1st (4) (4/1 +11%) Hitched |
4/1(+11%) | (4) Hitched 4/1, Successful twice here in November before completing the hat-trick at Newcastle. Again ran well when second of 10 in handicap at Southwell (8.1f, 13/2) 11 days ago, despite needing stronger gallop. Respected upped in trip. Dual 1m scorer here; good second at Southwell 11 days ago; can go well again off same mark. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (3) (9/2 -50%) Epsom Faithfull |
9/2(-50%) | (3) Epsom Faithfull 9/2, Won 3 times here in 2024, including over C&D in November. Good second behind an unexposed rival in 11-runner handicap (11/) at this C&D 37 days ago and she can remain competitive. Good C&D second last time; four-time course winner, a player despite being 2lb higher. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (1) (10/11 +34%) Knockbrex |
10/11(+34%) | (1) Knockbrex 10/11, Returned to winning ways in 9-runner handicap at this course (12f, AW, 4/1) 6 days ago, quickening up well from the rear. Carries penalty but looks capable of following up with yard in good form. First win in handicaps came over 1m4f here six days ago; major player under 5lb penalty. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (2) (6/1 +0%) Vibrato |
6/1(+0%) | (2) Vibrato 6/1, Won 3 of last 4 starts in 2024, with latest success at Southwell in December. Raced too freely under a penalty when fifth of 7 in handicap (5/1) at Wolverhampton (8.6f) 5 days ago. Hood added as he goes up in trip. Raced freely, fair 5th at Wolverhampton five days ago; new trip but considered now hooded. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (5) (14/1 -56%) No Surrender |
14/1(-56%) | (5) No Surrender 14/1, Followed a good run with a below-par one with eighth of 9 in handicap at Southwell (12.1f, 13/2) 20 days ago, eased final 1f. Visor now reached for. On a losing run; pipped over C&D before tailed off over 1m4f last time; different headgear. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
KNOCKBREX scored comfortably over 1m4f here last week and, with the step back in trip looking manageable, he gets the vote to successfully shoulder a 5lb penalty. Vibrato was too keen for his own good when fading tamely into fifth over an extended mile at Wolverhampton recently but, sporting a first-time hood, he could emerge as the main danger to the selection. Hitched is also noteworthy.
KNOCKBREX bounced back to his best with a ready success at this course last week and he looks to hold leading claims under a penalty. With his yard going well, he can see off the challenge of 4-time course winner Epsom Faithfull, while Hitched also arrives in good form and could be in the mix.
This could go to Pat Phelan's EPSOM FAITHFULL who boasts an excellent record here and arrives on the back of a good C&D second.

