![]() J J Moon |
(4) 5/4(+0%) | (4) J J Moon 5/4, Much improved when making third bumper start a winning one at Southwell in May. Easily best effort over hurdles when just denied at Wincanton 6 weeks ago and sets a clear standard. Proved resurgent at Wincanton last time, finishing a close second; leading contender. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Ben Solo |
(1) 5/2(+9%) | (1) Ben Solo 5/2, Irish point winner who was placed in the first of 2 bumpers last season and made a successful start to his hurdle career in a 2m Chepstow novice in October. Built on that at the second attempt when runner-up at Ffos Las last month and respected under a penalty. Hurdles form includes a win at Chepstow and good second at Ffos Las; major player. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Libre De Choeur |
(5) 3/1(+10%) | (5) Libre De Choeur 3/1, Finished third on sole start in points and posted a fairly promising first effort under Rules when third of 11 in novice hurdle (16/1) at Warwick (21f, soft) on NH debut 46 days ago. Entitled to progress and considered. Third in Irish point and Warwick maiden hurdle; holds solid place claims. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Pragnell |
(7) 8/1(+11%) | (7) Pragnell 8/1, £65,000 4-y-o, Diamond Boy gelding. Half-brother to fairly useful hurdler West Away. Dam bumper winner/made frame once in maiden hurdles. Won sole start in points (Mar 2023) and interesting to see what the market makes of him. Absent since winning debut in British point in March 2023; market instructive. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Grenardier |
(3) 33/1(+18%) | (3) Grenardier 33/1, Little impact in a couple of bumpers and similar story in pair of maiden/novice hurdles upon returning to action this winter. Handicaps will be more his bag after this. Likely to be more interesting in handicaps shortly. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Cornish Comedy |
(2) 50/1(+0%) | (2) Cornish Comedy 50/1, Never a threat in bumper (for Mel Rowley) and novice hurdle 9 months apart. Lot to find on form; second hurdles attempt. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Pay The Tab |
(6) 50/1(+24%) | (6) Pay The Tab 50/1, Fair form standout effort in bumpers but took little interest when pulled on Downpatrick hurdle debut. Has left Gordon Elliott and percentage call is to look elsewhere. Far from solid on his Irish form for Gordon Elliott. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Shorten Sassy |
(9) 50/1(+24%) | (9) Shorten Sassy 50/1, Telescope filly. Dam (h120), hurdle winner around 3m, half-sister to useful hurdler/fairly useful chase winner (stays 3m) Copper Coin. Looked green when unseating rider early doors at Ludlow on debut. Hesitant at the first two flights in Ludlow event, unseating rider at the second. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Sister Marguerite |
(10) 66/1(+0%) | (10) Sister Marguerite 66/1, Dylan Thomas mare. Runner-up only outing in Irish points in May 2023 but was well held both starts under Rules this season. Holds poor claims on her two hurdles efforts. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Minneigh Mozze |
(8) 100/1(+50%) | (8) Minneigh Mozze 100/1, Unconvincing profile, pulled up when last seen at Newton Abbot in July and returns in first-time tongue tie having re-joined former stable. Fitting of tongue-tie needs to make a big difference. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
J J MOON produced his best effort to date over timber when runner-up at Wincanton last month and a replication of that display might see the six-year-old go one better. Ben Solo has the ability to be competitive and any rain in the forecast would further enhance his credentials, while Libre De Choeur shaped well on his hurdling debut at Warwick and is open to improvement.
J J MOON ran much his best race to date over hurdles when going close at Wincanton 6 weeks ago and should take the beating on that form. Libre de Choeur made a decent start when third at Warwick and is next best ahead of the penalised Ben Solo.
Having bounced back last time, J J MOON could well build on that effort and open his hurdles account. Ben Solo is second choice.

