40/1(-60%) | (2) Invincible Speed 40/1, Out of form since won a Wolverhampton handicap (5f) off 78 narrowly in July 2024; mark has only dropped 3lb since despite numerous poor efforts; plenty to prove Takes a drop in class here but has not yet fired for his current yard. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (7) ![]() Charlie Mason |
11/4(+31%) | (7) Charlie Mason 11/4, Scored by a length off 65 at Wolverhampton three starts back and bang to that form both starts since, latter second beaten 2 1/2l off 68; can contend again On a tough mark but he's a consistent gelding who should run well again. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (6) ![]() Tyger Bay |
11/2(+8%) | (6) Tyger Bay 11/2, Beaten about 2l off 71 over C&D three starts back, but well below that both starts since, latest beaten 4 1/2l in a handicap at Southwell; mark has dropped and chance if finds best form Stall 1 might not be ideal for one who does have a tendency to miss the break. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (3) ![]() Get Jiggy With It |
12/1(+0%) | (3) Get Jiggy With It 12/1, Beaten a neck in a Thirsk handicap (7f) off a 74 back in September, but form tailed off after and tongue-tied when below par again reappearance; wellbeing to prove Made a quiet debut for her new yard, albeit in a Class 4 (first-time tongue-tie). |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (5) ![]() Northcliff |
12/1(-50%) | (5) Northcliff 12/1, In good form and didn't get the clearest run when not far off current level beaten 2 1/4l off 70 at Wolverhampton (6f); should run race again, jockey a slight worry, but has a chance In decent form as he found some trouble when fourth last time at Wolverhampton. |

6th (9) ![]() One More Dream |
10/3(+63%) | (9) One More Dream 10/3, In good form and ran to usual level when 2l third off 67 at Southwell (6f) on Friday; highly likely to reproduce that, but mark remains unchanged and may find one or two better handicapped again Responded well to the new blinkers when beaten 2l at Southwell four days ago. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (1) ![]() Twilight Madness |
7/1(+50%) | (1) Twilight Madness 7/1, Narrowly out-battled late when beaten a neck off 79 at Chelmsford (5f) on penultimate start after a run of good efforts back in 2024; hasn't run since very poor effort after that and retained ability to prove Potentially dangerous off this mark but has been out for a year. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (4) ![]() Brunel Charm |
7/1(-56%) | (4) Brunel Charm 7/1, Had been in good form before appeared to take a leap forwards last time landing a handicap cosily by 5 1/2l off 64 at Chelmsford last time; mathematically 9lb is a very generous increase for that, but anybody's guess if form can be trusted Up 9lb for exploiting a soft lead last time but Jack Dace's claim takes care of 7lb. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (8) ![]() Profit And Loss |
14/1(-250%) | (8) Profit And Loss 14/1, Raced wide and came from well back when winning a handicap by 1/2l off 65 here last time; probably capable of a few pounds better than that and trainer in form Defied a wide trip to beat four rivals here a month ago; only 3lb higher. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
Back to winning ways with an impressive display at Chelmsford last time out, course winner BRUNEL CHARM looks like the one to beat off a 9lb higher mark. The eight-year-old gets the vote ahead of Charlie Mason, who has been placed on both outings since scoring off 3lb lower at Wolverhampton in January. Get Jiggy With It and Profit And Loss are capable of being in the shake-up as well.
A few with chances but preference is for PROFIT AND LOSS who was nicely on top at the finish here last time.

