever to finish second and remains of interest. Crazy Maisie and Star of Epsom head the dangers,
Course specialist STAR OF EPSOM is taken to follow up last year's success in this race. The Conqueror is second choice.

Sharp Distinction |
(1) (4/1 +20%)4/1(+20%) | (1) Sharp Distinction 4/1, Course winner. 10/3, good second of 6 in handicap at Chelmsford (1¾m) 28 days ago, no match for winner. Cheekpieces back on. Can give a good account. Won comfortably in October, after a wind op, and ran very well in defeat last month. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Fair Dinkum |
(11) (5/1 +0%)5/1(+0%) | (11) Fair Dinkum 5/1, Won 12-runner C&D handicap 17 days ago by 1¾ lengths from Kalamity Kitty. Unexposed at 2m and a 3 lb rise is unlikely to prevent another prominent showing. Too good for Kalamity Kitty over C&D last month; up in grade today but 3lb rise manageable. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Artisan Dancer |
(8) (5/2 +44%)5/2(+44%) | (8) Artisan Dancer 5/2, Third leg of a quick hat-trick at the end of the summer came over C&D. Creditable length second of 11 to Sea Me Dance in handicap (3/1) at Wolverhampton (1¾m) 18 days ago, conceding first run. Major player. Won comfortably over C&D in September and returns here after three good Tapeta runs. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Sea Me Dance |
(7) (5/1 -11%)5/1(-11%) | (7) Sea Me Dance 5/1, Career best when winning 11-runner handicap at Wolverhampton (1¾m) 18 days ago by length from Artisan Dancer, getting first run on her reopposing rival. Should remain very competitive after a 3 lb rise. Scored off 3lb lower at Wolverhampton (1m6f) last month; moves up in trip again here. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
C'mon Kenny |
(3) (8/1 -23%)8/1(-23%) | (3) C'mon Kenny 8/1, Latest win at Kempton (2m) in October. Caught too far back when ninth of 14 back there since. Treated as if still in form. Kempton winner in October but didn't fire last time; probably needs a career best here. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Kalamity Kitty |
(10) (9/2 +10%)9/2(+10%) | (10) Kalamity Kitty 9/2, Good 1¾ lengths second of 12 to Fair Dinkum over C&D 17 days ago. Oisin Murphy takes the ride. Another to consider. Would probably have preferred a stronger pace to aim at when second over C&D last month. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Mukha Magic |
(5) (11/1 +21%)11/1(+21%) | (5) Mukha Magic 11/1, C&D winner. 28/1, eighth of 10 in handicap at Newcastle (2m) 18 days ago. Down to a mark in the 60s for the first time in a while but not obviously in good enough form to capitalise. Very well suited by 2m on Polytrack but has looked out of sorts in recent months. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Spritzin' |
(9) (16/1 +20%)16/1(+20%) | (9) Spritzin' 16/1, Fair maiden. 9/1, seventh of 9 in handicap at Newcastle (2m) 46 days ago. Others boast stronger claims. On a good mark but was well beaten after racing too freely last time and is now 0-9. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Ace Rothstein |
(2) (22/1 -10%)22/1(-10%) | (2) Ace Rothstein 22/1, Thirteen runs since last win in 2022. Below par on Flat at Goodwood in October and well held over hurdles at Kempton since. Bounce back needed. Ran well in a series final in September but is too inconsistent to trust. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Smith |
(6) (66/1 -371%)66/1(-371%) | (6) Smith 66/1, Six-time C&D winner, the latest in February. Below par on turf when last seen at the beginning of the summer but may do better back on AW. Six-time C&D winner but absent since spring and resumes on fairly tough mark. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Grandee |
(4) (100/1 -400%)100/1(-400%) | (4) Grandee 100/1, Eighteen runs since last win in 2019. 25/1, creditable third of 8 in handicap at Southwell (16.5f) in March. Not seen since so peak fitness has to be taken on trust. Placed off 1lb higher in March but not seen again since; younger rivals appeal more. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
SEA ME DANCE returned to winning ways over 1m6f at Wolverhampton last month and this step up in trip could help her to defy a 3lb rise in the ratings. Artisan Dancer chased home the selection on that occasion and is likely to be in the mix once again, while Fair Dinkum and Kalamity Kitty are the pick of the remainder.
ARTISAN DANCER conceded first run to Sea Me Dance when second to her at Wolverhampton last month and is taken to turn the tables on 2 lb better terms. Recent C&D scorer Fair Dinkum could have more to offer at 2m and is another to consider in a competitive race.
Topweight SHARP DISTINCTION has got his career back on track since a wind operation in September and gets the nod.

