13:35 Gowran Park Stakes 7f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

A tricky contest. I AM SUPERMAN is the highest rated, but would prefer better ground. He does have one notable piece of form on heavy ground when runner-up in a Group 1 Handicap in Australia, so could be worth chancing on his return to action. Conversely, Laugh A Minute will love the ground, but this hasn't been his trip for some time and could stretch him. He is match-fit from a victory over an extended 5f at Naas last month, though. Fiscal Rules is entitled to come on from his unplaced run at the Curragh having been off for almost three years, while the talented Quar Shamar would prefer better ground.

I AM SUPERMAN won well at Dundalk when last seen in December and has a good chance on these terms if in the same sort of form. Quar Shamar might be the danger.

Proven at the trip and in this ground, I AM SUPERMAN(nap) was a dual Group 2 winner in Australia and goes well fresh

14:10 Gowran Park Handicap 7f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

DARK VIPER can oblige on his fourth start this season. He posted two runner-up finishes in the Curragh and over this trip at Naas, and wasn't beaten far when last seen finishing sixth in a massive field at the Curragh. Plenty of cut in the ground is very suitable for him. The last couple of times that Wayne Hassett has partnered Victor's Choice she has finished runner-up in Galway and over C&D. I Bid You Ajou has to prove he wants this ground, but would be a contender if he handles it while Always Love You could improve from a fourth place in Sligo last weekend.

DARK VIPER and Victor's Choice both appeal as being on handy marks judged on recent exploits and rate the pair to focus on, with the former shading the vote to come out on top. I Bid You Ajou can do best of the remainder.

Runner-up over C&D on return, finishing ahead of several of these rivals, VICTOR'S CHOICE can go one better today.

14:40 Gowran Park Handicap 7f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

PASSIONATE is a well-bred filly who could exploit a mark of 63 in her first handicap. There was some promise in her seventh in a big field at the Curragh and that form is working out well. She goes to work from the best draw in stall one. The experienced Manhattan Dandy arrives in form after a victory at Leopardstown and a third place over C&D. Adhuil has put in his best performances at this track in more recent times, so should give Rebecca Parsons a good spin. A change of headgear can spark improvement in low-grade handicaps so Arthur's Victory, in blinkers and with the champion jockey booked, might show more.

MANHATTAN DANDY shaped as if still in good form bidding to defy a 5 lb rise when third of 16 over C&D 2 weeks ago so remains of interest. Cage Rattler will find this easier than the Curragh and is feared most ahead of Adhuil.

Very little between ARDHUIL and Manhattan Dandy on recent C&D form, the former narrowly preferred

15:10 Gowran Park Claimer 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

GO GIRL GO has prospects up in trip and dropped into a claimer. She has posted two runner-up finishes, from her six outings, in Navan (where she handled cut in the ground) and in Dundalk. Sylkie was third over an extended 1m2f in Sligo on Sunday and also has placed form over 7f, so this trip shouldn't inconvenience her. Moutarde won a handicap over a mile on penultimate start in Naas and perhaps found the trip too far in Sligo when he finished two places behind Sylkie, while Alto Sax has enough form in the book to make him a player, but this ground doesn't look ideal.

It could be worth chancing YOUR OUT OF LINE on these terms down in class. Alto Sax is an obvious threat back down in trip with Latin another to consider.

Having posted a much better effort over 7f at the Curragh last time, YOUR OUT OF LINE could improve enough to take this lesser event.

15:45 Gowran Park Handicap 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

FAST TARA could be up to defying top weight. She kept very good company since winning her maiden in Cork last year and wasn't beaten far into fifth in a valuable handicap at the Curragh on her first start for Joseph O'Brien last month. She holds a Group 2 entry for this month. Independent Expert was only just behind her in eighth in that aforementioned race and has to be respected, while Perfect Poise was only collared close home in Leopardstown and improvement should be forthcoming. First Snow Moon won a fillies' maiden in France almost a year ago and the market should be informative ahead of her Irish debut.

SIMPLY SIDEWAYS and Fast Tara weren't beaten far in a better race than this at the Curragh last time so both are likely to go well, the former shading the vote. Perfect Poise was a good second at Leopardstown on her comeback and is another to consider.

Although raisd 4lb for her recent Leopardstown second PERFECT POISE can land a second career win

16:15 Gowran Park Maiden 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

ATA RANGI made a promising debut on testing ground in a 20-runner maiden at the Curragh last back-end and the Henry de Bromhead-trained gelding also shaped well when reappearing again over a mile at Cork last month. Aratayvo's second to Bright Stripes in a Naas maiden last year received a timely boost when the winner landed the Tetrarch Stakes at the Curragh on Monday, while Miss Tapley is another for the shortlist having been placed on both outings over seven furlongs including when third behind Buttermere Ridge here last month. Vestigia and Sobriety Blue are others to note in a competitive maiden.

MISS TAPLEY found the test inadequate when third on her return over 7f here 16 days ago and with this step up to 1m very much in her favour on that evidence, she looks to hold sound claims with the prospect of more to come. Aratayvo and Ata Rangi are others to consider.

Bred to stay further, these testing conditions shoud suit ATA RANGI

16:50 Gowran Park Handicap 14f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

VALLEYOFTHEEAGLES won a maiden hurdle at Killarney this time last year on his second run back after a lengthy break and hopefully he can repeat the trick now on the Flat. The Martin Hassett-trained gelding only failed by a head to peg back Rumi when reappearing over C&D last month with Dark Miss and The Truant both behind. There is little to choose between Make Good and Folly Beach on running behind Nostra Casa in a 19-runner Navan handicap over a similar trip last month, while Highland Train ran well at Dundalk last time and has scope for further improvement. Pigeon House enters calculations having landed a highly competitive handicap hurdle at Punchestown last week.

A winner over hurdles recently, BARRIER very much appeals as the type to make her mark now her stamina is tested further returned to this sphere and Gordon Elliott's filly looks a live player in refitted cheekpieces. Pigeon House, a winner himself over hurdles at Punchestown last week, is similarly appealing from could well prove a lenient mark back on the Flat. Valleyoftheeagles and Folly Beach can also figure.

BARRIER comes here off the back of a maiden hurdle win following a fine run over an inadequate 1m at the Curragh.
