14:28 Ffos Las Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

GUARD DUTY presumably hasn't been the most straightforward to train having only seen the track twice so far, but the seven-year-old has already shown a useful level of form in bumpers and it will be no surprise if he is up to the task on his hurdling bow. Point-to-point winner Boyles Hill made a pleasing start to life under Rules when second in a bumper here and he can emerge as the main danger. 150,000-pound purchase Country Park is also noted, but he will need to improve on his bumper form if he is to take the gold medal.

GUARD DUTY laid a really solid foundation for hurdling in bumpers, winning on debut before a sound third under a penalty and this looks a good starting point for him over obstacles. Boyles Hill should also have a fair future as a jumper and is a threat, with Scintillante capable of better if settling, with a hood looking a good move.

The vote goes to Irish point winner BOYLES HILL, who was runner-up in a bumper here last month and should have a future over hurdles.

15:00 Ffos Las Handicap Chase (Class 4) 19f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Iron Heart finished an excellent second over 3m at Bangor before posting a below-par effort at Huntingdon just three days later, but the quick turnaround may have been his undoing on that occasion and better can be expected. Preference, though, is for BALLINSKER. Evan Williams' charge put in a front-running exhibition when a game winner over C&D last month and, upped 3lb, another bold showing looks imminent. Steppenwolf is a fascinating contender on his debut for the David Pipe team and he cannot be overlooked lightly.

BALLINSKER bounced back to form re-united with this rider when scoring over C&D last month and remains potentially well treated up 3 lb. Exmoor Forest offered plenty to work on starting out over fences when fourth at Chepstow and rates the main threat ahead of Dan's Chosen, who should be much closer to form after his comeback spin over hurdles.

Most of these have chances but the ex-Irish STEPPENWOLF might yet turn a corner over fences for his new yard.

15:35 Ffos Las Handicap Chase (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

THE GYPSY DAVEY performed with credit when finishing third over 2m3f at Market Rasen on his chasing debut last week, just giving best on the run-in, and easing in trip off the same mark, he can go two places better. This represents a drop in grade for Fearless and he cannot be dismissed on the back of an excellent placed effort over 2m1f at Kelso, while the consistent Nibras Gold also merits consideration on his debut over the larger obstacles.

THE GYPSY DAVEY might have lost his unbeaten record when third on his chase/handicap bow at Market Rasen last week, but it was still a promising start in this sphere, and this looks a good opportunity with most of his rivals arriving with something to prove. Fearless bounced back to form when a close third at Kelso 3 weeks ago and is the obvious threat.

This can go to THE GYPSY DAVEY (nap), who followed his two wins over hurdles with a solid third place on his chase debut.

16:08 Ffos Las Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Not beaten far on each of his last three starts, including twice at this track, THATZA DAZZLER deserves a change in luck and as long as he handles the potentially quicker ground on this occasion, the six-year-old looks the one to be with. Danny's Friend only weakened late on into fourth when delivering a career-best effort at Stratford and he is of interest on handicap debut, along with Come To Pass.

THATZA DAZZLER is the most solid option after a couple of recent placed efforts, including over C&D. Ocean Heights remains one who could click over hurdles given his bumper/Flat ability and he's a possible threat. The unexposed Danny's Friend may prove best of the rest.

Consistency counts for a lot at this lowly level and THATZA DAZZLER has finished bang there on his last three starts.

16:40 Ffos Las Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

JASMIN DE GRUGY continues to go from strength to strength and an 8lb rise for his recent comfortable success at Uttoxeter may not be enough to prevent him from landing the hat-trick. Anthony Honeyball's charge can uphold form with Crossbeau (second) from his penultimate victory over C&D, despite being 18lb worse off at the weights for just over six lengths. Coup De Gold and Rascal have the form to get involved in proceedings as well.

JASMIN DE GRUGY arrives on an upward curve and has already tasted success here, so he seems an obvious choice as he bids for a quick hat-trick. Gavin is of interest returning to a track where he boasts a good record and Crossbeau deserves respect for all that he was firmly put in his place by the selection last time.

The progressive Jasmin De Grugy is the obvious answer but CHANCYCOURT ran better last time ahead of this handicap debut.

17:10 Ffos Las Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 24f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

A tentative vote goes to BRIDGET MARY, who drops in trip after a highly creditable second at Stratford, where she looked the likely winner, only to be collared late in the piece. The Rebecca Curtis-trained six-year-old may be able to dictate this contest and she gets the vote ahead of Huntingdon runner-up Valentine Getaway, as well as Faerie Cutlass, who shaped well on her first run back from a break at Ludlow last month. Others to note include Jolie Baie, Of Course You Can and Rubys Reward.

Plenty with claims here, including BRIDGET MARY, who found some improvement when runner-up at Stratford last time and remains fairly treated. Valentine Getaway and Of Course You Can head the list of dangers.

A good few with chances but OF COURSE YOU CAN has run well the last twice and given the impression that this trip should suit.