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (10) ![]() Sixteen One |
11/2(+31%) | (10) Sixteen One 11/2, Most exposed in the field, ran to form 3 1/2l third in a novice over 7f here most recently; cheekpieces first time; up in trip; off a short-break; probably needs to improve 0-5 but has form claims in a race of this nature and she's raised in distance. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (9) ![]() Princess Mia |
9/2(+36%) | (9) Princess Mia 9/2, Had benefited for debut experience 3 1/4l third in a maiden here second start after fair effort in fifth on debut; off a short-break, but should contend Ran a bit better to be third over C&D three months ago; needs more but that is feasible. |

9/2(-13%) | (7) Phyllis Burton 9/2, Postponed filly; half-sister to Path To Dubai, very useful at 12f; dam useful at 14f; trainer in excellent form; may just need time and further; watch market Half-sister to a bumper winner and 1m/1m4f AW winner Path To Dubai. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (11) ![]() Three On Thursday |
33/1(-32%) | (11) Three On Thursday 33/1, Beaten 8l in a novice over 6f at Kempton on debut; returning from quite a long layoff, up in trip and needs to improve No real threat in a 6f AW novice last July but the run wasn't without promise. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (3) ![]() Eleonora Gonzaga |
22/1(+67%) | (3) Eleonora Gonzaga 22/1, Off the bridle and green throughout on debut when showed minor promise on debut and probably needed race down the field in a novice at Chelmsford on reappearance; plenty to prove Has no obvious form claims after defeats over 6f on turf and 1m on the AW. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (6) ![]() Lady Aiyana |
11/1(-10%) | (6) Lady Aiyana 11/1, Time Test filly; half-sister to Carntop, smart from 11f to 12f; dam very useful at 9f; probably need the experience and a bit further Related to winners under both codes and needs checking in the market. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (1) ![]() Bigfield Dreams |
66/1(-100%) | (1) Bigfield Dreams 66/1, Much improved from debut and made plenty of use of beaten 4 1/4l in a maiden at Southwell last time; should show some further improvement, but that did look a moderate race Down the field in both her races (1m) and handicaps will be more like it. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
PRINCESS MIA showed improvement from first to second start when third over C&D last time out and, with the promise of more to come, she may be able to get off the mark in a winnable contest. Mandana has strong claims if bouncing back to the form of her penultimate second at Chelmsford, while Phyllis Burton is a newcomer to monitor for market support as she makes her debut for an in-form yard.
This isn't a strong maiden and MANDANA could be the solution if replicating the best of her form from last year.

4/1(-14%) | (4) Disclosure 4/1, Below par made too much use of beaten 4l in a handicap over 9f at Wolverhampton last time; this first time on Polytrack; should handle drop in trip, but needs a return to form to threaten Maiden (0-11); easing in the weights on first start for James Owen; needs a market check.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (2) ![]() Daisy Roots |
6/4(+79%) | (2) Daisy Roots 6/4, Very consistent last summer scoring at Salisbury and Windsor, latter by a neck off a 59; making reappearance here and despite fair mark, may just need the run Won twice over this trip (Salisbury and Windsor) last summer; every chance on stable debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (1) ![]() Zariela |
4/1(+38%) | (1) Zariela 4/1, Consistent last summer, probably best judged on a 1 3/4l defeat off a 69 at Newmarket (8f) in August; back from a break here and may just need the run, but fairly weighted Sole win came when making all in modest C&D maiden last September; seasonal reappearance.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (5) ![]() Help Me Rhonda |
7/2(-27%) | (5) Help Me Rhonda 7/2, Nearly brought down when launching challenge penultimate start and given a confidence booster out the back last time; well handicapped and lack of crowding in small field will help; very much the one to beat Kempton winner (1m) last October; hasn't had things go her way since; highest on shortlist. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (3) ![]() Willow's Kiss |
14/1(-56%) | (3) Willow's Kiss 14/1, Minor promise in maidens, but touch disappointing beaten 7l in a handicap over 7f at Chelmsford off an opening mark of 60 last time; up in trip and will need to improve on that Fifth on handicap debut at Chelmsford (7f, 50-1); stamina is untested beyond 7f.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (6) ![]() Guns And Flowers |
50/1(-400%) | (6) Guns And Flowers 50/1, Probably needed race beaten 5l in a handicap over 7f at Kempton last time; fractionally better than that judged on balance of 2024 efforts, but not really proven at a mile Sole win came as a juvenile at Chelmsford (6f) in June 2023; low-key for this trainer.. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
An eye-catcher when not getting a clear run in the final furlong on her penultimate outing at Kempton in January, HELP ME RHONDA must hold every chance off a 1lb lower mark if getting the breaks this time around. Now in the hands of trainer James Owen after going without a win in 11 starts for previous connections, Disclosure may be handicapped to have a big say, while Zariela will appreciate a return to this venue, having scored over C&D in September.
4yo HELP ME RHONDA has a fitness edge over Daisy Roots and remains on a workable mark with valid excuses since scoring at Kempton.