1st (7) (4/1 +38%) Forge Valley Lad |
4/1(+38%) | (7) Forge Valley Lad 4/1, 3-time C&D winner. Fourteen runs since last win in 2023. 5/2, creditable fourth of 11 in handicap at this course (10f, AW) 18 days ago. Not out of things. A three-time C&D winner who arrives in good nick; he ought to be in the shake-up once more. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (2) (9/4 +25%) Paradoxical |
9/4(+25%) | (2) Paradoxical 9/4, Career best when readily winning over C&D last month and far from disgraced when fourth in follow-up bid at Southwell (12.1f) 6 days ago. Should go well again. C&D scorer; solid fourth at Southwell six days ago; needs considering under a 5lb penalty. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (3) (6/1 +50%) Seraphic |
6/1(+50%) | (3) Seraphic 6/1, Creditable 4¼ lengths fourth of 11 to Paradoxical in handicap at this C&D (AW, 14/1) 9 days ago, finishing strongly. Remains feasibly treated and must enter calculations. Won at Wolverhampton in October; creditable C&D fourth nine days ago; shortlisted. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (1) (22/1 -120%) Douglas Dc |
22/1(-120%) | (1) Douglas Dc 22/1, Ninth of 13 in handicap hurdle at Windsor (20f, good to soft, 16/1) 25 days ago. Cheekpieces back on. Fair on the Flat, good on last Flat outing. Others more persuasive. Generally in good form over hurdles this winter; shortlisted back in this sphere. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (9) (11/1 -57%) Lost In Time |
11/1(-57%) | (9) Lost In Time 11/1, Came close over shorter trip last month and arrives on back of creditable 2½ lengths second of 11 to Paradoxical in handicap over C&D 9 days ago, running on. Likely contender. Knocking on the door, C&D second nine days ago; he can go well again off same mark. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (6) (18/1 -13%) Kojin |
18/1(-13%) | (6) Kojin 18/1, Latest win at Wolverhampton in October. 14/1, creditable 6¼ lengths fifth of 11 to Paradoxical in handicap at this C&D (AW) 9 days ago. Cheekpieces back on. Others preferred. Not disgraced when C&D fifth nine days ago; another headgear switch; considered. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (10) (40/1 -21%) Hello Sweety |
40/1(-21%) | (10) Hello Sweety 40/1, Tongue strap on for 1st time, tenth of 14 in claimer (18/1) at Chantilly (10.4f) 73 days ago. First run for yard after leaving Alicja Karkosa. Market should prove best guide to claims on stable/handicap debut. Only tenth in 1m2f Chantilly claimer in October; more is needed on her yard/handicap debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (8) (5/2 +67%) Moon Over The Sea |
5/2(+67%) | (8) Moon Over The Sea 5/2, Three wins from 13 runs last year. Improved on recent efforts to win 12-runner handicap at Wolverhampton (12.2f) 13 days ago. 4 lb rise fair and expected to be bang there. Scored at Wolverhampton 13 days ago; form been franked so he merits serious consideration. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (5) (33/1 -65%) Another Beautiful |
33/1(-65%) | (5) Another Beautiful 33/1, Last of 11 in handicap at Wolverhampton (9.5f, 3/1) 55 days ago, folding tamely. Back up in trip. Needs a couple of these to falter. Last of 11 in Wolverhampton handicap in November; she needs to bounce back after a break. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
Khangai was well drawn when on target at Southwell on Friday but James Owen's charge will have more on his plate under a penalty and from a wide berth. PARADOXICAL finished fourth that day, having won over C&D on New Years' Eve. It's interesting that he's turned out quickly once more and with a 7lb claimer aboard, he gets the nod back at a venue that clearly suits him. Others to note include Lost In Time and Moon Over The Sea.
Preference is for LOST IN TIME, who figures off a handy mark and has shaped well here the last twice. Khangai and Moon Over The Sea head the list of dangers in an open-looking contest.
The vote goes to MOON OVER THE SEA who scored at Wolverhampton last time out and can defy a 4lb rise with that form having been franked.

1st (1) (11/10 -65%) Tadreeb |
11/10(-65%) | (1) Tadreeb 11/10, Off 4 months ahead of first run since leaving Michael Attwater, back to form when winning 8-runner handicap (7/4) at this C&D 6 days ago, just kept up to work. The one to beat under a penalty. Recorded third C&D win latest; looks well treated under 4lb penalty.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (2) (10/11 +64%) Fools Rush In |
10/11(+64%) | (2) Fools Rush In 10/11, Won twice in 2024, with latest success at Southwell in December. Backed up that effort when when third of 10 in handicap (3/1) at Wolverhampton (7.2f) 3 days ago and he can give another good account. Matched latest win form when run out of it into third late on at Wolverhampton; respected.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (4) (80/1 -300%) Go Wild |
80/1(-300%) | (4) Go Wild 80/1, Off the mark in novice at this course (8f) in September but has gone the wrong way in handicaps since, well held when last of 10 at Chelmsford City (8f, 50/1) 35 days ago. Has work to do. Yet to make an impact in handicaps and this looks tough based on her latest effort.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (3) (11/1 -120%) Poetic Force |
11/1(-120%) | (3) Poetic Force 11/1, Nineteen runs since last win in 2023. Unsuited by way race developed when sixth of 8 in handicap at Newcastle (7.1f, 6/1) 31 days ago, though he may just prove vulnerable for win purposes once more. Went close when 1lb higher last month; below par latest but he's not ruled out.. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
Tadreeb holds outstanding form claims having struck over C&D recently and the 4lb penalty should be no barrier to success. What might be, however, is his tendency to break slowly. With little pace to aim at Rod Millman's charge could be vulnerable and preference is for FOOLS RUSH IN. Ruth Carr's front-runner couldn't quite follow up on his recent Southwell triumph at Wolverhampton last time, but this can pan out more favourably. Poetic Force is expected to follow the pair home.
This can go the way of TADREEB who, after 4 months off, scored with a bit to spare at this C&D on his first run for Rod Millman last week. He remains well treated on old form under a penalty and is taken to record a fourth C&D success, with Fools Rush In looking the main danger having returned to form on his last 2 starts.
A repeat of his latest winning effort makes TADREEB the percentage call to get his nose in front again under a penalty.

