(6) Juby Ball 5/1, Had 3 subsequent hurdles winners adrift when making a successful start to his career in bumper at this course in November 2023. Runner-up in a deep-looking bumper at Sandown on sole run since in February and he's a potentially useful jumper in the making.

12:12 Ffos Las Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Having weakened late on when third over 2m4f at Uttoxeter in November, LUD'OR makes plenty of appeal reverting to two miles. Tom Symonds' charge had previously finished second over this trip at Stratford and a breakthrough victory could be in the offing. Hurdles-debutant Juby Ball found only a progressive rival too strong in a bumper at Sandown last season, while Dunskay should also make his mark entering this discipline.

Having run to a fairly useful level in France, LUD'OR has shaped promisingly both starts for current yard, third behind a bright prospect at Uttoxeter on his latest outing, so he could be ready to get off the mark as he drops back down in trip. A pair of bumper winners could be the main dangers as they go hurdling, with Dunskay feared most ahead of Juby Ball.

Interesting hurdles debutants JUBY BALL (narrowly preferred) and Dunskay hold particularly strong claims on their bumper form.

12:42 Ffos Las Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Although unable to justify favouritism when second at Chepstow in October, JUVENTUS DE BRION found only a subsequent Grade 2 runner-up too strong that day. Compensation could be on the cards for Dan Skelton's gelding and he ticks plenty of the right boxes. Johnny's Jury, a half-brother to Supreme Hurdle winner Appreciate It, must be monitored in the betting on his racecourse debut. Jasmine Bliss and Tamarind Bay are also noted.

Dual bumper winner JASMINE BLISS pulled a long way clear with one that has since scored in listed company on her hurdles debut and sets a good standard with the promise of more still to come. The suspicion also remains that we've yet to see the best of Juventus de Brion and he rates the chief threat, with Tamarind Bay and the Henderson-trained newcomer Johnny's Jury completing the shortlist.

This may be a good opportunity for JASMINE BLISS to add to her bumper wins, especially as her Lingfield hurdles form has been boosted.

13:15 Ffos Las Maiden Chase (Class 1) 19f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.

CHERIE D'AM left her short-priced novice chase defeat at Carlisle behind when making all in a Listed event at Warwick last month. Dan Skelton's mare ran out an impressive winner on that occasion and she could take some stopping if dictating the pace once more. Handstands must enter calculations after his Grade 2 victory at Sandown and the six-year-old warrants respect, despite a 5lb penalty. Saint Davy looks the pick of the remainder.

HANDSTANDS looked potentially smart when winning a similar event at Sandown 5 weeks ago, having too much speed for his rivals on his first attempt at 3m, and can get the better of Saint Davy again back over this shorter trip under a 5 lb penalty. Cherie d'Am has continued her progress since switched to fences and is another to consider.

Improving mare CHERIE D'AM is taken to follow up her Listed win. Saint Davy and Handstands are the other main form players.

13:51 Ffos Las Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

OUR DYLAN readily took care of his nearest rival by over two lengths at Exeter last month and has a 7lb higher rating to contend with. The nine-year-old should have no issues with this extra distance and he looks well placed to complete a double. Dangerous Touch was well beaten into fourth at Warwick in November, but he could be seen in a different light now that he tackles the handicap ranks for the in-form Olly Murphy team. Siberian Star looks best of the rest.

HEART OF ROME had some decent form in Ireland, notably when ridden positively, and similar tactics here could see him score on debut for Rebecca Curtis. There could be a couple of improvers lurking in this field, namely Dangerous Touch and The Blueberry One who both represent powerful yards and are unexposed tackling this trip for the first-time on handicap debut. The ultra-consistent Our Dylan deserves an honourable mention.

Our Dylan is solid, but in THE BLUEBERRY ONE and Dangerous Touch he could be up against a couple of improvers.

14:25 Ffos Las Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Getaway With You failed to justify short odds when only third at Market Rasen on his most recent start and this drop in trip, along with a 4lb higher rating, makes life tougher. With that in mind, the vote goes to DIAMATISTE, who finished a long way clear of the third when hitting the crossbar at Exeter last time. Kayley Woollacott's six-year-old might only need to reproduce that level of form in order to go one better. Jesuila Des Mottes needs to be monitored in the market on her handicap debut.

A few with chances but DIAMATISTE's form is on an upward curve and he is taken to gain a deserved first success on the back of his clear Exeter second last time out. Double Click could emerge as the main threat now his stamina is unlocked more, while Getaway With You, Jesuila des Mottes and Limerick Leader all need factoring into this open handicap too.

A mile clear of the rest when nearly winning at Exeter, DIAMATISTE has to rate a serious contender with Joshua Newman claiming 5lb.

14:58 Ffos Las Handicap Hurdle (Class 3) 24f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Point-to-point winner ROSSCAHILL kept his unbeaten record intact when powering clear to score at this venue last month. Nigel Twiston-Davies' six-year-old shaped as if this step up in trip could unlock any amount of improvement and can defy his opening mark of 120. One Big Bang looks the main threat after finishing a fair fourth in a warmer event at Cheltenham earlier in the month. Previous C&D scorer Mahland completes the shortlist.

ROSSCAHILL won a point easy and has shown a good attitude to maintain his 100% record in a maiden/novice hurdle here, so he's fancied to go in again from an opening mark that could underestimate him. One Big Bang should relish the emphasis on stamina and is a live danger, while Up For Parol should give his running again.

The unbeaten handicap debutant ROSSCAHILL (nap) could be all the rage, with this longer trip likely to suit him down to the ground.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

A revelation since joining the Dan Skelton stable last summer, with six wins from seven starts, BEAT BOX continues to go from strength-to-strength and a 10lb rise for his most recent success at Kelso may not be enough to prevent him from going in again. Keep Running bounced back to winning ways with an impressive display from the front at Ludlow in November and he must enter calculations, along with the hat-trick seeking Ostrava Du Berlais.

Beat Box will undoubtedly be popular given the roll he's on this season, but he may have to play second fiddle to OSTRAVA DU BERLAIS, who arrives on a hat-trick following a couple of wide-margin wins and Venetia Williams' progressive chaser looks one to keep firmly on the right side of. Keep Running, another commanding last-time-out winner, can get the better of Triple Trade for minor honours.

A competitive race but TRIPLE TRADE is well handicapped and accustomed to stronger company. His last run was encouraging.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Runner-up on his Rules debut at Bangor-on-Dee in a race that has worked out very well, DOUGLAS HYDE is entitled to improve plenty for that effort. The booking of Harry Cobden catches the eye, and the son of Affinisea can get off the mark. The well-bred newcomer Giantsgrave looks best placed to chase him home for leading connections. The Ben Pauling stable has an excellent record at this track, and Loch Na Keal is another debutant to monitor for market support.

LOCH NA KEAL is from a good family and represents a stable with an excellent record both at this track and in bumpers, so he gets the narrow vote over point recruit Giantsgrave. Douglas Hyde is the clear pick of those with experience in this discipline.

This could be a fair bumper. NEXT TWIST was beaten 16l at Sandown but shaped well behind nice prospects.
