Not much form to go on here and the Ballydoyle colt MOUNT KILIMANJARO may prove best on debut. The son of Siyouni cost 420,000 euro as a yearling. His dam was Grade 3-placed in the US and is a half-sister to a couple of top-level winners in the States. Ger Lyons runs two and Colin Keane takes the mount on Moyglare colt Yamal. The son of Dark Angel is out of a Listed placed half-sister to Youmzain and Creachadoir. His half-brother Tamrat won first time out for the yard last year. Jessica Harrington has her string in fine form and Hotazhell is another newcomer to note in the market.
This is likely to be dominated by the newcomers with MOUNT KILIMANJARO the standout. Scorthy Champ and Hotazhell are other likely types.
A guessing game; we'll go for MOUNT KILIMANJARO to give Wayne Lordan another winner after his Ballydoyle four-timer here last weekend

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
CARDINAL ZIN has already posted two solid placed efforts this season and can get off the mark now. The Make Believe gelding lost out by just a short-head to Action Plan first time up and that rival ran a big race at Roscommon on Monday. He was then third in a competitive handicap at Naas last month and his mark of 82 looks enough to win a maiden of this standard. Aratayvo finished down the field in the Goffs Million when last seen but had previously been second to Bright Stripes in a Naas maiden. That form looks good now with the winner successful in a Listed race recently. Genoah looks a newcomer to note with Colin Keane booked.
This looks a good opportunity for CARDINAL ZIN, who was placed in handicaps at Gowran and Naas following a break last month and he should prove a tough nut to crack back in maiden company. Ridhaz and Wrob And Wryan should both build on their encouraging debuts and rate the main dangers in that order of preference.
It may be worth siding with RIDHAZ who shaped as if the step up to a mile would see plenty of improvement when fourth at Naas.

APOLLO PRINCE looks capable of winning a race of this standard. The Kodiac colt stuck to the far rail on his own when finishing fourth on his return to action at Naas and that looked a good effort with the front pair having come a lot wider. He is fancied to turn the tables now on the winner Naisiun, who has gone up 5lb since and runs from 1lb out of the handicap here. Ferrybank comes here having been in fine form on the all-weather and has to be respected. He did win here over seven furlongs a few years back and could still be on a competitive mark back on turf.
NAISIUN is less exposed than most of these and arrives on the back of a decent third in a big field at Naas. The in-form Ferrybank is next best ahead of Apollo Prince.
The return to better ground should suit ROCK ETOILE and he is a lively each-way player.

ALESSIA FERNANDA ran well on her handicap debut at the Curragh 11 days ago and may be able to step forward now with that run under her belt. The Starspangledbanner filly just faded a touch inside the final furlong then when fourth to Orandi and with that outing and better ground now she is capable of running a big race. Bright Dick was a winner at Dundalk on his penultimate start and ran a solid race there last time off this mark. He could get involved back on turf. Toriangel kept on to finish fourth on her return at Cork three weeks ago and is another to throw into the mix.
TORIANGEL has been given a real chance by the handicapper so could be the answer after a creditable comeback at Cork. Alessia Fernanda and Rampage head the dangers.
After an encouraging reappearance at Cork last time out, TORIANGEL is beginning to look well handicapped.

Significantly back up in trip and she now has a bit to prove. Underwhelming start for new yard at Naas but step up in trip on better ground will suit. |

This is tougher up 7 lb but she's consistent and should be in the mix. Good winner of competitive Cork handicap lto; up 7lb; big shout if handling better ground. |

6/1(+50%) | (8) Encosta 6/1, Below form twelfth of 20 in handicap (33/1) at the Curragh (7f, soft) 11 days ago. Significantly up in trip and she's probably worth taking on. Below form the last twice but runs well here; better ground and step up in trip will suit. |

10/1(+0%) | (12) Cleopatra's Needle 10/1, Blinkered for 1st time, won 17-runner handicap at Navan (10f, good to soft, 12/1) 10 days ago, well positioned. She clealry did the job very well that day but a 12 lb demands something extra. Off the mark at Navan ten days ago but a 12lb rise in a better race demands plenty more. |

33/1(+18%) | (5) Queenie St Clair 33/1, 20/1, fifth of 8 in handicap at Gowran (8f, heavy) 8 days ago. Back up in trip and she's opposable in current form. Hasn't landed a blow in handicap company since winning Naas maiden; hard to fancy. |

2/1(+69%) | (9) Enthralling 2/1, Good third of 10 in handicap (10/1) at this C&D (heavy) 40 days ago. Stable in good form and she's a big player off the same mark. Good third over C&D last month on first try over the trip; every chance off the same mark. |

14/1(-155%) | (11) Lavender Haze 14/1, Thrice-raced maiden. 6/1, fourth of 10 in maiden at Cork (7f, heavy) 48 days ago, unsuited by drop in trip. This stiffer test will be very much in her favour now handicapping and she's one for the shortlist. Showed ability in three maidens; should enjoy this trip; player on handicap debut. |