1st (3) (10/1 +29%) Kiniro |
10/1(+29%) | (3) Kiniro 10/1, Still in need of experience but showed more than on debut when fourth of 9 in novice at Newcastle (6f, 20/1) 34 days ago, staying on final 1f. Further progress required. Some promise at Newcastle (6f) last month but he needs another major step forward. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (5) (1/6 +77%) Left Over Love |
1/6(+77%) | (5) Left Over Love 1/6, Strong in the betting (6/4) and made an encouraging debut when second of 9 in novice at Wolverhampton (7.2f) 20 days ago, leading over 1f out until final strides. Leading contender with improvement to come. Went very close on Wolverhampton debut and she sets a clear standard on this drop in trip. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (6) (7/1 +7%) Hint Of Humour |
7/1(+7%) | (6) Hint Of Humour 7/1, After 11 weeks off, found some further progress when third of 10 on nursery debut at this course (5f, AW, 33/1) 37 days ago, despite again racing freely. May do better still as she gains experience. Creditable third in 5f nursery here latest and she's in the mix back in a maiden. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (1) (16/1 +20%) Boundless Poet |
16/1(+20%) | (1) Boundless Poet 16/1, Making his first start, shaped as if needing the run when last of 9 in novice at Southwell (7.1f, 11/1) 30 days ago, weakening over 1f out. Has plenty to find in this contest, though. Faded into last of nine on Southwell debut (7f); needs lots of improvement dropped in trip. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (4) (100/1 -52%) Jorp |
100/1(-52%) | (4) Jorp 100/1, Slowly away and never involved first time up when ninth of 12 in novice at Kempton (6f, 200/1) 36 days ago. Looks to be up against it. Didn't show much at a massive price on his Kempton debut (6f, Polytrack) last month. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
This represents a fine opportunity for LEFT OVER LOVE, who was second to one with experience on her racecourse debut last month. In what doesn't appear to be the deepest of contests, any improvement may well suffice. That said, Andrew Balding's string often improve for their initial experience so it would come as no surprise were Charging Bull to progress. Hint Of Humour completes the shortlist.
Having been sent off favourite, LEFT OVER LOVE shaped promisingly when only narrowly denied at Wolverhampton on debut and she can build on that effort to go one better. Charging Bull also showed ability before getting tired on his first start and is feared most, ahead of Hint of Humour.
This can go to LEFT OVER LOVE, who was only just caught on her Wolverhampton debut and sets a clear second on this drop in trip.