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (3) ![]() Upepo |
7/2(+13%) | (3) Upepo 7/2, In fine form and game when scored by 1 1/2l off 66 over 12f at Wolverhampton penultimate start; backed that up latest; goes well here; should contend Acquitted himself well at Wolverhampton (1m4f; from career-high mark) last week; respected. |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (1) ![]() Haaland |
3/1(+14%) | (1) Haaland 3/1, Wide trip and far from knocked about beaten 5l in a handicap over 2m here last time; will handle drop in trip; off a short-break, but quite nicely treated at the weights Wasn't on song when beaten favourite here (2m) latest; given a short break since; chance.. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
WANNABE BRAVE is already a dual course scorer and has a good chance of adding to his win tally here. The six-year-old returned from a break with a short-head second over 1m6f at Wolverhampton last week and the quick turnaround off the same rating looks a logical move. Dance Time has been reliable on the all-weather over the last few months and rates a serious contender on his first run at this venue. C&D winner Upepo is more familiar with these surroundings and is another strong contender.
Preference is for WANNABE BRAVE (nap) who posted a career best at Wolverhampton and can boast a fine overall AW strike-rate (5-20).

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (3) ![]() Yielding To None |
40/1(-150%) | (3) Yielding To None 40/1, Below par fourth beaten 11l in a novice over 7f here latest; up in trip; bit to find to defy this mark Patiently ridden when third here two runs back; different tactics adopted last time. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
PACIFIST impressed when making all to break her maiden with ease over 1m at Newcastle in January and, freshened up by a short break, the daughter of Australia is an appealing handicap debutant for a yard that is starting to go through the gears for the campaign ahead. An opening mark of 75 looks fair and she is very much the one to beat. Moonlit Stage improved after being gelded last August and merits consideration as he returns on a feasible rating. War Hawk is another to keep an eye on.
All seven are respected. WAR HAWK was an eyecatcher on his handicap debut and he looks a winner waiting to happen off this mark.

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (9) ![]() Enpassant |
16/1(-146%) | (9) Enpassant 16/1, Scored by a neck off 65 over 7f at Kempton three starts back; seventh beaten 7 1/2l off 67 last time ending good run; up in trip; squeak Running well until last time at Kempton where he was keen off the pace and never counted. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
FUTURE CUTLET won a Down Royal maiden on his penultimate start before running with credit on his handicap bow when fourth at Dundalk in November. The four-year-old doesn't appear to have reached his ceiling in terms of ability and gets the vote in what looks a competitive event on paper. The Bitter Moose is likely to enter the reckoning along with Urban Sprawl and Port Road.
The prospect of a soft lead could offer URBAN SPRAWL a golden opportunity to make the breakthrough finally on the AW.

7th (3) ![]() Mick's Spirit |
9/1(-13%) | (3) Mick's Spirit 9/1, Game when scored by a short-head off 62 here three starts back; fifth beaten 8l off 64 last time Course specialist; below par of late and not the only runner who likes to force the pace. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
MIDNIGHTATTHEOASIS completed a hat-trick within a fortnight over C&D on Friday and may prove difficult to stop in his current vein of form. The drop to 5f has seemingly made a big difference and is likely to come out on top once again, despite a 10lb penalty. The Defiant is capable of being in the mix, while Mick's Spirit and Recon Mission head the remainder.
Most of these are capable when it suits but consistency can be an issue. That's not the case with MIDNIGHTATTHEOASIS.
Ths is the racecard key.
