13:15 Leopardstown Maiden 7f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

IGOR STRAVINSKY can gain compensation here after being narrowly denied on his debut at the Curragh. The No Nay Never colt led inside the final furlong then before being pipped at the line by the fast-finishing Zaynab. With that run under his belt he should prove hard to beat now. Apricot Ice sets the standard off her mark of 86 and looks the obvious danger. The Bated Breath filly ran well when second at Dundalk on her return last month and should be a big player again. Sub Rosa was placed a couple of times in England, including a narrow defeat at Lingfield, and is one to note on her first start for Donal Kinsella.

APRICOT ICE pulled clear of a subsequent winner when beaten only by a useful prospect in a similar event at Dundalk on return and can go one better. Igor Stravinsky was only just edged out at the Curragh on debut 3 weeks ago and is the obvious threat with Hilasmos and White Clover best of the others.

She has twice been narrowly beaten by Ballydoyle-trained rivals but APRICOT ICE can see off Aidan O'Brien's Igor Stravinsky.

13:50 Leopardstown Maiden 12f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

HIGHBURY can turn around form with Himalayan Heights on his second start. The Galileo colt was green first time in Cork 16 days ago, coming off the bridle turning for home. He was doing his best work at the finish and has only half a length to find with his rival after the pair finished second and third behind Birdman. Himalayan Heights was a touch keen early on then and if he settles better he may finish off stronger this time. Jessica Harrington, who trained the aforementioned Birdman, saddles newcomer Final Entry. The Galileo colt is a half-brother to three winners, including the Group 3-placed Arturo Toscanini.

HIGHBURY showed plenty to work on when third at Cork and shades the vote over Himalayan Heights, who is capable of winning a maiden. Vice President and Final Entry are a couple of newcomers to note.

He was getting the message late on when half a length behind Himalayan Heights at Cork and HIGHBURY can improve past that rival now

14:25 Leopardstown Group 3 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

We didn't learn much more about ONE LOOK when she went through the motions to score at 1/20 on her return at Cork in late March. The Gleneagles filly had looked a bit special when winning the Goffs Millions by six lengths from a smart sort in Cherry Blossom on her debut last September. This nicer ground suit better now and she is an exciting prospect for classics this season. Buttons is entitled to improve from her comeback run here. She was a staying on third to A Lilac Rolla in the Priory Belle Stakes and looks an obvious danger. Wendla was back in sixth then and has a bit of ground to make up.

ONE LOOK holds the clear edge on form so is fancied to follow up her Cork success in this higher grade. Buttons also has better days ahead of her and looks the one to give her most to do ahead of improving duo Wendla and Unreasonable.

The addition of a tongue-tie to One Look is disconcerting and we'll take her on with BUTTONS, an eyecatcher here over 7f last time

15:00 Leopardstown Group 3 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

YOSEMITE VALLEY wasn't stopping over the stiff seven at the Curragh last time and a mile around a bend here shouldn't be an issue. The Shamardal half-brother to Irish Derby runner-up Piz Badile has been campaigned at six and seven to date but powered through the line when winning the Gladness Stakes last time and looks progressive. Bold Discovery has the top rating of 109 and is a smart horse on his day. He was a good winner of the Celebration Stakes at the Curragh over a mile on good ground last year and is entitled to play a big part. Knight To King couldn't match Sunchart in very testing conditions at Naas on his return and may fare better now.

YOSEMITE VALLEY looked better than ever when taking the Gladness Stakes at the Curragh last month and can go in again at the chief expense of last year's winner Power Under Me. In-form duo Fiscal Rules and Real Appeal can also have a say in an intriguing Group 3 event.