![]() Rath Gaul Hill |
(1) 11/8(+27%) | (1) Rath Gaul Hill 11/8, Ended last season in fine heart, proving 1¼ lengths too strong for Duhallow Tommy at Newbury prior to following up in a 16.5f handicap at Ayr's Scottish National meeting. Up total of 11 lb for that brace and more needed back from a 9-month break but, on the upside, he still has low mileage. Absent since completing 2m double last spring; now 3-4 over this trip; major player. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Duhallow Tommy |
(2) 7/4(+0%) | (2) Duhallow Tommy 7/4, Proved to be a different proposition switched to fences following a wind op last term, winning 3 times (at up to 19.8f, all at Plumpton) before finishing a good second to Rath Gaul Hill at Newbury. Now 10 lb better off with that rival and has performed with credit both starts so far this season. Better off with Rath Gaul Hill on Newbury running last March; solid effort last time. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Famoso |
(4) 7/2(-17%) | (4) Famoso 7/2, Registered second success over this C&D in November (also runner-up 3 times here), which proved to be the first-leg of a hat-trick. Below par back here on latest start but that race may have come too soon (just 3 days after scoring at Ludlow) and he may well bounce back with a bold show. Had a possible excuse here last month when bidding for four-timer; not written off. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Cat Tiger |
(3) 12/1(+0%) | (3) Cat Tiger 12/1, Useful chaser at best but below par both starts since rejoining former yard, including with first-time cheekpieces enlisted (retained here) at Lingfield latest. Sole success over a trip shy of 2½m was gained back in 2018 and he will almost certainly find things happening too quickly returned to 2m. Veteran who seemingly isn't the force of old; on a three-year losing spell. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
Connections appeared to find the key to RATH GAUL HILL at the end of last season with a drop back to 2m seeing him record back-to-back victories at Newbury and Ayr. The seven-year-old remains unexposed over this distance and it wouldn't be a major surprise if he could improve further. Duhallow Tommy chased home the selection at Newbury and has performed with credit on both outings this season, while Famoso can beat Cat Tiger for third.
The vote goes to DUHALLOW TOMMY, who chased home the progressive Hasthing (winner again since) over 20.2f at Windsor last month. He is likely to benefit from this drop back in trip and he meets the hat-trick seeking Rath Gaul Hill on significantly better terms compared to when beaten 1¼ lengths by that rival at Newbury last spring. The latter should make his presence felt all the same but the selection may have most to fear from Famoso, who boasts a good record round here.
Armed with a 10lb pull, DUHALLOW TOMMY (nap) could well reverse Newbury placings with Rath Gaul Hill who is nevertheless respected.

![]() Moulins Clermont |
(5) 5/2(+17%) | (5) Moulins Clermont 5/2, A fairly useful winner over hurdles in 2022. Off almost 2 years before coming in last on chase debut at Newbury in November but took a major step forward when second there last month, looking a big threat to winner but perhaps still just needing the run after such a long absence. Can go well again. Solid effort at Newbury last month; possibilities off same mark in this similar event. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() El Rio |
(1) 11/4(+17%) | (1) El Rio 11/4, Low-mileage 7-y-o who has won a pair of handicap chases around 2½m this autumn, impressing with his accurate jumping at Sandown. Good third at Kempton since and remains of interest. Ran well at Kempton on Boxing Day when bidding for a hat-trick; may do better still. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Don't Tell Su |
(3) 3/1(-9%) | (3) Don't Tell Su 3/1, Bumper winner. Bright start over hurdles last season, completing simple task in a Wincanton maiden (15.2f) in March. Returned with good runner-up efforts at Sandown and Warwick and will make a chaser. Form figures of 222 in handicap hurdles; likely player, provided he takes to chasing. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Leave Of Absence |
(2) 10/3(+0%) | (2) Leave Of Absence 10/3, Looked a smart prospect in bumpers and a novice hurdle for Chris Gordon in 2022. Showed he retains plenty of ability back from a long absence when second to Iberico Lord in 2-finisher Kempton maiden chase (2¼m) 9 weeks ago and likely player on handicap bow. Lightly raced; ran encouragingly at Kempton two months ago; may build on that effort. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Gyenyame |
(4) 12/1(+25%) | (4) Gyenyame 12/1, Fairly useful Flat/hurdles winner who has the size to make a chaser and built on his debut over fences when off the mark easily at Exeter in November. Beaten 24 lengths when third in a Wincanton handicap since, though. Blinkered first time. Won weak race at Exeter; laboured effort last time and now goes in blinkers. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.
