2/5(+40%) | (4) Bunting 2/5, 37/1, won 12-runner maiden at Fontainebleau (10.9f, soft) on sole Flat start 9 months. Very much of interest sent hurdling for top yard. The likely market leader on his hurdles and Irish debut and likely to be hard to beat. |

12/1(-100%) | (6) Mr Lincoln 12/1, Fairly useful Flat winner. 22/1, fifth of 7 in minor event at Leopardstown (12.8f, good to soft). Could have a future in this sphere. Ended the Flat season with a mark of 86; has to be respected on his hurdles debut. |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (11) (10/1 -25%) Timeless Piece |
10/1(-25%) | (11) Timeless Piece 10/1, Fair Flat winner. Twice-raced maiden over hurdles. 8/1, fourth of 13 in juvenile hurdle at Punchestown (16.5f, soft) 40 days ago. Leading claims. Good run at Punchestown; looks the stable second string but unlikely to be far away. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (8) (66/1 -100%) Theincrowd |
66/1(-100%) | (8) Theincrowd 66/1, Twice-raced maiden under Rules. 16/1, fell in juvenile hurdle at Punchestown (16.5f, soft) on hurdles bow 40 days ago. Probably more one for the longer term. Ran well for a long way last time; others more likely but could outrun his likely odds. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (9) (11/1 -100%) Voice Of Reason |
11/1(-100%) | (9) Voice Of Reason 11/1, Fairly useful Flat winner. Tenth of 11 in handicap at Roscommon (11.6f, good to soft, 5/1). First run for yard after leaving G. M. Lyons and needs a second look on this huirdles debut. Ex-Ger Lyons; debuts for Gordon Elliott here and very much respected on his hurdles bow. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||

250/1(-67%) | (10) Tasmanian Girl 250/1, Modest maiden on the Flat. Twice-raced maiden. 200/1, ninth of 10 in juvenile hurdle at Fairyhouse (16.1f, heavy) 10 days ago. Hooded for 1st time. Tailed off on her sole completed run over flights; hood tried here but makes no appeal. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (5) (66/1 -164%) Cant Catch Camacho |
66/1(-164%) | (5) Cant Catch Camacho 66/1, Once-raced maiden. Tongue strap on for 1st time in this code, third of 10 in juvenile hurdle (125/1) at Cork (16.8f, heavy) on NH debut 16 days ago. Place possibilities if able to build on that. Third at Cork a couple of weeks ago despite some indifferent jumping; should improve. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
An intriguing contest to start proceedings, in which preference is for BUNTING, who debuts for Willie Mullins having bolted up on the Flat at Fontainebleau in March. There are signs of encouragement in his pedigree, so it would come as no surprise to see him make an immediate impact over timber. Voice Of Reason struck in a Killarney maiden over the summer and he is another that might benefit from the change in code. Stablemate Timeless Piece is fancied to chase the pair home.
The most interesting of these by some way is BUNTING, who looked good when winning his sole start on the Flat in France and is an intriguing candidate now switched to hurdles for the Willie Mullins yard. Timeless Piece is clear second choice given the improvement she showed when fourth at Punchestown last month. Bright Legend, Mr Lincoln and Voice of Reason, all successful on the level, all need a second look on their hurdles debuts.
Some interesting Flat winners on debut and the most likely one looks to be French Flat winner BUNTING on his debut for Willie Mullins

7/1(+7%) | (5) Joyau De Thaix 7/1, Promising individual. Third of 17 in novice hurdle at Gowran (16f, heavy, 11/1) on NH debut 45 days ago. Should progress. Entitled to improve for hiss Gowran run and could get into the shake-up. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (1) (8/1 -7%) Spasiba |
8/1(-7%) | (1) Spasiba 8/1, Visored for 1st time tongue strap on for 1st time, ninth of 17 in handicap (25/1) at Galway (12f, good). First run for yard after leaving P. Twomey. Winner for Paddy Twomey; hurdles debut here for Sam Curling and probably best watched. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (15) (11/10 -21%) Jolie Coeur Allen |
11/10(-21%) | (15) Jolie Coeur Allen 11/10, Promising type. Hooded for 1st time, second of 12 in novice hurdle (2/9) at Tramore (16.2f, soft) on hurdles bow 28 days ago, finding nothing. Stable having good spell. Open to improvement. Races keenly and her latest effort did bring her resolution into question; should go close. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (16) (6/4 +14%) Picture Of You |
6/4(+14%) | (16) Picture Of You 6/4, Promising type. Second of 13 in novice hurdle (9/2) at Cork (16f, heavy) 30 days ago, staying on well. Yard in good form. Should go well again. Just failed at Cork; might prefer further but going the right way; the one to beat here. |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (14) (200/1 -33%) Bigira |

