12:00 Fairyhouse Handicap Chase 20f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

BROOMFIELD BIJOU has run well in a couple of good novice events recently and looks on a nice mark now in handicap company. She chased home a progressive horse in Jasko Des Dames at Punchestown last time and this is a nice opportunity in against her own sex. Must Be Obeyed has been knocking on the door and ran well on her return at Clonmel last month, when second to Pink In The Park. She heads the weights but should be a big player. Sainte Dona can be a free going sort and will likely take them along. She may improve a bit from her comeback run at Listowel.

SAINTE DONA looks fairly treated on her handicap debut and gets the nod in the opener. Must Be Obeyed and Broomfield Bijou rate the principal dangers.

Question marks surround many, a tentative vote going to SAINTE DONA, a winner here last season

12:30 Fairyhouse Conditions Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

French recruit WILLY DE HOUELLE was runner-up in a Listed hurdle at Auteuil back in April and can make a winning start now on Irish soil for Willie Mullins. The form of that Auteuil run looks strong with the winner, Nietzsche Has winning a Grade 3 subsequently and being runner-up at Grade 1 level. Coul Dreamer was impressive when winning on his hurdling debut at Punchestown 16 days ago and may prove the main danger. Space Warrior also won on his jumping bow, over course and distance last month, and is another that has to be considered.

WILLY DE HOUELLE has joined Willie Mullins since his good second in listed company at Auteuil and looks the one to beat here. Coul Dreamer made a fine start over hurdles at Punchestown last month and looks the likeliest danger.

Willie Mullins' French recruit WILLY DE HOUELLE gets the vote to see off the likes of Coul Dreamer and Messerschmitt

13:05 Fairyhouse Handicap Chase 30f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

POSITIVE THINKER was on top a stride after the line at Cork last time and a marathon trip seems to bring out the best in him. He just failed by a short-head to peg back Sphagnum in the Cork National and is now 3lb better off with that rival. Outside The Door, who was just a neck back in third then also has to be in the mix again. Favori De Champdou, a Grade 2 winner as a novice, heads the weights here and has to be respected. Carl Millar eases his burden by taking off 5lb. Jack Kennedy rides stablemate Where It All Began, winner of a national trial last season, and he's another for the shortlist.

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN might have found the Irish Grand National coming too soon after his decent fourth at the Cheltenham Festival so is worth another chance on return. Klarc Kent is another who might have been over the top last time after his good fourth in the Scottish Grand National, while there wasn't much between Sphagnum, Positive Thinker and Outside The Door when 1-2-3 at Cork 4 weeks ago.

The first three from the Cork National renew rivalry. On softer ground runner-up POSITIVE THINKER can emerge on top this time

13:35 Fairyhouse Maiden Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

ROMEO COOLIO is held in very high regard by connections and was a smart sort in bumpers last season winning at this venue and also finishing second to Jasmin De Vaux at the Cheltenham Festival. The Kayf Tara gelding easily justified cramped odds on his hurdling debut at Down Royal and riding arrangements suggest he's preferred to Bleu De Vassy who has already scored at Grade 3 level over hurdles. Willie Mullins has a numerically strong challenge and Belloccio may prove the pick of his five runners. His jumping was far from perfect when easily winning a Punchestown maiden in May and the following month he landed the 1m6f Copper Horse Handicap at Royal Ascot.

ROMEO COOLIO did what he was entitled to when a facile winner on hurdles debut but this Champion-Bumper second is clearly a very smart prospect indeed, as his status at the head of the betting for the Supreme indicates. He can pass this test, probably at the chief expense of stablemate Bleu de Vassy, though Belloccio is open to lots of improvement in this sphere given his Flat ability.

Gordon Elliott holds a very strong hand, ROMEO COOLIO narrowly preferred to recent Grade 3 winner Bleu De Vassy

14:05 Fairyhouse Maiden Chase 20f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

HEART WOOD is very experienced over fences compared to a number of his rivals and sets a fair standard. The selection, who won a valuable 2m5f handicap at Leopardstown in February and also beat Corbetts Cross in decisive fashion on his reappearance at Wexford, can take advantage of his novice status being stretched out to this weekend. Firefox is the choice of Jack Kennedy from four Gordon Elliott runners and having been placed in Grade 1 novice hurdles at all the big spring Festival meetings, comfortably landed the odds on his chasing debut at Down Royal. Shecouldbeanything is on a five-timer and won't lack for experience while Gorgeous Tom won a Grade 3 in good style over this trip at Cork.

