The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
It is going to be very interesting to see MY MATE MOZZIE going over fences this season. Gavin Cromwell's charge has compiled a very solid sequence of results over flights and on the Flat. This former Grade 3 winner over hurdles finished third in this year's Galway Hurdle and was fifth in the competitive Irish Cesarewitch at the Curragh last month. There should be plenty to come from him over the bigger obstacles. Hgranca De Thaix is a fair horse over hurdles as shown when winning by 17 lengths at Galway a year ago. He hasn't been out since finishing third in a Grade B handicap hurdle at Punchestown on New Year's Eve, but is sure to be well schooled for fences coming from Barry Connell's stable. Cromwell actually saddles four horses and his Invictus Machin should have a future over fences. Tullypole Annie could be a useful recruit for Lorna Fowler who sends her over fences for the first time.
The fact that MY MATE MOZZIE was a winner of his sole start between the flags augurs well with regard to this switch to fences and, if he does make a good shape over the obstacles, he will prove very hard to beat. The 7-y-o was a fine third in the Galway Hurdle during the summer and recently performed with credit on the Flat at The Curragh where he was fifth in the valuable Irish Cesarewitch. Annexation is taken to follow the selection home, with Kiki Badger best of the rest.
Third in the Galway Hurdle and fifth in the Irish Cesarewitch, MY MATE MOZZIE will be hard beat if he puts in an error-free round

13/2(-44%) | (5) So Des Flos 13/2, Lightly-raced winner over hurdles, successful in first-time cheekpieces (retained) in a 21f Limerick maiden when last seen in March. Intriguing candidate on chase debut. Won Limerick maiden hurdle in March over this trip and from family of useful chasers. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (6) (10/1 +38%) Verdant Place |
10/1(+38%) | (6) Verdant Place 10/1, Fairly useful hurdler. Latest win in hurdle at Punchestown in February. Bit below form tenth of 25 in handicap hurdle (8/1) at Punchestown (23.6f, good to soft) 163 days ago. Makes chase debut. Mark Walsh prefers Genois. Progressive staying handicapper over hurdles and reached a mark of 120; chase debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
SO DES FLOS looked a chaser in the making when delivering over flights at Limerick in March. He will enjoy this trip and ground and is a major contender in this competitive beginners' chase. A couple of subsequent maiden hurdle winners came out of that Limerick contest to strengthen the form. Flanking Maneuver is clearly well thought of as after he finished fourth in a Grade 1 novice hurdle at Naas in January, he took third place in graded novice chases at Navan and Naas. He is likely to be on the premises here. Genois has plenty of chasing experience and is match fit from a runner-up berth in a Listowel beginners' chase last month.
FLANKING MANEUVER's jumping went to pieces in the second half of the race when a well-held third at Naas on his final start of last season. However, he previously shaped very well indeed on his chase debut following a lengthy absence in a Navan Grade 2 and will be very hard to beat if reproducing form akin to that here. So des Flos, successful over hurdles at Limerick in March, gets the nod for forecast purposes ahead of Genois.
If he runs close to the form of his third in last season's Grade 2 Ten Up Novice Chase at Navan, FLANKING MANEUVER will be hard to beat

7/1(+79%) | (7) Clonmeen 7/1, Bit below form eighth of 14 in handicap chase at Listowel (20f, soft, 28/1) 15 days ago. Back up in trip. Easy to look elsewhere. Couple of decent runs last term and should be sharper for mid-field return at Listowel. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||

3/1(+14%) | (2) Galon De Vauzelle 3/1, Twelve runs since last win in 2022. Good second of 8 in handicap chase at Listowel (24f, soft, 6/1) 14 days ago. Should go well again. Gone close several times in similar contests including under this rider at Listowel latest. |

Latest run may have come too soon, so he should bounce back. Won beginners' chase at Clonmel but well held on handicap debut and off nearly six months. |