LEAVE OF ABSENCE showed a good attitude when runner-up to Iberico Lord at Kempton in November, returning from over two years off the track. Given enough time to recover, Anthony Honeyball's gelding is likely to appreciate a step up in trip and can prove a cut above the opposition. El Rio is respected following his third at Kempton on Boxing Day, while Don't Tell Su was a useful type over hurdles and is likely to progress further over the larger obstacles.
MOULINS CLERMONT proved a completely different proposition on his second attempt over fences after an absence when second at Newbury and should come on again. He gets the vote over the progressive El Rio and chase-debutant Don't Tell Su.
Most of the runners hold solid-looking claims. The percentage call goes to MOULINS CLERMONT, ahead of Don't Tell Su.

![]() Clap Of Thunder |
(7) 4/1(+0%) | (7) Clap Of Thunder 4/1, Placed on 3 of 4 starts in bumpers last season. Struck in a 2m Ascot novice in November and shaped better when result when fifth of 15 in 2m Cheltenham handicap a fortnight later. Too keen when third at Chepstow last month and he could be a big player here if first-time hood has the desired effect. Novice hurdler who has largely consistent form; solid claims in first-time hood. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Hms President |
(2) 11/2(-57%) | (2) Hms President 11/2, Useful handicapper on Flat and has looked equally capable in this sphere, built on facile maiden hurdle success at Kempton when second of 10 in a novice hurdle at Huntingdon (15.8f, heavy) 50 days ago. Lightly-raced over obstacles and open to more improvement. Record of 212 over hurdles; well treated judged on useful Flat form; respected. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Wasthatok |
(10) 6/1(+29%) | (10) Wasthatok 6/1, Final run for Gavin Cromwell a creditable second behind a then progressive sort in a Market Rasen novice hurdle in August 2023. Well-backed in first-time tongue-tie on chase debut for new yard in January 2024 but failed to fire. Notable that stable jockey rides and interesting if he's well-backed. Absent since a poor effort on this card 12 months ago (chase/stable debut). |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Manuelito |
(3) 6/1(+25%) | (3) Manuelito 6/1, Fair maiden on the Flat for Richard Hannon and improved with each of his 4 starts over hurdles for previous connections (formerly with David Pipe) prior to very disappointing effort when pulling up at Market Rasen 175 days ago. One to note in the market making comeback for new and in-form yard. Progressive over hurdles for David Pipe until something looked amiss last time. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Black Hawk Eagle |
(5) 6/1(+33%) | (5) Black Hawk Eagle 6/1, Fairly useful Flat/hurdles winner for Noel Meade, landed 2m handicaps at Wincanton and over C&D for new handler last winter. Couple of decent placed efforts this year but outclassed in a premier handicap last month. Not ruled out down in grade but interesting stable jockey rides yard's other runner. Sole attempt at Hereford resulted in a comfortable success in this race last year. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Imaginarium |
(11) 8/1(+0%) | (11) Imaginarium 8/1, Useful Irish 9f winner on Flat for Ger Lyons and made a successful start over hurdles on his sole start for Lucinda Russell in May (Perth, 2m). Stiff task at Cheltenham starting out for this yard and then a below-par run on final qualifying run. Could do better now handicapping with yard going well. Not solid on last two efforts but opening mark is handy judged on Irish Flat form. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Maxcel |
(6) 12/1(+25%) | (6) Maxcel 12/1, Clearly been hard to train but has won 4 races for this yard, including a pair of handicaps last summer, but season finished with a whimper when well-beaten at Market Rasen (16.6f) in July and bit of a concern that we haven't seen him since. Record of 3-5 in handicaps; absent since well held in better race six months ago. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Luttrell Lad |
(4) 12/1(-50%) | (4) Luttrell Lad 12/1, Scored at Cartmel in July 2023. Some quieter runs at the back of last-term / start of this season has seen his rating dip 2 lb below his latest winning mark and has to be of interest now having showed more when a decent fourth of 8 at Southwell (15.8f, soft) at the beginning of the month. Remains well treated on peak form; second off 9lb higher in sole Hereford run. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Anyharminasking |
(1) 14/1(+0%) | (1) Anyharminasking 14/1, Poor runs last twice, pulled up in a handicap hurdle at Southwell (15.8f, heavy, 12/1) 26 days ago. Arrives here on the back of a near 3-year losing streak and best to look elsewhere for win purposes. On a three-year losing spell and has regressive form this term. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Holly |
(8) 14/1(+13%) | (8) Holly 14/1, Best efforts have come over smaller obstacles, but disappointing on return to hurdles when last of 12 in a handicap hurdle at Cheltenham (20.2f, good to soft) 28 days ago, raced keenly and one paced in home straight. Dropped 4 lb for that effort and may be inching towards a workable handicap mark. This drop back in trip/grade is suitable and mark is workable. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Maasai Mara |
(9) 20/1(+20%) | (9) Maasai Mara 20/1, Fairly useful on Flat and hurdles winner at Catterick (2m, soft) in February. Has refused over obstacles and missed break/shown awkward head carriage on Flat. Down 5 lb for below-form third of 4 here (19.7f), down in trip today but seems as if his temperament is hindering his talent at present. Refused to race once; has consistent form at Hereford; could go well. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.
