12:12 Lingfield Stakes (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

AUTUMN ANGEL has thrived of late and backed up a recent handicap success over 6f at Wolverhampton with a successful return to that track and trip in a classified stakes on Tuesday. Turning her out quickly at the same level is a logical move and the Tony Carroll-trained mare is hard to oppose, despite having an additional furlong to tackle. Charlatan also looks worth a try back at 7f in this company, while a bold showing from Dourado is not ruled out.

CHARLATAN is the only one to know at these weights and can bag a second course success at the main expense of recent Wolverhampton scorer Autumn Angel. C&D winner Ajrad can't be ruled out either, with Tea Leaf Ted completing the shortlist.

A few of these have the form to feature but need to find a spark from somewhere. Not so AUTUMN ANGEL who is in cracking form.

12:42 Lingfield Stakes (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

After class 6 handicap successes Chelmsford in November and Wolverhampton on Boxing Day, MATCH ANTHEM is a strong contender with his bid to complete a hat-trick. The runner-up from his latest start has franked the form by going in since and, with Luke Morris retaining the ride, the case for support has solid foundations in this modest classified stakes. Neptune Legend and Porfin have hinted at revivals of late and also warrant betting checks.

MATCH ANTHEM is fancied to complete the hat-trick on these terms. Star of Atlantis is the obvious threat having won a similar event at Southwell last week, with Seas of Elzaam best of the others.

They might have dropped on the right trip with STAR OF ATLANTIS who finished strongly from off the pace to collect at Southwell.

13:12 Lingfield Stakes (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

GROOVY BABY may been frustrating to follow but he is at least consistent and connections could hardly have found a better opportunity for him to get off the mark. Having recently swapped hands for just 28,000gns, Al Waqidi, who was 2-2 for Godolphin/Charlie Appleby, has it all to prove to match the billing of a 90-rated contender returning for a new yard at the age of seven. Therefore, Archie Watson's new recruit Next Trick, who showed ability in Ireland, is feared most from a reduced mark with cheekpieces added.

A race that revolves around how much ability Al Waqidi retains after a long time off the track. It could pay to side with a race-fit and in-form rival in the shape of GROOVY BABY, who travels strongly and should enjoy the drop back to 7f. This isn't the deepest of contests and Next Trick should at least hit the frame starting out for Archie Watson.

Consistent GROOVY BABY is first choice, ahead of ex-Irish Next Trick. Heed the market signals with regard to Al Waqidi.

13:42 Lingfield Handicap (Class 5) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

RECON MISSION arrives on the back of several creditable efforts in defeat and a reproduction of his latest third at Wolverhampton may prove good enough. Tony Carroll's veteran races off an unchanged mark and his biggest threat may emerge from Gogo Yubari. The double C&D winner hit the frame here nine days ago and she should give another good account. Harb was a length behind in fourth that day and he may fare best of the remainder.

A couple of potential front runners here, which will suit MUMAYAZ. In-form pair Gogo Yubari and Recon Mission are obvious threats.

Preference for RECON MISSION is narrow but he should give a good account of himself from the front. Gogo Yubari is feared most.

14:12 Lingfield Stakes (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

KAPPARIS KID justified strong support in the market when landing a similar event at Southwell last week. The four-year-old scored with enough in hand to suggest that he can follow up in a race of this nature and a quickfire could be on the horizon. First-time blinkers appeared to perk up Don't Fight It judged on her third-placed effort at Kempton in October and she may serve the most resistance to the selection, ahead of Apple A Dey.

KAPPARIS KID did little wrong when landing a gamble in a similar event at Southwell last week and is worth siding with again in the hope he's in the same mood. Suanni and Fai Fai are a couple of others to note.

The most compelling claims belong to KAPPARIS KID who can follow up a recent Southwell win. Don't Fight It is feared most.

14:42 Lingfield Handicap (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

A step up in distance and 82-day break saw MARINAKIS opening his account in classified company at Chelmsford on Thursday. Although a 5lb penalty will make life more difficult for Ian Williams' gelding reverting to handicap company, he looks to have more to come over a mile. C&D winner Raqraaq returned to form with a solid third here three weeks ago and he also enters the reckoning, alongside fellow in-form rival Kitaro Kich.

MARINAKIS took his form up a level when getting off the mark at Chelmsford on Thursday and Ian Williams' low-mileage sort is fancied to quickly add to that under a penalty. Serious Look should prove suited by dropping back in trip here and rates the chief threat, although Kitaro Kich, Raqraaq and I Can't Believe can all have a say too in this competitive handicap.

Being still unexposed over 1m, MARINAKIS (nap) could well complete a quickfire double. Kitaro Kich is second choice.

15:12 Lingfield Handicap (Class 5) 13f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Similar to his stable, KHANGAI has been in excellent form of late and a slight rise in distance, as well as a 3lb rise, should not inconvenience the five-year-old as he looks to land a fifth career success. Of the two Tony Carroll-trained inmates, Upepo gets narrow preference over Tortured Soul, having produced a determined display to score over 1m4f here last month. In search of a four-timer on the drop in trip, Alfheim is capable of being in the shake-up as well.

TORTURED SOUL had an excellent time of it around this time last year and was back to winning ways in smooth style at Wolverhampton recently, so he gets the nod ahead of the thriving Alfheim. Upepo, another last-time-out winner, makes up the shortlist in a competitive race for the grade.

This looks competitive but TORTURED SOUL gets a narrow vote ahead of Alfheim, Upepo and Khangai.

15:42 Lingfield Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

This can go the way of FRIDAY AGAIN, who showed major improvement on her handicap debut when finishing second over 6f here last month. The daughter of Kodi Bear is likely to be suited by going back up in trip, and she is preferred to Piranha Rama, who has strong claims if bouncing back to the form of her penultimate success at Chelmsford. Unexposed handicap debutant McKenna is another to consider, as well as Ornately making her second start for new connections.

FRIDAY AGAIN improved when second here on handicap debut despite shaping as if in need of further, so she can do enough to get off the mark back over an extra furlong. McKenna and Ornately appeal as the types to do better, so they're regarded as the main dangers.

Unexposed FRIDAY AGAIN is taken to build on her latest effort and go one better. Ornately is second choice.