11/1(+50%) | (6) Gali Flight 11/1, Remains a maiden after 28 NH runs. 10/1, last of 8 in handicap chase at Downpatrick (23.5f, soft) 22 days ago. Plenty to find on form. Long-standing maiden and was well behind C'est Quelqu'un at Downpatrick last month. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (4) (4/1 +27%) Sweet Will |
4/1(+27%) | (4) Sweet Will 4/1, Promising sort. Pulled up in handicap hurdle (18/1) at Kilbeggan (24.2f, good to soft) 148 days ago, headed again after 3 out. Switches from hurdles to chase. Remains with potential in this sphere. Stays well; went close in 2m5f chase here in January; needs to recapture form after break. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (5) (5/2 +0%) C'est Quelqu'un |
5/2(+0%) | (5) C'est Quelqu'un 5/2, 2 wins from 4 runs this season. 11/10, didn't need to improve to win 8-runner handicap chase at Downpatrick (23.5f, soft) 22 days ago, battling well. Worth a chance to complete the hat-trick. Has improved since joining yard; dead-heated at Downpatrick, fourth won since; 7lb higher. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (3) (8/1 -78%) Goodnightngodbless |
8/1(-78%) | (3) Goodnightngodbless 8/1, Latest win in chase at Wexford in May. 5/1, good second of 11 in handicap chase at Kilbeggan (24.4f, good to soft) 56 days ago, clear of rest. One to consider. Strong stayer; consistent since winning at Wexford in May and goes well for this rider. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
SWEET WILL looks well handicapped over fences. He is rated some 14lb lower over fences than hurdles and the last time he raced in this sphere he travelled well to close three out in Navan where he unseated his rider. There are races in him off this mark of 110. Galon De Vauzelle is inching up the weights by virtue of five placed efforts in a row over fences, but Tiernan Power Roche's 7lb claim should keep him more than competitive. The pair lost a battle in Listowel by half a length, but they were two lengths clear of the third home who came out and won at Killarney. C'est Quelqu'un is certainly going the right way since landing in Ireland. He won over hurdles and fences in Britain and began his Irish career with a pair of runner-up spots in handicap hurdles before winning two handicap chases (including a dead-heat in Downpatrick). He's just the sort of recruit Gordon Elliott is capable of running a sequence up with.
C'EST QUELQU'UN showed a good attitude to prevail at Downpatrick last time and he's on the up, so he's worth a chance to complete the hat-trick at the possible expense of Galon de Vauzelle. Goodnightgodbless is another one to consider.
The consistent GALON DE VAUZELLE is due a turn over fences and may get it, the form of his Listowel second having been boosted since

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
MEET MY LORELEY battled well to win a bumper over the minimum trip in Navan and should really relish an extended 2m4f on her hurdling debut. She is a former point-to-point winner and looks like she will be a staying mare on the track. The horse well behind her in fifth at Navan came out and landed a Galway bumper in impressive fashion during the week. Ballybough Aine is one to note on her racecourse debut. She won her point-to-point in March and has moved to Paul Nolan for her 'track' career. Jordan Gainford is a good booking for her. Stormalong has been placed in three of her eight races over flights, so has her chance. Imperial Class is a potential improver after an opening seventh over flights in Navan.
STORMALONG ran her best race over hurdles when second in a Clonmel handicap last week and has to be considered the one to beat back in maiden company, though strong market support for either bumper-winner Meet My Loreley or point-winner Ballybough Aine would put a slightly different slant on matters.
The bumper winners stand out and the experienced STORMALONG is preferred to Meet My Loreley who is starting out over hurdles

14/1(+44%) | (1) Art Of Silence 14/1, Creditable eighth of 14 in handicap at Dundalk (12f, 18/1) 8 days ago. Switches from Flat to hurdles. Back down in trip. Fairly useful hurdler, below form on last outing in this sphere. Beat the former Group 1-placed Wordsworth in a maiden hurdle, seems best on good ground. |

|PU| (11) (15/2 +70%) Saraqael |
15/2(+70%) | (11) Saraqael 15/2, Lightly-raced maiden over hurdles. Fairly useful winner at 8f on flat. Good eighth of 14 in handicap hurdle at Galway (16.7f, soft, 20/1) 62 days ago. Others have achieved more. Won a Flat maiden at last year's Galway festival, yet to shine over hurdles, can do better. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
DAME RAPIDE is useful on the Flat and caught the eye with a comfortable victory in a Ballinrobe maiden hurdle last month. The dry forecast is in her favour as she wouldn't want the ground to be testing. She should have a future in this game and her ability could come to the fore in this contest. Clever Currency reverts to the smaller obstacles after scoring in a novice handicap chase at Sligo last month. He ran into a massively in-form horse when runner-up over hurdles at Down Royal at the start of September, so has solid claims. The Dasher Conway blotted his copybook by falling at the first fence in Listowel but, prior to that, had been in good nick over fences. He could have a say especially as he was runner-up in this race last year
DAME RAPIDE did the job well when landing the odds in a Ballinrobe maiden last month and she is appealing now switched to handicap company off what looks a feasible opening mark. The Dasher Conway got no further than the first fence at Listowel recently but he was in good form prior to that and is capable of a bold show back hurdling. Anyway also enters calculations and Sam Magee is another for the shortlist.
Rated 95 on the Flat, DAME RAPIDE may prove equal to the task in her first handicap hurdle