Camera Shy |
(5) (10/1 -25%)10/1(-25%) | (5) Camera Shy 10/1, Made a winning racecourse bow at Newmarket (6f) in May. Gelded for reappearance third of 10 in novice at Chelmsford City (6f) 61 days ago. Could come on for that effort, but needs to. Newmarket winner and he's still unexposed; respected on handicap debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
1st (7) (15/8 +17%) Carbine Harvester |
15/8(+17%) | (7) Carbine Harvester 15/8, Unbeaten in handicaps (and since tongue-tie applied) and was well on top in the closing stages when landing a nursery (6.1f) at Southwell 11 days ago. Should make a bold bid for a hat-trick under a 6 lb penalty, with yard in excellent form. 2-2 in handicaps and he's 4lb well in under a penalty for his win 11 days ago; big player. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (1) (13/2 +19%) Brosay |
13/2(+19%) | (1) Brosay 13/2, Winner at Goodwood in May and successful on first run for this yard (Southwell, 5f) after leaving Diego Dias, stuck to task well in first-time cheekpieces having been outpaced early. Up to 6f today which should suit and has to enter calculations. Won on handicap/stable debut at Southwell and he's open to more progress back up in trip. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (3) (18/1 -177%) Dream Voyage |
18/1(-177%) | (3) Dream Voyage 18/1, Made most of a winnable opportunity when landing a 5-runner maiden at Salisbury (6f, 2/5 fav) in July. Finished last in Sweet Solera (7f, Group 3) at Newmarket on final run of last season. Back down in class and grade for AW debut and it would be no surprise to see her take a hand here. Salisbury winner who had tough task in Group 3 latest; interesting back in calmer waters. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (8) (40/1 -21%) Berkshire Kameo |
40/1(-21%) | (8) Berkshire Kameo 40/1, Fair maiden but hasn't progressed since handicap debut, 6½ lengths behind Carbine Harvester on first-time blinkers 11 days to go and plenty to find on that evidence. Seven-race maiden and he's been well held in his last three handicaps; others preferred. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (4) (22/1 +21%) Amerjeet |
22/1(+21%) | (4) Amerjeet 22/1, Course winner took small step in the right direction when third of 9 in novice at Newcastle (5f) 31 days ago, but did make pretty hard work of it in first-time blinkers that day. Hasn't gone on since his 5f win here last July; bit to prove now upped to 6f. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (9) (50/1 -213%) Rock N Roll Rocket |
50/1(-213%) | (9) Rock N Roll Rocket 50/1, Back to form when winning 12-runner nursery at Southwell but couldn't follow that up, 5¾ lengths fifth of 6 to Brosay in nursery at Southwell (5f) 12 days ago. Dual winner but he has a patchy profile and was laboured last time; risks attached. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (6) (6/4 +45%) Sergio Parisse |
6/4(+45%) | (6) Sergio Parisse 6/4, Beaten at odds-on when meeting trouble in running in July (fourth of 13 in novice at Salisbury, 6f). That was a warm race however, and he's still very much of interest now making his handicap/AW debut following wind surgery. Has had wind surgery and needs a close look now switched to a handicap on his return. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (2) (8/1 +0%) Ardennes |
8/1(+0%) | (2) Ardennes 8/1, Well-backed and ran with credit on second start for current stable (yard often do well with new recruits), when third behind Carbine Harvester at Southwell (6f) 11 days ago. 6 lb better off with that rival today and is entitled to run well again. Two decent front-running efforts since joining Mick Appleby but others are more persuasive. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
The Group 3 Sweet Solera at Newmarket proved to be beyond DREAM VOYAGE when she was last seen. However, this is significantly easier and Hugo Palmer's filly has a solid chance of making a successful handicap debut. The hat-trick seeking Carbine Harvester is an obvious threat under a 6lb penalty for last week's romp at Southwell, while Ardennes and Amerjeet are others capable of playing prominent roles.
Unbeaten in handicaps, CARBINE HARVESTER wasn't fully extended when scoring at Southwell 11 days ago and he can overcome a penalty to land the hat-trick today. Ardennes chased home the selection last time but is better at the weights today, while Brosay is respected having won on stable debut.
It's hard to get away from CARBINE HARVESTER (nap), who is 2-2 in handicaps and is 4lb well in under a penalty for his last success.

