17:15 Kempton Stakes (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

JAKARTA stepped forward from her first run at Newmarket when shedding the maiden tag at Goodwood in May and it would be no surprise if Paul and Oliver Cole's filly were able to back up under a penalty. Modern Utopia shaped with promise when fourth on her first outing at Carlisle and is expected to be sharper on this occasion, while Loch Leven is another with viable claims after her Haydock debut.

JAKARTA proved a different proposition with her debut effort under her belt when making all in a 12-runner Goodwood maiden 6 weeks ago. Still displaying signs of inexperience then, she promises to do better still and may well be up to defying a penalty. Modern Utopia and Loch Leven can provide chief resistance.

Jakarta isn't taken on lightly but MODERN UTOPIA could take a big step forward from her promising debut effort.

17:50 Kempton Stakes (Class 5) 11f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

The Gosdens saddle two interesting contenders with Juneberry and Place Of Safety. The former, who now sports cheekpieces for the first time, has built on her sole juvenile effort in two starts this season, while the latter is expected to step forward after a solid enough beginning when fourth at Newbury in May. The vote, though, goes to EVERYWHERE. Sir Michael Stoute's filly improved for stepping up in trip when third at Lingfield and the daughter of Galileo is likely to have more to offer.

PLACE OF SAFETY made a promising start when fourth at Newbury so is fancied to build on it and open her account at the chief expense of Lingfield third Everywhere who also looks to have more to offer. Domaine des Combes, Juneberry and Muqinah are others who need considering in this fair novice.

There are potential improvers galore in this field but chief amongst them looks to be PLACE OF SAFETY.

18:25 Kempton Stakes (Class 5) 11f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

CONSUELO is bred to stay well, being out of a two-time Group 3 winner over 1m4f, and Ralph Beckett's filly unsurprisingly took a step in the right direction when upped to 1m2f at Haydock on her return to action last month. The extra distance on this occasion should unlock further progression and she is expected to come out on top. La Cadalora wears a hood following her debut here in November when racing keenly in the early stages and her pedigree offers hope that going up in distance will aid her cause. Falsetto and Russian Crescendo are a pair of interesting newcomers who warrant a market check.

CONSUELO took a sizeable step forward from her debut run last winter when third in a Haydock maiden (10.2f) 4 weeks ago and, very much the type to go on improving as her stamina is drawn out, she earns the vote to come out on top. La Cadalora and newcomer Russian Crescendo are just a couple of others to consider in a race that looks sure to throw up winners.

La Cadalora looks a likely big improver this season but CONSUELO has the benefit of a run this year and she is preferred this time.

19:00 Kempton Handicap (Class 4) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

INDEMNITY could give weight and a beating to these rivals. He certainly wasn't winning out of turn when opening his account in maiden company at Nottingham three weeks ago and may kick on with that confidence booster under his belt. Sudden Ambush drops in class and makes plenty of appeal returning to a venue where his record currently stands at one from one, while Salisbury scorer Pumalin Park also merits consideration.

INDEMNITY marked himself down as well treated when a smooth-travelling second in a Leicester handicap in May and subsequently opened his account in ready fashion at Newmarket, so he's fancied to get the better of Pumalin Park, another relatively unexposed sort from a top yard. Sudden Ambush is the best of the remainder.

Things clicked for the Sir Michael Stoute-trained PUMALIN PARK at Salisbury and this lightly raced 4yo can continue to progress.

19:35 Kempton Handicap (Class 3) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

CRACKSKING had The Goat (second), Global Heat (fifth) and Gooloogong (eighth) all behind when scoring readily over C&D last month and a 5lb rise in the ratings probably won't be enough to anchor him if arriving in the same mood. The Goat, up 1lb for his efforts that day, could be the main challenger again, although Ludo's Landing also warrants plenty of respect competing from the foot of the weights.

CRACKSKING built on previous promise this term when running out a good winner of a C&D handicap 4 weeks ago, nicely on top at the line from the re-opposing The Goat. A 5 lb rise may not be enough to anchor him and he can confirm placings over his old rival. Ludo's Landing and Way of Life are others that need factoring in.

Cracksking is on the up, while Ludo's Landing is ahead of the handicapper, but this can go the way of SIMPLY SONDHEIM.

20:10 Kempton Handicap (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

CALL TIME got up for second in the final strides over an extended 5f at Bath on his latest outing, so this step back up in trip off a 1lb higher mark looks a good move. The son of Soldier's Call makes only his third handicap start and he ought to go close from a handy draw. The main threat might be Heathcliff, who made a winning handicap debut over 7f here in April. He is an interesting contender down in trip off 3lb higher, while Rebel Empire cannot be ruled out either.

HEATHCLIFF got off the mark over 7f here last time and with that form proving strong he is taken to defy a 3 lb rise and follow up. The handily-weighted Horse Whisperer could emerge as the main threat to James Fanshawe's top weight, with Call Time, Stanley Spencer and Crafty Spirit also in the mix.

Stanley Spencer should go well down in class but HEATHCLIFF (nap) did well to win here in April and can make it 2-2 in handicaps.

20:45 Kempton Handicap (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

AL AMEEN could only manage fifth in this grade over 7f at Wolverhampton last month, but he is 1lb lower tonight and the drop in trip could aid his cause. James Fanshawe's five-year-old produced a fair effort when fifth over C&D off a 7lb higher rating in April and he looks the way to go. Glamorous Express had One More Wave (sixth) behind when third over track and trip on his penultimate start and he can confirm that form to have a say, while Lilkian is a two-time C&D winner and he completes the shortlist.

AL AMEEN has won here in the past and his latest fifth at Wolverhampton was a positive step having dropped in the weights, so he's worth a chance to land this open-looking handicap with blinkers re-applied. Habooba is of interest back on AW and One More Wave isn't without hope.

Al Ameen and GLAMOROUS EXPRESS appeal most. The selection shaped well over C&D in May in a stronger race.