250/1(-25%) | (10) Tellmeyourtroubles 250/1, Once-raced maiden. Eleventh of 13 in novice hurdle (100/1) at Cork (16f, heavy) on NH debut 30 days ago. No show on debut in a Cork maiden hurdle last month; an unlikely player here. |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
14th (12) (250/1 -25%) Tropical Speed |
250/1(-25%) | (12) Tropical Speed 250/1, Twice-raced maiden. Twelfth of 16 in novice hurdle at Thurles (16.5f, good to soft, 200/1) 26 days ago. Well beaten on both starts to date, unseating once; no appeal here. |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
Connections will have been a little disappointed that JOLIE COEUR ALLEN was unable to notch up a maiden hurdles success at Tramore last month, having finished a creditable fifth in a Grade 2 bumper at Aintree the start prior. She ought to have learned plenty from that experience and this looks a fine opportunity to get on the scoresheet. Picture Of You, who was narrowly denied at Cork 30 days ago, would appear to be her main danger. Others to note include Nathan Wells and Joyau De Thaix.
JOLIE COEUR ALLEN found disappointingly little when push came to shove on her hurdles debut at Tramore, but she remains a useful prospect in view of what she showed in bumpers and is taken to get the job done this time. Picture of You is the clear main danger on the back of her near miss at Cork, while Nathan Wells and likely improver Joyau de Thaix both make each-way appeal.
Preference is for PICTURE OF YOU, who would have got up in another stride at Cork last month and is going the right way

1st (6) (9/4 -38%) Loughglynn |
9/4(-38%) | (6) Loughglynn 9/4, Lightly-raced winner under Rules. 2/5, career best when winning 8-runner novice hurdle at Punchestown (20.8f, soft) on hurdles bow 40 days ago, easily. Remains open to improvement for top yard, which saddled the winner of this in 2016 and 2017. Good bumper form and comfortably made all on hurdling debut at Punchestown; exciting. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (7) (3/1 +45%) Stellar Story |
3/1(+45%) | (7) Stellar Story 3/1, Promising sort. 1 win from 2 runs this season. 5 lengths third of 5 to Slade Steel in Navan Novices' Hurdle (11/8) at Navan (20f, heavy) 17 days ago. Helps give his yard a strong hand (also represented by Search For Glory) and he's open to improvement. Looked to be crying out for this longer trip when third in a Grade 2 at Navan latest. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (2) (4/1 +60%) Answer To Kayf |
4/1(+60%) | (2) Answer To Kayf 4/1, Lightly-raced winner under NH rules. 1 win from 3 runs this season. Excellent second of 11 in novice hurdle (5/1) at Fairyhouse (19.8f, soft) 24 days ago, going with enthusiasm. Solid each-way chance. Will need his best yet to take this but he's by no means exposed and goes up in trip. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (1) (11/4 -10%) Search For Glory |
11/4(-10%) | (1) Search For Glory 11/4, Useful hurdler. 7/4 and cheekpieces on for 1st time, didn't need to improve to win 5-runner Gr 3 hurdle at Cork (24f, heavy) 16 days ago by 3 lengths from Solitary Man, running on. Yard has won 3 of the last 4 runnings of this and he's high on the shortlist. Experienced novice; has concede weight all round but brings strong form claims. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (5) (33/1 -230%) Dripsey Moon |
33/1(-230%) | (5) Dripsey Moon 33/1, Twice-raced winner over hurdles. 4/5, second of 7 in novice hurdle at Kelso (20.9f, soft) 79 days ago, going with enthusiasm. Open to progress but this assignment demands a sizeable step forward. Came up short under a penalty at Kelso and others appeal more. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (4) (200/1 -100%) Dreamings Free |
200/1(-100%) | (4) Dreamings Free 200/1, Twice-raced maiden. Last of 16 in bumper at Punchestown (16.4f, good to soft, 125/1), dropping away quickly. Off 8 months. Makes hurdles debut and steps significantly up in trip. Well down the field in both his bumpers and tilting at windmills here on hurdling debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (8) (10/1 -67%) Banprionsa |
10/1(-67%) | (8) Banprionsa 10/1, Twice-raced winner over hurdles. 2/5, won 10-runner novice hurdle at Tramore (21f, soft) 28 days ago, pushed out. Trainer going well. Tongue strap on 1st time. This is much tougher but she's bred to be smart and is well worth her place in the line-up. Didn't exactly blow them away when long odds-on at Tramore but going the right way. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
This contest is likely to prove instructive in assessing the Irish staying novice hurdlers with LOUGHGLYNN and Search For Glory both promising sorts. The latter landed a Grade 3 at Cork last time and Gordon Elliott's dour stayer is likely to be firmly in the mix once again. He may struggle to concede 3lb to Willie Mullins' gelding, who showed smart form in bumpers last term and a facile success on his hurdling debut at Punchestown last month suggests that he can take high rank in this sphere. Stellar Story and Tramore winner Banprionsa appeal most of the remainder.
Gordon Elliott boasts a good recent record in this race and saddles two strong candidates in STELLAR STORY and Search For Glory. The vote goes to the former, who was a beaten favourite in a Grade 2 at Navan recently but he should have more to offer now faced with a stiffer test. Search For Glory did the job well in a Cork Grade 3 with first-time cheekpieces enlisted and another bold show is anticipated. Loughglynn and the mare Banprionsa are other promising types to consider.
Gordon Elliott has a strong hand with two live chances but LOUGHGLYNN has good form already and this giant has better days ahead of him