Maxcel failed to complete a hat-trick when well beaten in a stronger event at Market Rasen last July, but he is an interesting contender on his seasonal return. However, HMS PRESIDENT gets the nod. Alan King's eight-year-old justified short odds at Kempton before hitting the crossbar at Huntingdon next time and he now makes his first start in a handicap in this sphere. Black Hawk Eagle is next best.
A competitive enough handicap and this can go to CLAP OF THUNDER who caught the eye when fifth in a decent Cheltenham handicap on his penultimate run. He was too keen last time and with a hood to help him relax, he's expected to relish this sharper test. Luttrell Lad is back down to an appealing handicap mark and could be a big danger having shown more last time. Kerry Lee saddles two interesting runners, and it could be significant that Richard Patrick has chosen to ride Wasthatok.
Last year's winner BLACK HAWK EAGLE is first choice ahead of HMS President, Imaginarium and Clap Of Thunder.

![]() Famous Clermont |
(1) 9/4(+0%) | (1) Famous Clermont 9/4, Useful chaser who shaped vastly better than the bare result when seventh in Champion Hunters Chase at Punchestown before readily landing a lesser race at Stratford 8 months ago. Is the class act in this field and makes most appeal. One of the best hunter chases in 2023; not quite so good in 2024 but still respected. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Jet Plane |
(2) 4/1(+0%) | (2) Jet Plane 4/1, Back-to-back winner of handicap chases at Sandown and Market Rasen last spring, and positive start to this season when third of 8 at Wetherby in October. Shouldn't be judged too harshly on latest effort at Kempton during the Christmas period and he's a key player on this hunter debut. Useful handicapper; inconsistent, but a danger to all if on song for hunter chase debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Joker De Mai |
(3) 9/2(-29%) | (3) Joker De Mai 9/2, Useful chaser in France and also landed 2m3f handicap hurdle at Lingfield for his new yard last winter. Has held form since and travelled well for a long way when third in a hunter at Taunton on casing debut last time. Worthy of interest. Consistent over hurdles last season and a respectable third in a recent hunter chase. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Take All |
(5) 7/1(+0%) | (5) Take All 7/1, Fairly useful chaser. 28/1, first run since leaving John Joseph Hanlon when second of 9 in hunter chase at Taunton (21.7f, soft) 19 days ago. Can make his presence felt again if he's in the same form. Useful when based in Ireland and kept on for second on recent hunter chase debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Percussion |
(8) 8/1(+20%) | (8) Percussion 8/1, On a lengthy losing run but he ran right up to form when second from out of the weights in the Summer Cup at Uttoxeter in June. Not at best in good handicaps since but this looks a bit easier. Didn't run badly in good-quality Haydock handicap last month; good chance here. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Willewonga |
(6) 12/1(+25%) | (6) Willewonga 12/1, Successful in a maiden hunter at Cartmel when last seen under Rules and has a good record in points, albeit he unseated last time. Has a fair bit to find on form. 5-19 in points; comfortably won modest hunter chase last May but others look stronger. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() One True King |
(4) 14/1(+13%) | (4) One True King 14/1, Dual handicap winner for Nigel Twiston-Davies last season and not disgraced between the flags last time. Could make an impact if his jumping holds up. Safely held when making the frame in two open points last month; more needed here. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Solomon Grey |
(11) 20/1(+0%) | (11) Solomon Grey 20/1, Back-to-back hunter winner in April 2022 but hasn't tasted success since and this 13-y-o is opposable. Quite useful hunter chaser in 2022 and 2023; not at same level in 2024 and now a teenager. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Upton Road |