18/5(-3%) | (5) Sayitfirst 18/5, Career best when winning 14-runner handicap hurdle (13/2) at this C&D (soft) 5 days ago by ½ length from Banada Bridge. Can make presence felt. Narrow winner from Banada Bridge here on Monday, turnaround in weights favours runner-up. |

10/1(+38%) | (2) Princess Sophia 10/1, Winner in hurdle at Punchestown in May. Respectable 11¾ lengths fifth of 14 to Sayitfirst in handicap hurdle (20/1) at this C&D (soft) 5 days ago. Blinkers on 1st time. Fifth here on Monday, blinkered now for rematch with Sayitfirst and Banada Bridge. |

|PU| (11) (16/1 +20%) Charle Brune |
16/1(+20%) | (11) Charle Brune 16/1, Nineteen runs since last win in 2019. Bit below form sixth of 12 in handicap hurdle at Downpatrick (17.8f, good, 16/1) 40 days ago. Others more persuasive. Two wins for this yard in 2019, fair form on both starts since return from Britain. |

|PU| (14) (20/1 -67%) Mourne Mist |
20/1(-67%) | (14) Mourne Mist 20/1, Very good fifth of 17 in handicap hurdle (16/1) at Galway (22.2f, soft) 26 days ago, well positioned. Down in trip. One to consider. Seems to be improving gradually, big drop in trip now after promising 2m6f run at Galway. |

|PU| (6) (33/1 -32%) Copper Coast |
33/1(-32%) | (6) Copper Coast 33/1, Lightly-raced maiden. Pulled up in novice hurdle (40/1) at Tramore (21.6f, good) 126 days ago, weakening when bad mistake 2 out. Back down in trip. Makes handicap hurdle debut. May find her level handicaps but hard to be confident about her prospects here. |

33/1(+0%) | (15) Save Tonight 33/1, 50/1, sixth of 15 in handicap hurdle at Gowran (16f, heavy) 8 days ago. Makes little appeal. Remote sixth at Gowran last week was her best effort yet, a lot more improvement required. |

|PU| (16) (40/1 +0%) Windsor Diamond |

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
BANADA BRIDGE has been knocking on the door and it may open today. This six-year-old mare has been placed in her last three outings and was beaten a length or less in all three. A couple of those races were in a higher grade and Conor Smithers has been booked to lessen her burden by 4lb. Sayitfirst beat Banada Bridge by half a length over C&D recently, but the latter now has a 12lb pull in the weights so she will be eyeing revenge. This is a marked drop in trip for Mourne Mist who was far from outclassed in fifth over much further in Galway.
BANADA BRIDGE was narrowly denied by Sayitfirst over C&D last time despite travelling best and she's fancied to reverse the form on better terms with that rival. Brownstone is another one to consider.
With the difference in claiming allowances factored in BANADA BRIDGE can be fancied to reverse Monday's C&D form with Sayitfirst

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
ARCTIC GALE may have been a beaten favourite in second on debut at Galway, but he showed plenty of ability and has a leading chance here. He was outgunned by a length and a quarter at the business end, but there should be significant improvement to come. Tomavian was only pipped by a head on a promising debut at Down Royal. She didn't really build upon that when fifth in Listowel, but could readily bounce back here. A La Carte was a market springer on debut at Leopardstown in March, but didn't meet expectations in eighth. A big run in this company wouldn't be a surprise. Can't Resist It and Royal Cave both have a shot at prize money.
ARCTIC GALE's second at Galway on debut is the best piece of form on offer and he's open to improvement, so he's a confident choice to open his account at the likely expense of Tomavian. The others all have something to find.
Galway runner-up ARCTIC GALE has been found a winnable contest and is the one to beat. A La Carte is likely capable of much better