1st (3) (7/2 -5%) Invincible Aura |
7/2(-5%) | (3) Invincible Aura 7/2, Creditable third of 12 in handicap at Southwell (8.1f) 80 days ago, made headway 2f out and ran on. Yard in great form and has to be shortlist material with AW record a good one. 7f Polytrack and 1m winner; improving; needs to prove he acts here and a player if does.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (4) (11/4 +31%) Master Of Combat |
11/4(+31%) | (4) Master Of Combat 11/4, Enjoyed most of his success at Wolverhampton, another solid effort when second of 12 in a handicap there (9.5f) 13 days ago, only just failed. Arrives here in good heart and can run well again down in trip, for yard that is going well. Ran on well to be close second latest; first run here; repeat effort gives him claims.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (2) (9/1 -13%) Orbaan |
9/1(-13%) | (2) Orbaan 9/1, Eighth of 10 in handicap at Wolverhampton (9.5f) 20 days ago, upset in stalls and slowly away. Handicap mark continues to ease and back down to 1m today. 0-9 on AW; similar effort to his penultimate start would give him claims, now 3lb lower.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (1) (5/2 +0%) Bowood |
5/2(+0%) | (1) Bowood 5/2, Often slowly away from stalls. Has finished second on last two runs, not helped by a particularly tardy start latest second of 10 in handicap at Southwell (8.1f, 3/1) 11 days ago, did well in the circumstances. Big player if not losing too much ground at the start. Triple turf winner; went close on last two starts (1m, AW) and should be thereabouts.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (5) (7/2 -5%) Starshiba |
7/2(-5%) | (5) Starshiba 7/2, Won cosily over C&D latest, capitalising on reduced mark on just his second outing for a trainer who has made a promising start. Still fairly handicapped on the best of his back form and has to enter calculations today under a 4 lb penalty. Triple C&D winner; penalised for latest success but respected in trying to back that up.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (6) (80/1 -142%) Forca Timao |
80/1(-142%) | (6) Forca Timao 80/1, Winless since 2022, latest run after 8 weeks off a poor one. Has made a low-key start for current yard and others preferred. Tumbling in the handicap but will have to be a lot better than on his last two starts.. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
Bowood has done well since joining Ivan Furtado and another bold showing looks likely. However, he has never won off a rating this high and look vulnerable. With that in mind, a chance is taken that MASTER OF COMBAT can utilise a 2lb pull to turn around the form of their encounter at the same venue on his penultimate start. A C&D winner last week, Starshiba is another must for consideration under a penalty.
Having been slowly away, BOWOOD ran a super race to finish second 11 days ago and he can take this with a better start. Invincible Aura is capable of building on his good AW record, while cosy last-time-out winner Starshiba is respected under a 4 lb penalty.
Course winner STARSHIBA has backed up good efforts in the past and could still be well treated under his penalty, so he gets the vote.

2nd (2) (4/1 +11%) Harlington |
4/1(+11%) | (2) Harlington 4/1, Latest win at Wolverhampton in November. 7/2, good 1¼ lengths fourth of 12 to Dubai Harbour in handicap at this C&D (AW) 37 days ago. One to consider. Two Tapeta wins in the autumn and ran well behind Dubai Harbour here latest; in the mix. |

3/1(+50%) | (4) Dubai Harbour 3/1, C&D winner. Winner here in December. 5/2, creditable fourth of 12 in handicap at Chelmsford City (8f) 21 days ago. Back up in trip. Should give another good account. Won over C&D before a fair fourth over 1m at Chelmsford last time; possibilities. |

4th (3) (85/40 +23%) Come On John |
85/40(+23%) | (3) Come On John 85/40, Latest win at Southwell in October. Respectable second of 10 in handicap at Newcastle (10.2f, 11/10) 7 days ago, no match for winner. Holding form well of late. Triple AW winner, who has form figures of 4132222 for his current yard; key player. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (8) (33/1 -65%) Laurentia |
33/1(-65%) | (8) Laurentia 33/1, C&D winner. 100/1, good fifth of 11 in handicap at this C&D (AW) 18 days ago, left poorly placed. Not long with this yard and well treated on best form. C&D winner who was an eyecatcher back here last month; could be dangerous. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (1) (66/1 -230%) Sparkling Belle |
66/1(-230%) | (1) Sparkling Belle 66/1, Lightly-raced maiden. 28/1 and cheekpieces on for 1st time, last of 8 in handicap at Chepstow (8.1f, good). Off 6 months. First run for yard after leaving Jane Chapple-Hyam. Others have achieved more. Finished last in both handicaps and has plenty to prove on return for new yard. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (6) (40/1 -60%) Villalobos |
40/1(-60%) | (6) Villalobos 40/1, C&D winner. Latest win at Salisbury in August. 7¼ lengths eighth of 12 to Dubai Harbour in handicap (18/1) at this C&D (AW) 37 days ago. Needs to get back on track. C&D winner but he was well held back on the Flat here last month; down the list. |