(12) 25/1(+0%) | (12) Upton Road 25/1, Irish point winner who remains a maiden under Rules. Hasn't been seen for almost 2 years and others make more appeal. Fair handicapper in 2022-23 (C&D second); makes hunter chase debut after long absence. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Drakes Well |
(7) 25/1(+24%) | (7) Drakes Well 25/1, Fair hurdler. 11/2, respectable third of 8 in hunter chase at Stratford (20.9f, good to soft). Off 8 months and has plenty to find with some of these rivals. Placed in handicap hunter chase on latest outing in May but faces a tough task here. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Scoresby |
(9) 33/1(+0%) | (9) Scoresby 33/1, Point winner (dead-heated) in March, but well held in a couple of bumpers (for Christian Williams) and has shown little to date over hurdles. Multiple point winner since but latest effort wasn't great. Won three points last year but makes rules debut in a strong race and has fitness to prove. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Shang Tang |
(10) 50/1(-25%) | (10) Shang Tang 50/1, Fairly useful chaser who produced his best effort since joining this yard when second in a 5-runner affair at Ludlow (23.8f, soft) in February. Disappointed since and others are preferabele. Safely held when 33-1 third in eventful edition of this race a year ago. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
FAMOUS CLERMONT went in by three lengths in a deeper contest than this at Stratford last May and this looks a good starting point. If the veteran retains that same enthusiasm, he will prove very hard to beat. Take All accounted for Joker De Mai (third) when filling the runner-up spot at Taunton earlier in the month and can confirm his authority over that rival. Jet Plane is the pick of the remainder.
FAMOUS CLERMONT is a veteran now but he showed there's plenty of life in him when last seen and he's worth a chance to make a winning return for all that Joker de Mai arrives on the back of a positive start to chasing. Jet Plane is another one to consider having his first go in this sphere.
Preference is for PERCUSSION, who ran well before tiring in a 3m1f Haydock slog last month and ought to find this race easier.

![]() Drash On Ruby |
(10) 5/1(+0%) | (10) Drash On Ruby 5/1, Yet to win a race but shaped better than the bare result after 9 weeks off when third of 11 in a handicap hurdle at Exeter (21.6f, heavy), travelled well but made shuddering error 3 out. Clearly on a workable mark and could make amends here. Third at Exeter this month, despite bad jumping error, and remains on a good mark. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() State Of Fame |
(4) 6/1(+0%) | (4) State Of Fame 6/1, Best run for this yard when third of 16 in a first-time visor 9 days ago (Taunton, 19f), finishing to good effect under today's conditional jockey. Solid claims again. Creditable third of 16 at Taunton (2m3f) last week; today's longer trip will suit. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Sparkling Duke |
(8) 7/1(+13%) | (8) Sparkling Duke 7/1, Best effort in handicaps when fourth of 18 at Chepstow (19.5f, good to soft) in November, probably didn't see out the longer distance when third of 10 in handicap hurdle (4/1) at Wincanton (24.7f, heavy) 53 days ago and this trip may suit better. Placed twice at end of last year (2m3f/3m); today's trip could be ideal for him. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Hellfire Princess |
(9) 7/1(+13%) | (9) Hellfire Princess 7/1, Twice a winner here, latest a hard-fought victory, digging deep to land a 15-runner handicap hurdle this time last year. Slight step up in trip shouldn't be a concern and market should tell us if he's ready to roll after a year-long absence. 2m3f course winner just over a year ago; resumes on 8lb higher mark. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Nollyador |
(5) 8/1(-7%) | (5) Nollyador 8/1, Fair placed form in bumpers in 2021/22 but only modest form in maiden/novice hurdles in the 2022/23 season. Made handicap debut after nearly 2 years off, third of 8 in a handicap hurdle at Huntingdon (20.7f, heavy) proving he retains ability. Had a hard enough race but claims if he can back that up. Placed on last month's handicap debut, following a long absence, and remains unexposed. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Activist |
