LTO Selection:

12:30 Galway Maiden 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Aidan O'Brien introduces well-bred newcomers Iseult Of Ireland and Rubies Are Red, but his other runner EVERLASTING has a recent run under her belt, which will stand to her on the testing ground. The daughter of Kingman wasn't that far off the placed horse when mid-division at the Curragh, and stepping up in trip may suit the half-sister to the yard's smart middle-distance colt Adelaide River. The 92-rated Settlement sets a good standard and was just touched off over a mile at Cork before contesting a Group 3 at the Curragh. Kisiyra showed a lot more on her second start when third on heavy ground at Gowran, while Colin Keane is an interesting booking for Lope De Lilas, whose dam is a sister to dual French Classic winner Golden Lilac.

SETTLEMENT seemed to find Group 3 company too hot on her latest outing but she'd previously highlighted she's a banker for a race of this type when narrowly denied at Cork in September and she can make a bold bid. Impeccably-bred newcomer Rubies Are Red and likely-improver Everlasting head up the dangers.

Down in class and up in trip after contesting a 7f Group 3 race at the Curragh, SETTLEMENT (nap) has good overall credentials for this

Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.

Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.