1st (13) (9/1 +36%) Phils Choice |
9/1(+36%) | (13) Phils Choice 9/1, One of this season's lesser efforts when ninth of 12 in handicap hurdle at Thurles (20.5f, soft, 11/1) 54 days ago. Had run well on her previous 2 starts, though, so she's not discounted. Below par run at Thurles when last seen; not discounted but others have stronger claims. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (9) (10/1 +0%) Millstream Lady |
10/1(+0%) | (9) Millstream Lady 10/1, Opened account over hurdles at Listowel in September. Found run of good form halted when pulled up in handicap at Punchestown (24.4f, soft, 12/1) 30 days ago, struggling long way out. Bounce back called for. Drop back to this trip sure to be more suitable and should do a lot better here. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (5) (7/1 -56%) Sarah Beara |
7/1(-56%) | (5) Sarah Beara 7/1, Off the mark over hurdles at Wexford in August. 66/1, good effort when 7¼ lengths third of 5 to Search For Glory in Grade 3 novice hurdle at Cork (24f, heavy) 16 days ago. One to consider back in a handicap. Drop back in trip not guaranteed to suit and probably opposable on that basis alone. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (3) (10/3 -11%) Me Wee Bonnie Lass |
10/3(-11%) | (3) Me Wee Bonnie Lass 10/3, After 4 months off, took her record to 2 wins from 2 when scoring in 10-runner handicap hurdle at Gowran (16f, heavy, 20/1) 45 days ago. Leading contender with further progress to come upped in trip. Up 12lb but the surface might only have been scratched with her yet; leading chance. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (12) (22/1 -10%) Mag Dillane |
22/1(-10%) | (12) Mag Dillane 22/1, Fared no better making her handicap debut when tenth in 14-runner event at this course (16f, heavy, 11/) 35 days ago. Return to this longer trip not enough to tempt. Well beaten last twice, including a handicap hurdle on the inner 2m here; others preferred. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (7) (25/1 -150%) More Info |
25/1(-150%) | (7) More Info 25/1, Better than ever when winning hurdle at Thurles in October. However, found it tougher from 7 lb higher mark when sixth of 12 in handicap at the same course (20.5f, soft, 8/1) 54 days ago. Cheekpieces back on. Not so effective dropped back to this trip at Thurles last month; others preferred. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (6) (9/2 +18%) Missiee |
9/2(+18%) | (6) Missiee 9/2, In the process of running well when fell last in handicap hurdle at Clonmel (24f, heavy, 9/2) 47 days ago, held in second at the time. 9 lb higher than when winning this race last year, but she can give another good account. 9lb lower when winning this race last year and winless since; cannot be discounted. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (1) (12/1 +25%) Optional Mix |
12/1(+25%) | (1) Optional Mix 12/1, C&D winner. Better for run after 7 months off when sixth of 8 in handicap chase at Fairyhouse (20f, soft, 13/2) 23 days ago. Could be thereabouts back over hurdles with her recent outing behind her. Should come on for her recent Fairyhouse run and be more of a factor but others preferred. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (10) (25/1 +0%) It'sallabouteve |
25/1(+0%) | (10) It'sallabouteve 25/1, In first-time cheekpieces, failed to come on for recent run when ninth of 16 in handicap hurdle (33/1) at Punchestown (16.5f, soft) 40 days ago. Others more persuasive. No encouragement from her last two runs over 2m here and at Punchestown; others preferred. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (8) (17/2 +15%) Lucky Viv |
17/2(+15%) | (8) Lucky Viv 17/2, Looked to have been handed a stiff-looking opening mark when seventh of 9 in handicap hurdle at Tramore (21f, soft, 8/1) 28 days ago. Has something to find. Likely to run her race and has an each-way chance but could find a couple too good again. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (4) (5/1 +17%) Ms Agartha Yeats |
5/1(+17%) | (4) Ms Agartha Yeats 5/1, Made a successful debut at Wexford in October last year. Left reappearance run behind when second of 11 in handicap hurdle at Navan (22f, heavy, 12/1) 37 days ago, rallying after mistake last. Not taken lightly. Navan second probably best at around 2m6f but respected back at this trip in mares company. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (2) (20/1 -43%) Return To Base |
20/1(-43%) | (2) Return To Base 20/1, Latest win in hurdle at Downpatrick in May. After a couple of starts over fences, better for run when sixth of 10 in handicap hurdle at Ballinrobe (21.8f, good to soft, 22/1) in September. Has been off again since, though. Dual winning hurdler; useful 7lb taken off her back here and not one to discount. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
ME WEE BONNIE LASS is unbeaten in two starts over the smaller obstacles, including when accounting for her nearest rival by over two lengths on her handicap debut at Gowran Park last month. The daughter of Doyen could improve for the step up in distance and can defy her 12lb hike. The main danger might be Ms Agartha Yeats, who hit the crossbar over 2m6f at Navan last time and could land a blow off a 4lb higher rating, while Return To Base should find this easier than her assignment at Ballinrobe in September.
ME WEE BONNIE LASS looked potentially useful when making a winning handicap debut at Gowran last month and she can maintain her unbeaten record with more still to offer upped in trip. Optional Mix won over C&D at this meeting last year and is feared most with her recent run behind her, ahead of Ms Agartha Yeats.
Preference is for the unbeaten ME WEE BONNIE LASS who made a seamless transition into handicap company at Gowran last month