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
CLEOPATRA'S NEEDLE showed significant improvement on her return at Navan, when running out an easy winner, and may be able to defy what was effectively a 12lb hike. She has reportedly had her share of problems but put it all together in fine style 10 days ago when winning over this trip and connections will be hoping she continues in the same vein. At the other end of the handicap, Notstringsattached also comes into this in winning form and looks a danger. She edged out Take Heart at Cork last month and was given a 7lb rise for that performance. You Owe Me Money was third that day and is entitled to get a bit closer now.
Having stepped up on his low-key reappearance when third at Gowran last time, A SHIN UNDINE could be the answer. Enthralling is feared most ahead of Speckled Meadow and You Owe Me Money.
It's worth siding with ENTHRALLING who returned with an encouraging third-placed effort behind Chantilly over course and distance lto.

Didn't need to be at best when winning 7-runner listed race (2/13) at Navan (14f, good to soft) 20 days ago by 3¼ lengths from Queenstown, driven clear. Hard to oppose. 6th (5) (33/1 -50%) Sunchart |
33/1(-50%) | (5) Sunchart 33/1, Useful gelding. 1 win from 1 run this year. Career best when winning 7-runner listed race (5/1) at Naas (10.4f, heavy) 54 days ago by 6½ lengths from Knight To King. Significantly back up in trip. Ending long losing run at Naas in March, readily winning 1m2f Listed on heavy; stiff task. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
The Aidan O'Brien-trained KYPRIOS should win this en route to another bid for the Ascot Gold Cup. The six-year-old won the latter race in 2022 before injury forced him to miss last year's renewal. Having finished runner-up in both outings last back end, he looked back to his best when easily winning on his reappearance at Navan last month. Yashin, who took this prize 12 months ago, faces a much more difficult task with Kyprios in the line-up. To his credit, the Jessica Harrington-trained gelding kept on well when third behind the latter at Navan. He should be fitter here with that run out of the way. Queenstown, who split the pair at Navan, should once again be involved for minor honours.
Things didn't go to plan for KYPRIOS last year but he resumed with a convincing success at Navan and he is a class act. The 6-y-o is taken to repeat his 2022 victory in this race and, in doing so, book his place for next month's Ascot Gold Cup, a race he also landed in 2022. Dawn Rising was beaten a fair wy behind Kyprios last time but he clearly wasn't 100% that day and earns the vote for forecast purposes ahead of Yashin and Sunchart.
The money buyers were active before the Vintage Crop at Navan won readily by KYPRIOS and they might be again because he's unopposable

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
Despite being drawn wider than ideal, JAWHARY can win on his fourth start for Adrian McGuinness. The six-year-old went very close from a similar high berth when just caught late on at Navan last time. Running consistently well since joining the Dublin man earlier this year, a second career success beckons. Enquire Within kept on nicely under Amy Jo Hayes when third at Sligo recently. The eight-year-old mare should again be involved in the finish here. Morgan Cole, one of the better young apprentices in the UK, is an interesting jockey booking for the Anthony McCann-trained Muhalhel. The six-year-old was a recent winner on the all-weather at Wolverhampton, but also boasts a victory on the grass.
MUHALHEL finally got off the mark for current connections at Wolverhampton 3 weeks ago but that win over 12.2f opens up more options regarding trip and he's definitely in better heart than most of these. Jawhary drops in grade and is a definite threat, along with Charlie Darling back up in distance.
Back up to a more suitable trip after a good run over 1m2f at Navan, CHARLIE DARLING can give it a good lash under Robert Whearty

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
THE BLACK TIGER, a first runner for Frances Crowley since renewing her licence, would be a hugely popular winner. Last seen when successful in a Curragh maiden last June for Aidan O'Brien, the four-year-old could be nicely handicapped off a mark of 82. With Hannah Smullen in the saddle, the son of Justify will have plenty of supporters. Willie Mullins supplies two of the biggest dangers, with Anotherway arguably the pick of his duo. Still very much in contention when falling at the second-last in a Grade 2 hurdle at Fairyhouse in March, the five-year-old could have some leeway off a mark of 85. Stablemate Tounsivator, a dual winner on the Flat in France, has been successful over hurdles since arriving in Ireland.
Unlucky not to get her head in front over 10.6f at Sligo recently, WHIMSY is taken to gain compensation back up in trip here. Anotherway was third in a Punchestown novice hurdle earlier this month and he is an obvious threat for the Willie Mullins yard, while Reina Del Mar is third choice ahead of A Piece Of Heaven and Firstman.
A chance is taken on the 2022 winner TTHE NAMES JOCK who shaped okay here on his return from a mammoth lay-off
Ths is the racecard key.