Tricky; we'll take a chance on BOLD DISCOVERY who will like the ground, goes well fresh and might be all the better for being gelded

15:35 Leopardstown Group 3 10f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Group 1 winner LOS ANGELES should prove hard to beat here on his return to action. The Camelot colt got home by a neck in a tight finish to the Criterium de Saint-Cloud on his second career outing in October and that form has worked out well since. Aidan O'Brien has a terrific record in this and Los Angeles should prove the class act. Bremen has already been in winning form this season, claiming a decent little conditions race at Cork 16 days ago. He looks the danger if Los Angeles isn't full wound up. Euphoric, third to Bremen in Cork, should improve from his comeback run and can get into the frame again.

LOS ANGELES signed off at 2yrs with a smart success in the Criterium de Saint-Cloud and can return in style for his in-form yard. Stablemate Euphoric also has better days ahead of him and is next on the list ahead of recent winners Bremen and Keeper's Heart who can fight it out for minor honours.

If there's a future star on show this year it's LOS ANGELES, who should make a better 3yo and he already boasts Group 1 honours.

16:10 Leopardstown Maiden 10f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Some promising types in this maiden and OB LA DI is amongst them after her fourth over C&D last month. The winner of that contest wasn't beaten far in the Cheshire Oaks and Johnny Murtagh's Blue Point filly may improve for better ground. She is well entered up in Group contests. Fleetingly improved from her debut to finish second over this trip at Naas and has to be respected. Lope De Lilas holds an Irish Oaks entry and was a warm order for her debut at Galway in the autumn where heavy ground may have counted against her. The 88-rated Finsceal Luas takes a marked step up in trip and is fitted with a tongue-tie while newcomer Shavasi is related to Group winners.

FLEETINGLY has a long way to go if she's to live up to her pedigree but she took a step forward from her debut when second in a Naas maiden 2 weeks ago and she could be worth siding with to take another step forward. Finsceal Luas will benefit from the return to calmer waters and is feared, with Ob La Di and Lope de Lilas other likely improvers.

A few with chances in an interesting maiden. OB LA DI might be the answer if able to build on her eyecatching debut here a month ago.

16:45 Leopardstown Handicap 10f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

ETHICAL DIAMOND was bought for plenty of money after winning a 1m4f Limerick maiden for Michael O'Meara last summer and this will be his first start on the level since then. The Awtaad gelding has been hurdling over the winter and ran notably well in a Grade 1 at the Dublin Racing Festival. This trip might be a bit sharp but he looks potentially well handicapped. Saturn is also of interest in his first handicap. Out of the high-class Alpha Centauri, he won an all-weather maiden in good style in November and there should be more to come from him this season. Grey Leader won three times last term including on good ground at Listowel. He may have needed last month's comeback at the Curragh and now steps up in trip.

The well-bred SATURN resumed progress equipped with a first-time tongue strap when successful in a Dundalk maiden in November and he looks the type to improve further now his sights are set on handicaps. Ethical Diamond is another of interest for Willie Mullins, with Ceallach and Global Energy another pair to consider.

The interesting runner is ETHICAL DIAMOND who is thoroughly unexposed now returned to the Flat on goodish ground.

17:20 Leopardstown Handicap 12f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

ORTELIUS showed promise in two juvenile outings on decent ground and probably was inconvenienced by testing conditions when second to a stablemate here on his return over 1m2f. Sent off odds-on that day, the Justify colt could be well treated for his handicap debut and promises to be suited by this longer trip. Invention was just a head behind the selection last time and is now 6lb better off including his rider's claim. Cow Chico readily won an all-weather maiden in March under Kevin Stott and he comes over to resume the partnership. The Frankel colt is another unexposed contender.

ORTELIUS has shaped with encouragement on each of his three outings to date, shaping like this step up in trip will be firmly in his favour, so this seven-figure yearling purchase is worth a chance to defy an opening mark of 85 at the possible expense of Cow Chico, an impressive winner at Dundalk last time. Natural Ruler is one of several others with potential.

Aidan O'Brien has won many a handicap with horses bound for Group races and such ambitions remain realistic for ORTELIUS.