10/3(-122%) | (3) The King Of Prs 10/3, Promising sort. Tongue strap on for 1st time, career best when winning 11-runner novice chase (8/1) at Wexford (16f, heavy) on debut over fences 39 days ago by a length from Henn See. Further progress likely. Promises to be a better chaser having accounted for subsequent winner Henn See at Wexford. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||

15/2(+25%) | (2) Irish Blaze 15/2, Fairly useful chaser. 12/1, below form eleventh of 20 in handicap hurdle at Navan (16f, heavy) 38 days ago. Switches from hurdles to chase. 40/1(-100%) | (4) Deployed 40/1, Fell in novice chase (80/1) at Thurles (18.4f, good to soft) 26 days ago. Readily passed over. After finishing well beaten in his first chase he fell mid-race in the second. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
THE KING OF PRS got up in the dying strides to deny Henn See (second) by a length on his chase debut at Wexford and he would have learned a great deal from that experience. The son of Dansant shaped as if this slightly extra distance could eke out more improvement and he can confirm that form to take this. As for the latter, he went on to be victorious by just over a length at Clonmel and can put it up to the selection again. Of the remainder, Irish Blaze makes the most appeal on his first start for the Cian Collins stable.
There was only a length between THE KING OF PRS and Henn See at Wexford last month and, on the same terms, if should again be close between them. Gavin Cromwell's charge looks progressive and he is taken to emerge on top again, and complete the hat-trick in the process. Karuma Grey could be the one to pick up minor honours.
No outstanding candidate. JACKPOT DE CHOISEL remains unexposed, is bred to make a chaser and has the handy 4yo allowance.

