The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
BOLD AS LOVE made an encouraging debut when second to a promising filly of Dermot Weld's who had previous experience here in October and she looks the one to beat on her return. Tender Kiss possesses a nice blend of speed and stamina in her pedigree and warrants close attention in the market on her introduction, although Ryan Moore is on Dundalk fourth Warm Heart. Toistiun finished a never-nearer third at the Curragh last week and should appreciate this stiffer test, with Curvature making most appeal of the remaining opposition.
Lots of potential on show here, not least from Donnacha O'Brien's Irish 1000 Guineas entrant BOLD AS LOVE who shaped very well when a debut second here last autumn and can go one better now. Aidan O'Brien saddles two interesting contenders in the shape of Dundalk-fourth Warm Heart and debutante Tender Kiss and they can follow home the selection in that order.
BOLD AS LOVE was outpaced by the smart Tarawa on debut here over 7f last term but will be more at home over this trip.

1st (5) (0.62/1 +15%) Hans Andersen |
0.62/1(+15%) | (5) Hans Andersen 0.62/1, Very useful Frankel colt who landed Curragh maiden before second in Futurity Stakes there. Posted another solid effort when fifth in National Stakes at the same track on his final start and sets a high standard.
2nd (1) (2.25/1 +25%) Bold Discovery |
2.25/1(+25%) | (1) Bold Discovery 2.25/1, Naas debut 7f maiden winner before very good 3 lengths third of 11 to Cairo in Killavullan Stakes (7/2) at this course (7f, soft) in October. Open to further progress. Considered.
3rd (2) (5/1 +9%) Carracci |
5/1(+9%) | (2) Carracci 5/1, 9/4, built on debut promise to land 13-runner maiden at Dundalk (7f) in November. Can do better still for his top yard. In the mix.

50/1(+50%) | (4) Eyeeye 50/1, Lightly-raced maiden. Hooded for 1st time, below-form thirteenth of 20 in maiden at Naas (8f, heavy). Off 147 days with lots of work to do. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
HANS ANDERSEN, who was a game second in last year's Futurity Stakes, sets the standard at present and he is taken to make a successful return. A son of Frankel out of an Arcano mare, the mount of Ryan Moore is the ready pick of Aidan O'Brien's two intended runners and will provide a good yardstick towards the early pecking order for the Classics at Ballydoyle. Having finished third in the Killavullan Stakes last autumn, Bold Discovery has C&D experience and is a clear second choice in this company. O'Brien's Carracci is suggested as the best of the rest.
HANS ANDERSEN kept some very good company last autumn after landing a maiden here and is fancied to resume winning ways at the chief expense of Bold Discovery, who should build on his very good third in the Killavullan Stakes here last backend. Dundalk maiden winner Carracci, a stablemate of the selection, is less exposed but open to plenty of improvement and worth considering too.
Despite an indifferent display in the National Stakes HANS ANDERSEN is tipped against Bold Discovery in what looks like a match

2nd (7) (6/1 +33%) Matilda Picotte |
6/1(+33%) | (7) Matilda Picotte 6/1, Useful filly. 10/3, career best when winning 10-runner listed race at Newmarket (6f, good to soft) by 1½ lengths from Queen Olly, finding extra. Speed looks her assest but big form player if as effective over 7f.
3rd (14) (5.5/1 +21%) Zarinsk |
5.5/1(+21%) | (14) Zarinsk 5.5/1, Two wins from 4 runs last year. Career best when winning 11-runner listed race at this course (7f, soft, 9/2) by 2½ lengths from Library, kept up to work. Off 6 months and she could be useful.
4th (6) (8/1 +27%) Madly Truly |
8/1(+27%) | (6) Madly Truly 8/1, Sent off 11/10 following a promising debut and landed 13-runner maiden at Naas (7f, good), all out. In top hands but that form certainly needs improving on for this reappearance.

9/1(-13%) | (2) Dame Kiri 9/1, Progressive form at 2 yrs, winning 8-runner maiden at Naas (5.9f, heavy, 2/7), easily. Off 168 days. Should make a better 3-y-o for top yard.

9th (4) (7/1 +30%) Impact Warrior |
7/1(+30%) | (4) Impact Warrior 7/1, Bred to be useful and strong in the betting, she landed a 5-runner minor event at Roscommon (7.4f, good to soft) on debut, cosily. Off 7 months. Good prospect.
10th (5) (28/1 -12%) La Dolce Vita |

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
NEVER ENDING STORY appeals as just the type to improve at three and the Group 1-placed filly can notch up a 12th win in the event for Aidan O'Brien. One of her main challengers Zarinsk (fourth) was behind her when she landed the Silver Flash over C&D last summer, although Ger Lyons' filly improved to win the Listed Ingabelle Stakes on Irish Champions Weekend. Matilda Picotte was progressive and consistent as a juvenile, and may have more to come over 7f, while this trip could also be a plus for bloodless Naas scorer Dame Kiri. Ocean Quest cannot be ruled out either.
Plenty of potential on show here with TARAWA, who has just a maiden win to her name taken to make a leap forward on reappearance given her pedigree and connections. Aidan O'Brien-trained pair Never Ending Story and Dame Kiri are just a couple of potential threats.
This looks open but NEVER ENDING STORY showed enough in two Group 1 appearances to suggest she can add to a C&D Group 3 success

