12:10 Leicester Handicap Chase (Class 4) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Having scored comfortably over 3m under today's rider at Wetherby on Wednesday, EAST STREET is an obvious starting point turned out under a 7lb penalty with the drop back down to 2m4f only a slight concern. Swapping cheekpieces for a visor seemed to perk him up on that occasion and, assuming he shows the same zest, the James Owen-trained gelding could be hard to beat. The hat-trick seeking Nickelforce is feared most, although Fire Dancer enters calculations with his yard in excellent form.

NICKELFORCE is going the right way over fences and can complete his hat-trick in the opener. Recent Wetherby winner East Street has a shorter trip to contend with here but is still much respected.

With further improvement a clear possibility, NICKELFORCE gets the vote. Fire Dancer and East Street are respected.

12:40 Leicester Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

MORNING AIR handled heavy ground when she won over 1m2f on the Flat in France and, as a half-sister to a winner in this discipline, there is a lot to like as she gets a 7lb fillies allowance on her first start for the in-form Venetia Williams yard. Belcamo was a promising second on his hurdles debut at Fontwell last month and should also be a key player. Roi De Baviere can go well if building on a respectable hurdles bow at Newcastle.

MORNING AIR possessed her share of ability on the level in France and having transferred to a successful yard, she could well be up to the task at the first attempt over hurdles in receipt of weight from all. Belcamo's opening effort in this sphere was encouraging so he's an obvious threat, along with Mach Ten.

Ex-French MORNING AIR holds leading claims provided her Flat ability is transferred to this code. Belcamo is second choice.

13:15 Leicester Handicap Chase (Class 4) 23f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

GETBAZOUTOFHERE returned from a break to register her second win over fences at Hereford last month and has to be of serious interest off just 6lb higher. There are several dangers, though, and the likes of Gazette Bourgeoise and Kit's Coty are both capable of making the selection pull out all the stops if they handle the forecast ground conditions. Chasing debutant Kosasiempre can also figure if she takes a shine to the larger obstacles at the first time of asking.

KIT'S COTY matched the pick of her hurdles form sent chasing when a close third at Ludlow on return and gets the vote off the same mark. Hat-trick seeking Getbazoutofhere and chase-debutante Kosasiempre are feared most.

On the back of a very solid effort, KIT'S COTY (nap) looks the one to side with. Gazette Bourgeoise is second pick.

13:45 Leicester Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

HARA KIRI showed no ill-effects when returning from a long absence last season, improving on a C&D third to win both subsequent outings at Market Rasen and Ludlow. The handicapper put him up 2lb for the latest of those wins and it wouldn't be a surprise if the seven-year-old hasn't reached his ceiling of ability yet. Double Click showed a fair level of form earlier in the year and conditions are unlikely to be an issue, while Activist has to be respected too.

This looks a pretty warm race for the grade with HARA KIRI narrowly selected to pick up where he left off 9 months ago and complete the hat-trick with his yard continuing in good order. Kuzco rates a likely improver now handicapping and he needs monitoring in the betting for positive vibes. Double Click, for the in-form Jamie Snowden yard, and Activist complete the dangers.

Back down in distance off an attractive mark, SNAPIUS is preferred. Interesting handicap debutant Kuzco is second choice.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

INDEEVAR BLEU looked a potentially smart prospect when winning his bumper at Wetherby in March 2023 before not fulfilling that promise on his only run over hurdles at Ayr last November against some useful types. Returning from over a year off the track, Olly Murphy's gelding has been found the ideal opportunity to open his account over timber. Sonification is expected to step forward from his Uttoxeter run, given that was his first for almost two years, and he is respected along with Stratford bumper runner-up Scene Stealer.

INDEEVAR BLEU shaped well on hurdling debut and has the scope for a good deal of improvement based on bumper exploits, so he's a straightforward choice despite having to overcome a 13-month absence. Sonifaction is the main threat.

Indeevar Bleu warrants respect despite the lengthy absence. SONIFICATION is the other main contender on hurdles form.

14:50 Leicester Handicap Chase (Class 5) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

LUNAR OCEAN lost little in defeat when finding only a subsequent winner too strong at Huntingdon last month and a breakthrough victory could be on the cards. A 2lb rise looks more than workable for Billy Aprahamian's gelding and he should take all the beating if coping with softer ground conditions. Libor Lad was too bad to be true when pulled up at Bangor in October and this right-handed track should see him in a better light given the six-year-old's inclination to jump that way. Market support for chase/handicap debutant Jumper Madrik would be interesting.

JAC JUMPER failed to see out the longer trip at Huntingdon 4 weeks ago so is well worth another chance back down in class. Libor Lad is worth another chance to confirm chase debut promise so is next best ahead of the quirky Lunar Ocean.

In-form maiden LUNAR OCEAN looks a particularly solid contender on recent efforts. Jac Jumper is second choice.

15:20 Leicester Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

NEAR DARK seemed to appreciate making the running when third on her only start for Henry Daly at Uttoxeter in June and similar tactics on her handicap debut might see the eight-year-old gain a first success under Rules. Barra Blue showed ability in a couple of bumpers and has to be of interest along with recent Plumpton second Gaia Vallis.

BARRA BLUE has shown minimal promise over hurdles to date but she's up in trip for handicap debut and, based on her hurdling debut, she's potentially thrown in off a mark of 85. She's preferred to the in-form but more exposed Gaia Vallis, while Near Dark is another one to note having her first go in handicaps.

Handicap debutantes Barra Blue and Near Dark are interesting. GAIA VALLIS is far more exposed but she's respected on form.