1st (11) (13/2 +35%) Chainofconsequence |
13/2(+35%) | (11) Chainofconsequence 13/2, One win from 24 NH runs. Sixteen runs since last win in 2022. Lacklustre display when sixth of 11 in handicap chase at Thurles (18.3f, good to soft, 11/2) 9 days ago. Bit to prove now. Close second in a Galway handicap hurdle two months ago but well beaten twice since. |

5/1(+38%) | (4) Teescomponentsyess 5/1, Thirteen runs since last win in 2021. Bettered previous chase efforts when third of 9 in handicap chase (10/1) at Navan (20.4f, heavy) 9 days ago. In the mix. Encouragement from his last two runs in handicap chases; claims if the drop in trip suits. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (1) (11/2 -38%) Rolly Bowley Boy |
11/2(-38%) | (1) Rolly Bowley Boy 11/2, Fair winner at 20f over hurdles. 11/2, creditable second of 9 in handicap chase at Navan (20.4f, heavy) 9 days ago. Visor on 1st time. Should give another good account. Drops back in trip; visor tried and should not be far away if the trip is not an issue. |

4th (5) (17/2 -6%) Our Bobby |
17/2(-6%) | (5) Our Bobby 17/2, Latest win in hurdle at Bellewstown in July. Fair winner at 20f over hurdles. Below that level when eighth of 16 in handicap chase (11/1) at Naas (16f, soft) on debut over fences 12 days ago but possible he could now step forward. Mid-division in a Naas handicap chase on his fencing debut two weeks ago; more needed. |

5th (13) (11/1 +56%) Maciver |
11/1(+56%) | (13) Maciver 11/1, 20/1 and blinkered for 1st time, ninth of 14 in handicap chase at Thurles (25f, good to soft) 9 days ago. Down in trip. Mark remains somewhat workable if able to get close to his hurdles form. Well beaten in a quartet of chases since returning from a year off in November. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (8) (3/1 -9%) Mahlers Cove |
3/1(-9%) | (8) Mahlers Cove 3/1, Modest winner at 16f over hurdles. 8/1, improved when third of 16 in handicap chase at Naas (16f, soft) 12 days ago. Not ruled out. Decent third on his handicap chase debut at Naas last time; shold be a big player here.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (12) (80/1 -220%) Theblazen Queen |
80/1(-220%) | (12) Theblazen Queen 80/1, Thrice-raced maiden. Seventh of 11 in novice chase at Wexford (19.8f, heavy, 200/1) 137 days ago. Needs switch to handicaps to garner some improvement. Beaten 166 lengths in three beginners chases in the summer; makes little appeal. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (10) (80/1 -300%) Natural Ability |
80/1(-300%) | (10) Natural Ability 80/1, Fourteenth of 16 in handicap chase at Naas (16f, soft) 12 days ago. Opposable. Modest form over hurdles and fences and very difficult to make a case for. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (9) (9/2 +36%) Meehall |
9/2(+36%) | (9) Meehall 9/2, Good second of 13 in handicap hurdle (9/2) at this course (24.4f, heavy) 35 days ago, clear of rest. Switches from hurdles to chase. Down in trip. Sets the standard. Big drop in trip here far from guaranteed to suit and opposable on that basis. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (3) (12/1 -85%) Freddie Robdal |
12/1(-85%) | (3) Freddie Robdal 12/1, Fourteenth of 22 in handicap hurdle (5/1) at Navan (16f, heavy) 37 days ago, again finding less than looked likely. Switches from hurdles to chase. Trainer going well but others preferred. Poor effort over hurdles at Navan latest; better chaser and should be more effective here. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (2) (16/1 -100%) Sunnyvilla |
16/1(-100%) | (2) Sunnyvilla 16/1, Latest win in chase at Fairyhouse in February. Possibly needed the run when pulled up in handicap chase on return at Clonmel (20.7f, heavy) 61 days ago. Not fully discounted if sharper here. Pulled up in a Clonmel handicap in October; claims at his best but a question to answer. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (7) (33/1 +0%) Elmount |
33/1(+0%) | (7) Elmount 33/1, First run since leaving Alastair Ralph when pulled up in handicap chase at Thurles (20.5f, soft, 20/1) 68 days ago, dropping away from 4 out. Needs to prove he retains ability for current yard. Winner in Britain; pulled up on his sole Irish start at Thurles in October; hard to fancy. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (6) (80/1 -21%) Coole Arcade |
80/1(-21%) | (6) Coole Arcade 80/1, Pulled up both outings since leaving Henry De Bromhead. Hard to fancy. Pulled up in two handicap chases over 3m and 2m for this stable; hard to fancy. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
ROLLY BOWLEY BOY bumped into a well-handicapped rival when second at Navan nine days ago and the application of a visor can see the six-year-old go one better here. That said, Mahlers Cove should not be underestimated having made the frame at Naas last time, while Meehall is another with strong form claims. The shortlist is completed by Freddie Robdal and Teescomponentsyess.
MEEHALL has been generally consistent over both hurdles and fences this year and can build on a trio of sound efforts over the smaller obstacles to gain a deserved success. Rolly Bowley Boy has run well on both outings this season and should continue in form, with Mahlers Cove and Teescomponentsyess also considered.
The one to be on could be MAHLERS COVE (nap) after a very good run at Naas last time. He could be a very effective handicap chaser