0.8/1(+0%) | (2) Alexandroupolis 0.8/1, Camelot colt who impressed when making a winning start in 11-runner maiden (17/2) at Galway (8.6f, soft) 6 months ago. Has plnty more to offer now stepping up in trip. Player for yard with excellent record in this event.
4th (5) (18/1 +45%) Serious Challenge |

5th (3) (2.75/1 +0%) Denmark |
2.75/1(+0%) | (3) Denmark 2.75/1, Naas 1m debut scorer before taking his form up a notch when second of 16 in conditions event at Longchamp (8f, soft) in October. Should have more to offer as his stamina is drawn out more. Firmly in the picture.
6th (4) (16/1 +27%) Mohawk Chief |
16/1(+27%) | (4) Mohawk Chief 16/1, 17/2, built on his debut promise when landing 18-runner maiden here (7f, soft) in October. Can do better still now significantly up in trip. One to consider. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
Aidan O'Brien fields a quality trio in his bid for a remarkable 12th winner of this race, with ALEXANDROUPOLIS, a leading ante-post fancy for the English Derby, a likely candidate to enhance the statistics. The once-raced son of Camelot comfortably landed a Galway maiden, beating a stablemate who was subsequently second in the Group 1 Criterium International at Saint-Cloud. The form is rock-solid and he is first to note ahead of classy Ballydoyle companions Mohawk Chief and Denmark. A strong threat is also posed by Alder, who aims to secure back-to-back successes in this contest for Donnacha O'Brien.
Aidan O'Brien has farmed this Group 3 in recent years and his highly promising Camelot colt ALEXANDROUPOLIS looks the way to go on the back of an impressive debut success at Galway in the autumn. Stablemate Denmark has more experience and could prove the chief threat, although both Alder and White Birch have better days ahead of them and can have a say too in a fascinating contest.
Ryan Moore's mount ALEXANDROUPOLIS looked smart when winning a Galway maiden on soft ground and can boost his Derby claims

33/1(+50%) | (10) Donbeg Reel 33/1, Thrice-raced maiden. Good fifth in Curragh maiden on debut but took backwards steps both starts subsequently. Off 135 days. Up in trip. Makes handicap debut. Needs a couple of these to falter. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
PULSE LIGHT has a nice weight in this with Siobhan Rutledge taking 5lb off his back. The Dragon Pulse gelding stayed on well to finish third on a recent outing at Dundalk, over a mile, and looked like he would appreciate stepping up to this trip. He also seemed to handle testing conditions when fourth at Thurles last October so ticks a lot of boxes. Ballydoyle filly Starry Eyed commands plenty of respect on her handicap debut off an attractive looking mark of 82. She had three solid runs in maidens last season, including on heavy ground at the Curragh. Aurifodina won here over a mile last October, with plenty of cut in the ground, and she looks another for the shortlist. She is just a pound higher than when a good second here on her most recent start in October.
A highly-competitive three-year-old handicap. DUBAWI SPECTRE was overhauled only late by Autocrat at Dundalk last time and a chance is taken that the slightly shorter trip and small swing in the weights could help Jessica Harrington's gelding turn the tables. Teutates will need to learn to race more efficiently but looks open to significant progress, with Aurifodina also considered.
Loads of these have squeaks but a chance is taken on PULSE LIGHT for the in-form Noel Meade yard, despite his wide draw.

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
Paul Flynn said he was going to target a race at Leopardstown with CHEERS AGAIN after his most recent win at Dundalk and there could be a bit more to come from the Mukhadram gelding despite a couple of hikes for his wins on the all-weather. He won with plenty in hand when scoring twice on the polytrack over the winter and despite a 19lb rise for his last win he's fancied to go in again. Robert Whearty takes a useful 7lb off his back now. Dunum was in terrific form last season, winning four on the bounce before finishing up with a good runner-up effort at the Curragh. He is only a pound higher than when last seen and has to be respected. Lord Vader was picked up cheaply at the sales last summer by Emmet Mullins and market moves for the Ulysses gelding would be interesting.
This has a very open look to it but PRINCESS RAJJ looks ready for 1m and back on her last winning mark, she's certainly weighted to strike. A 6-month absence asks a question but she's in very good hands so she gets the vote in favour of Dunum and Cheers Again.
Having run a stormer in the Irish Lincoln a week ago, COMFORT LINE is taking a drop in class here and can claim this.

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
LEABALAND was narrowly denied on his most recent start at Dundalk and looks capable of winning again off this kind of mark. The Cappella Sansevero gelding lost out by a head in a tight finish last time and is only a couple of pounds higher now. He has winning form in soft ground in the past so looks fairly versatile that way. Purple Gown ran a big race when second to Razdan on her return to action at the Curragh last weekend and looks a danger here despite a 6lb rise for that effort. Lauroline has been knocking on the door in all-weather maidens and is on a fair mark now trying handicap company. A lot of her sire's progeny handle soft ground well.
KHATTAAT bounced back to form when runner-up at Dundalk last time, with the winner Chazzesmee scoring again since, so the 4-y-o can build on that effort to open his account with Colin Keane booked for the ride. Notforalongtime has been holding his form well and is feared most, ahead of Purple Gown.
Having faced an impossible task against a now 92-rated rival last time, KHATTAAT won't have a rival of that calibre to beat today.
Ths is the racecard key.