150/1(-200%) | (5) Star Of Sussex 150/1, First run since leaving Gary Moore when hooded for 1st time, pulled up in handicap at Brighton (8f, good, 28/1). Off 8 months. Back up in trip. Hard to make a case for. 12-race maiden who has generally struggled in handicaps and has lots to prove on comeback. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
Come On John has been reliable since joining James Owen last August but the six-year-old's tendency to be outfought in a finish tempers confidence. He is reluctantly passed over, with the less-exposed DUBAI HARBOUR shading preference. The Pat Phelan-trained four-year-old was a game winner over C&D last month and has a live chance of adding to his tally back at this trip off just 2lb higher. Harlington carried a penalty when fourth in that race and is not ruled out on the revised terms.
INIT TOGETHER made a winning debut for Tony Carroll at Wolverhampton 5 days ago in the style of one who will enjoy more success before the end of the AW campaign. He's taken to follow up at the possible expense of Come On John, who has been in top form but will need to settle better than he did at Newcastle last time. Harlington and Dubai Harbour are also considered.
This looks competitive but recent Wolverhampton winner INIT TOGETHER gets the vote ahead of Come On John and Harlington.

4th (1) (66/1 -450%) Send In The Clouds |
66/1(-450%) | (1) Send In The Clouds 66/1, Fifth of 8 in handicap at Wolverhampton (14f, 11/2). Off 11 months. Down in trip. Hard to weigh up on return but worth a market check. Off since below par at Wolverhampton last February; he needs to hit the ground running. |

5th (5) (33/1 -267%) Cracking Filly |
33/1(-267%) | (5) Cracking Filly 33/1, Good third of 13 in handicap (6/1) at Chelmsford City (10f) 56 days ago. Well treated if she can build on that, so not one to rule out. Remains winless but a solid third at Chelmsford in November; ought to be in the shake-up. |

6th (2) (11/2 -57%) Major Major |
11/2(-57%) | (2) Major Major 11/2, Fifteen runs since last win in 2023. 2/1, good third of 12 in handicap at Wolverhampton (9.5f) 10 days ago. Can make presence felt. Winless since 2023 but a good third at Wolverhampton ten days ago; can go well. |

7th (6) (8/1 -14%) Naughty Niall |
8/1(-14%) | (6) Naughty Niall 8/1, 7/1, won 12-runner handicap at Southwell (8.1f) 20 days ago. Up in trip. Still feasibly treated but it was a weak race last time and he's not sure to be in the same form. Ended run of poor efforts with breakthrough win at Southwell latest; needs to back it up. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
The margins are likely to be tight as there is little to split Major Major (third) and ROYAL OBSERVATORY (second) based on their encounter at Wolverhampton at the end of December. However, the latter was forced to race wide and was arguably an unlucky loser that day. A less complicated run can see the Kevin Frost-trained gelding go one better. Cracking Filly completes the shortlist.
FOREVER PROUD continues to thrive and had something in hand at Wolverhampton 2 days ago so, despite the quick turnaround, she's fancied to add to her tremendous strike rate for this yard. Royal Observatory looks the main danger and Major Major isn't without hope.
Kevin Frost's low-mileage mare ROYAL OBSERVATORY can race off the same mark as when an excellent second last time, so she gets the nod.
Ths is the racecard key.