FIREFOX was smart and super reliable as a hurdler and looked a natural at the first attempt over fences, so he's preferred to Heart Wood, who has the best form over fences and more experience. Gorgeous Tom is the pick of the others in a fascinating Grade 1.

Henry de Bromhead's HEART WOOD has the merit of considerable experience and may prove too strong for Gordon Elliott's quartet

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

This looks a virtual match with LOSSIEMOUTH getting slight preference over Teahupoo. The Willie Mullins-trained mare was a star juvenile winning the Triumph Hurdle and also scored at Grade 1 level in Punchestown. She made a belated return last term and progressed again winning impressively on all three starts. The selection may just have a better turn off foot than Teahupoo who is bidding to complete a hat-trick in this race having beaten the odds-on Impaire Et Passe 12 months ago before going on to land the Stayers Hurdle at both Cheltenham and Punchestown. The other two runners have a bit to find on figures, but Beacon Edge comes here off the back of a Grade 2 win at Wetherby.

TEAHUPOO and Lossiemouth bring some mightily impressive form figures to the table and comfortably rate the pair to focus on, with the former narrowly selected to come out on top in his bid to land this contest for the third consecutive season. Willie Mullins' mare commands the utmost respect also, and she's very much unexposed at this trip.

A fascinating duel in prospect. Preference for TEAHUPOO is marginal in the face of the 7lb sex allowance enjoyed by Lossiemouth

Has a long absence to overcome and this looks a tough task against that background.

(10) Frankendael 15/2, Fairly useful Flat winner who proved upwardly mobile over hurdles this summer, off the mark in a Ballinrobe maiden and following up impressive on handicap debut at Listowel (2m) in September. Good third on Flat at Gowran in October and likely there's more to come back in this sphere.

15:10 Fairyhouse Handicap Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

TELECON has been lightly raced since winning over C&D on the Irish Grand National card last year and ran a cracker when reappearing at Down Royal last time. The Mark Fahey-trained gelding was very weak in the market but finished well to take third behind Kala Conti despite meeting some interference and making a mistake at the last. Volantis is also a course winner and rates a serious threat having overcome plenty of trouble in running when successful last time at the Galway Festival. So Scottish is quite versatile in terms of trip and has also been absent since narrowly denied over 2m6f at Galway this summer, while Washington overcame a lengthy absence when successful on his first start for Harry Derham at Chepstow.

Typically competitive fair in which a chance is taken on British-raider WASHINGTON. He capitalised on a much-reduced mark and justified strong support in the process at Chepstow in October and a 3 lb rise should see Harry Denham's 8-y-o competitive once more. Frankendael heads up the dangers given his positive profile, ahead of Telecon. So Scottish and Volantis complete the shortlist.

An open race and EFFERNOCK FIZZ who warmed up with a recent run on the Flat, is a speculative each-way selection.

15:40 Fairyhouse NH Flat Race 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Gordon Elliott has won this race three times in the past six years, and HE CAN'T DANCE may provide the Cullentra yard with another victory. The Jukebox Jury gelding beat Meetmebythesea in a Monksgrange point-to-point and the runner-up gave that form a timely boost when scoring on his debut under Rules in a Ludlow maiden hurdle this week. The selection was snapped up by current connections for 300,000 pounds at Aintree. Unknown Entity is an obvious threat and has losses to recover after finishing fourth behind the useful Sixandahalf at the Punchestown Festival. The market may provide some clues to the relative merits of Mossy Way.

Gigginstown and Gordon Elliott have two expensive recruits from points who are likely to fight this out, with HE CAN'T DANCE taken to prevail over Koktail Brut. Unkown Entity could improve on his debut and isn't without hope.

Gigginstown Stud has some good bumper horses this season and could have another here with HE CAN'T DANCE