Mumayaz |
(1) (2/1 +56%)2/1(+56%) | (1) Mumayaz 2/1, Sixteen runs since last win in 2021. Creditable second of 11 in handicap (5/2) at Wolverhampton (6f) 17 days ago. Can make presence felt. Has seconditis at present and is a frustrating sort (beaten favourite in last four runs). |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Sixties Chic |
(6) (4/1 -14%)4/1(-14%) | (6) Sixties Chic 4/1, Winner at Wolverhampton in November. Good second of 12 in handicap (17/2) at this course (7f) 10 days ago, racing closer to pace than ideal. Has to be taken seriously. Suited by the switch to AW last month, winning at Wolverhampton then close second here. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Nordic Glory |
(12) (5/1 +0%)5/1(+0%) | (12) Nordic Glory 5/1, Five-time course winner, the latest over this trip in October. 11/2, good second of 11 over C&D 17 days ago. Has to enter the reckoning. Produced form figures of 1212 in October/November, mostly at this track; solid claims. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Maharajas Express |
(5) (7/1 -56%)7/1(-56%) | (5) Maharajas Express 7/1, Bit below form sixth of 11 in handicap at Kempton (7f) 78 days ago. First run for yard after leaving Richard Spencer. Cheekpieces back on. Interesting to see how he goes in the betting on first outing for Jack Jones. Combination of drop in grade and return to 6f may spark a revival; new yard. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
A Pint Of Bear |
(2) (10/1 -25%)10/1(-25%) | (2) A Pint Of Bear 10/1, Eleven runs since last win in 2021. Creditable third of 12 in handicap at Wolverhampton (6f, 20/1) 12 days ago, racing closer to pace than ideal. Draw could have been kinder. Placed in three of his five starts since returned to AW, including over C&D; possibilities. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Awesome Spirit |
(8) (10/1 -11%)10/1(-11%) | (8) Awesome Spirit 10/1, Respectable sixth of 12 in handicap at Kempton (6f, 28/1) 20 days ago. Still early days with this good yard. Ex-Irish maiden; not an immediate hit for shrewd new connections but may do better yet. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Northcliff |
(4) (13/2 +35%)13/2(+35%) | (4) Northcliff 13/2, Remains a maiden after 21 Flat runs. First run since leaving Tim Easterby when creditable third of 12 in handicap at Kempton (6f) 20 days ago. Likely to continue in form. Still a maiden but ran encouragingly at Kempton last month on AW/stable debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Fianian |
(3) (33/1 -230%)33/1(-230%) | (3) Fianian 33/1, Thrice-raced maiden. 9/2, fifth of 11 in novice at Chelmsford (7f) 19 days ago. Drops in trip for handicap debut with a tongue tie added. Gives the impression this drop in trip will suit on handicap debut; open to progress. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Mellys Flyer |
(7) (40/1 +20%)40/1(+20%) | (7) Mellys Flyer 40/1, Eighth of 11 in handicap at Chelmsford (6f, 50/1) 19 days ago. Holds weak claims on his form for new stable this autumn. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Kanohi Breeze |
(10) (150/1 -971%)150/1(-971%) | (10) Kanohi Breeze 150/1, Modest form. Sixth of 8 in novice at Wolverhampton (5f) 13 days ago. Blinkers and tongue strap on first time. Makes handicap debut. Improvement needed. Six-race maiden; may improve with headgear fitted on belated handicap debut. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
SIXTIES CHIC was only beaten a head over 7f here 10 days ago and that followed a success over this trip at Wolverhampton. With that in mind, the unexposed three-year-old merits the utmost respect down in distance at this level. Mumayaz has been knocking hard on the door of late and cannot be discounted, while Fianian should not be underestimated on his handicap debut.
SIXTIES CHIC took another step forward when narrowly denied over 7f here 10 days ago and can make it 2-3 in handicaps now. Nordic Glory, Mumayaz and Northcliff are others to consider, while Maharajas Express is one to note in the betting on his first outing for Jack Jones.
Judged on recent form, NORDIC GLORY (nap) holds particularly strong claims. Mumayaz may have to settle for second place once again.
Ths is the racecard key.

Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.
In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses.