(1) 8/1(+0%) | (1) Activist 8/1, Latest win in hurdle at Leicester in November but could not follow it up when sixth of 9 there 15.5f, heavy) last month, Blinkers back on when fourth of 10 at this venue 12 days ago, outpaced and kept on late. Up in trip but doesn't appear to have much in hand off his current mark. Won three times in 2024 and began this year with a good effort here; one to consider. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Rock Hurley |
(3) 8/1(+0%) | (3) Rock Hurley 8/1, Won pair of 4-y-o hurdles in France but hasn't reached those heights for current connections. Step in the right direction when third of 8 in a handicap hurdle at Bangor (19.6f, heavy) 45 days ago and has scope to be competitive off this mark. Generally disappointing in Britain but was placed off his much-reduced mark last month. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Sangiovese |
(6) 8/1(+0%) | (6) Sangiovese 8/1, Won a novice handicap hurdle this time last year and although runner-up twice since, he's been making hard work of it, not travelling fluently. Lightly raced so further progress couldn't be ruled out on comeback, however he clearly has his own ideas about the game and others preferred today. In good form in early part of last year but tends to race lazily and has fitness to prove. |

![]() Ted's Friend |
(2) 10/1(+29%) | (2) Ted's Friend 10/1, Running with credit of late, third of 10 in handicap hurdle at this venue (21.7f, good) in November and chased home a less-exposed rival when second at Fakenham (23.4f) on New Year's Day. Will be ridden positively back down in trip and could hit the frame again. Largely consistent 9yo; likely contender if ground is no worse than good to soft. |

![]() Jack The Savage |
(7) 12/1(-9%) | (7) Jack The Savage 12/1, Well-supported when second here in November, although the race did fall apart a bit. Has every chance in first-time cheekpieces when fourth of 6 in handicap hurdle (7/2) at Huntingdon (20.7f, good) 76 days ago, one-paced. Has finished second on both runs here and each-way claims again here. 1-14 over hurdles; good second here two starts ago but overall record not persuasive. |

![]() Musique De Fee |
(11) 20/1(+0%) | (11) Musique De Fee 20/1, Probably needed the run on her recent comeback at Wincanton but failed to come on for that when pulled-up at Chepstow 82 days ago. Needs to bounce back from that disappointing effort. Needs to bounce back from a poor run but current mark is workable and Sean Bowen rides. |

![]() Beaufort Breeze |
(12) 20/1(+0%) | (12) Beaufort Breeze 20/1, Irish point winner but big prices and well-beaten in 3 maiden hurdles for current yard. Up in trip on handicap debut and hard to recommend unless significant market support arrives. Well beaten in his three qualifying races but worth a glance in the betting today. |

![]() Trudie Glen |
(13) 66/1(+0%) | (13) Trudie Glen 66/1, Showed something to work with in bumpers/maiden hurdles for Dan Skelton but since left that yard and pulled-up on debut for new connections. Up in trip wearing first-time hood and tongue-tie for handicap debut but difficult to make a strong case for. Pulled up when 50-1 for stable/handicap debut; sports new headgear here. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
State Of Fame made the frame in this grade at Taunton on his latest outing and it would be no surprise to see him play a leading role off only 1lb higher. However, it may pay to side with NOLLYADOR, who finished third at Huntingdon last month and goes off an unchanged mark. With the booking of Harry Cobden catching the eye, he could make his second handicap start a successful one. Sangiovese completes the shortlist.
With plenty of pace on paper, this could suit the patiently-ridden DRASH ON RUBY who was still going well when making a significant error 3 out last time and she looks very fairly treated off this mark. State of Fame ran well under today's rider 9 days ago and should be staying on at the business end of the race. Rock Hurley has fallen to a workable mark and he can finish in the money today.
The suggestion is STATE OF FAME, who did well to finish third at Taunton recently and will be suited by today's longer trip.
Ths is the racecard key.
