14:00 Ffos Las Handicap (Class 5) 16f  Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

EAGLE ONE was comfortable at the finish when getting up over shorter here last time out, and stepping back up in trip should not inconvenience him, given he performed with credit when third over 2m at Lingfield on his penultimate outing. It's All About You, who returned to winning ways with a taking performance at Ayr last month and has run well over this distance before, can give him the most to think about. Captain Haddock and Parikarma have the form to get involved too.

EAGLE ONE was confidently ridden by his amateur pilot when scoring here earlier this month and the pair are fancied to go in again. It's All About You and Parikarma are feared most.

It might be worth chancing CUBANA HABANA, who was below form here this month but went close over C&D in June and is well handicapped.

14:35 Ffos Las Stakes (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Despite a tardy start and running green throughout much of the contest, ETERNAL ELIXIR shaped with plenty of promise on debut at Haydock recently and, with normal improvement expected, he may be able to get off the mark. Gloryous outran huge odds to finish an encouraging second at Salisbury last week and she looks the main danger to the selection, ahead of newcomer Blue Tempus.

ETERNAL ELIXIR looks a sure-fire improver on the back of his recent encouraging Haydock debut and can open his account. Gloryous and Stage Effect rate the principal dangers.

After keeping on well from the rear for third on his recent Haydock debut, ETERNAL ELIXIR is open to significant improvement.

15:10 Ffos Las Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

A winner over 1m here in June, CALM WATERS should appreciate a return to the Welsh track, and this represents a slight drop in grade for the daughter of Make Believe. The fact she stays further should be a plus on soft ground and Rod Millman's charge gets the vote ahead of Diamondsinthesand, who has dropped 1lb below his last winning mark. Another capable sort on her day, Mayz must enter calculations too.

CALM WATERS has already scored twice this season's and Rod Millmna's filly looks the most solid option on the back of a creditable effort at Sandown last time. Thunderous Love arrives after a pair of below-par efforts but should get conditions to suit, with Diamondsinthesand taken to complete the placings.

Class-dropper CALM WATERS is taken to collect her third win of the season. My Clementine is feared most.

16:20 Ffos Las Stakes (Class 6) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Iconique occupied the runner-up berth in handicap company at Bath earlier in the month and it would be no surprise to see her get into contention. However, she could come out second best to GOODWOOD VISION, who has dropped to a very workable mark and she caught the eye keeping on for fourth over 1m at Windsor last week. Rita Rana is another to note.

ICONIQUE has just the one success to her name but having impressed with how she moved through the race when runner-up at Bath 3 weeks ago, Tony Carroll's mare is fancied to go a place better dropped into classified company for the first time. Goodwood Vision is next best.

She's on a lengthy losing streak but ICONIQUE has not been with Tony Carroll long and is eased in grade after a good recent second.

16:55 Ffos Las Handicap (Class 6) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Three Dons failed to complete the four-timer when he was beaten into third at Brighton last time, but he should remain competitive off the same mark. However, MARMALADE LADY may have more scope for improvement off her current rating. Hughie Morrison's three-year-old finished fourth over 1m5f at Lingfield last month and the return to turf in first-time cheekpieces could work the oracle. Highland Lil is another to watch out for.

Preference is for MARMALADE LADY, who shaped as if still in top form when fourth at Lingfield last month and first-time cheekpieces can eke out that little bit extra. Three Dons wasn't disgraced in the pursuit of a 4-timer at Brighton just over a fortnight ago, so he heads up the dangers, with Highland Lil rounding off the shortlist in a change of headgear.

Third behind two very progressive rivals over C&D last month, HIGHLAND LIL (nap) can open her account today.

About U.K Horse Racing

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.

Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.

In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.

Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