3rd (6) (4/1 +38%) Rachel's Secret |
4/1(+38%) | (6) Rachel's Secret 4/1, Thrice-raced maiden under NH rules. 7/2, second of 10 in novice hurdle at Tramore (21f, soft) 28 days ago. Switches from hurdles to bumpers. Back down in trip. Tongue strap on for 1st time. Not dismissed. Gave the useful Banprionsa a race in a maiden hurdle at Tramore; sure to be involved. |

4th (4) (2/1 -150%) Magic Mccolgan |
2/1(-150%) | (4) Magic Mccolgan 2/1, Flemensfirth filly. Sister to useful hurdler/high-class chaser Tornado Flyer, and half-sister to 3 winners, including modest chaser Famoso, stays 19f. Makes plenty of appeal on paper. 88,000euros foal; sister to bumper & 2m1f-3m hurdle/high-class chase winner Tornado Flyer. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (7) (6/1 -33%) Sainte Baol |
6/1(-33%) | (7) Sainte Baol 6/1, €115,000 3-y-o, Saint Des Saints mare. Half-sister to fair French hurdler Poligone. Dam French hurdler/chaser (17f/2½m winner). Won sole start in Irish points in January and joined Gordon Elliott. Point winner; went off 9-1 when beaten 20l in a maiden hurdle at Navan. |

6th (9) (15/2 -50%) Workinonadream |
15/2(-50%) | (9) Workinonadream 15/2, Thrice-raced maiden. Second of 8 in bumper (4/1) at this C&D (heavy) 35 days ago. Solid claims. Has recorded the same RPR of 107 in all her bumpers and brings the best form credentials. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (5) (150/1 -127%) Mrs Biddle |
150/1(-127%) | (5) Mrs Biddle 150/1, Once-raced maiden. 125/1 and hooded tongue strap on, sixth of 15 in novice hurdle at Tramore (21.1f, good) on NH debut. Makes bumpers debut. First run for yard after leaving Garrett James Power. Unplaced in a point (Apr 9). Modest point form and made no impression in a Tramore maiden hurdle. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (2) (16/1 +0%) French Hill |
16/1(+0%) | (2) French Hill 16/1, Twice-raced maiden. First run since leaving Adrian Brendan Joyce when eighth of 16 in bumper at Galway (16f, heavy, 33/1) 58 days ago. First run for yard after leaving Miss Shauna Larkin. Ran okay to be beaten about 12l at Galway but Rachel's Secret was below par that day. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
Workinonadream sets the standard having filled second place in all three of her previous starts but a chance can be taken with the well-bred MAGIC MCCOLGAN. Willie Mullins' filly cost 88,000 euros as a foal and she is a full-sister Tornado Flyer, who won a Grade 1 bumper before going on to score in the King George VI Chase at Kempton. Others to consider are Sainte Baol and Rachel's Secret.
MAGIC MCCOLGAN is a full sister to the classy Tornado Flyer and, with a top yard, he makes plenty of appeal. Sainte Baol is an obvious danger having landed a point and Workinonadream is the best of those with bumper experience.
The Mullins filly MAGIC MCCOLGAN is a serious eyecatcher on paper as a sister to the stable's top-class chaser Tornado Flyer.
Ths is the racecard key.
