(3) Valadon 1/3, Supported and shaped well behind promising one who was making it 2-2 over hurdles in C&D event last month, not knocked about. Sure to improve and should take the beating.
Form of his second here is some way superior to what his two rivals have achieved.

(2) Push To Pass 3/1, From the family of smart hurdler/useful chaser Better Times Ahead. No match for very promising winner in similar event at Kempton 3 weeks ago but should benefit from that and is capable of better.

LTO Selection:

12:55 Exeter Conditions Hurdle (Class 4) 17f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

It is very hard to oppose VALADON after he showed plenty of promise when filling second place on his racecourse debut over C&D a month ago. Harry Fry's gelding should only improve for that experience and is likely to prove a class above his rivals here. Push To Pass was well held on his first outing at Kempton but still edges out Catboy to be the main danger.

VALADON made a bright start over C&D last month and should have the beating of Push To Pass and Catboy with improvement on the way.

The most likely winner has to be VALADON after his encouraging debut here when beating all bar a previous winner.

LTO Selection:

13:25 Exeter Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 22f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

SINDABELLA had plenty in hand when winning over an extended 2m2f here last week and Nigel Hawke's mare could be hard to stop once again, despite carrying a 7lb penalty. No Rematch was only narrowly denied at Plumpton a month ago and he could prove to the main threat to the selection, although Unblinking should not be written off.

SHUIL CEOIL was prominent in the betting when unseating before halfway on his recent handicap hurdle debut and is given another chance to show he can take a step forward. Dan Skelton's I Look How I Look is another who could have more to offer in handicaps and also makes the shortlist along with Townhill and last month's Plumpton runner-up No Rematch.

The suggestion is SHUIL CEOIL, a lightly raced 5yo with some scope about him. He departed early at Ludlow when strong in the betting.

Advanced her form when second in a well-contested handicap at Newbury next time before not seen to best effect final start. Makes chase debut (from family of very smart chaser I'msingingtheblues). Endless Escape

3
3/1(-20%)
(2) Endless Escape 3/1, Ex-pointer who enjoyed a productive campaign over hurdles last season and shaped as if she'd come on for her chase debut/return in listed C&D mares' event last month fitted with tongue tie (Mayhem Mya second). That form is looking decent.
4-5 over hurdles; weakened on chase debut here but that run could well bring her on.
4
5th (4) Midnight Ginger (5/1 +38%)
Midnight Ginger

5
5/1(+38%)
(4) Midnight Ginger 5/1, Likeable and consistent type over hurdles, returning with a good second in 19.4f Chepstow handicap last month. This is a tough enough and belated introduction to chasing but no surprise if she went well.
Useful hurdler; lacks chasing experience but could go well if taking to it.
LTO Selection:

13:55 Exeter Novices Chase (Class 3) 18f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

MAYHEM MYA outran odds of 33/1 to fill second place in a Listed event over C&D last month and the daughter of Authorized can go one better if reproducing that level of form here. Endless Escape was well held in the same contest but she could bounce back with the benefit of that outing and is a player based on her hurdles form. Others to consider are Midnight Ginger and Blue Beach.

MAYHEM MYA holds Endless Escape and Inspiratrice on the form of last month's listed C&D mares' chase that is looking good and she can come out on top. Blue Beach might have lots more to offer over fences and isn't dismissed.

Ben Clarke's ENDLESS ESCAPE ran better than the margins suggest when behind Mayhem Mya here last month.

(1) Quinta Do Mar 16/1, 4-time winner over hurdles who opened his chase account at Fontwell in February. Not quite in same form when fourth at Sandown on final outing but has gone well fresh before, so worth a close look now returning to hurdles after 7 months off.
Had a wind op; returns on a tough mark and would prefer good ground.

(2) Molly Ollys Wishes 6/1, Possibly not the force of old but has fallen to a good mark and beat all bar a progressive one to whom she conceded 17 lb at Wetherby (19.7f, heavy) 33 days ago. Obvious player from only 1 lb higher.
Well handicapped and ran well at Wetherby; won't mind getting away from heavy ground.
LTO Selection:

14:25 Exeter Handicap Hurdle (Class 3) 18f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

The progressive JOKER DE MAI had plenty in hand when winning at Lingfield 10 days ago and is difficult to oppose, despite the imposition of a 7lb penalty. Molly Ollys Wishes is on a workable mark and is the biggest threat to the selection, while Imperial Bede and Issam have scope to improve and Quinta Do Mar could also go well.

JOKER DE MAI justified support in the style of one well ahead of his mark at Lingfield last week, so he's hard to oppose under a penalty. C&D winner Issam shaped better than the distance beaten suggests on his return at Sandown and is feared most ahead of Imperial Bede, who gives the impression this longer trip ought to suit.

Joker De Mai could prove very difficult to beat but MOLLY OLLYS WISHES is entitled to give him a race now she's back in good form.

LTO Selection:

14:55 Exeter Handicap Chase (Class 3) 24f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

ENJOY YOUR LIFE was a comfortable winner over C&D last month and a 7lb higher mark might not prevent him from registering back-to-back successes. Still open to improvement over fences, the Venetia Williams-trained gelding could be too hot to handle in this company. Mumbo Jumbo was third behind the selection on that occasion and can get closer on these revised terms, while In Rem is also dangerous to rule out.

ENJOY YOUR LIFE had a couple of these rivals in behind when scoring over C&D last time and he's well worth a chance to follow up. Mumbo Jumbo, who was back in third, should be on the premises again and Jubilee Express could leave the form of his chasing debut behind with cheekpieces fitted.

An open handicap can go to TOP OF THE BILL (nap) who made the frame in a competitive handicap for novices here last month.

15:25 Exeter Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 17f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Navajo Indy won by just over two lengths in a bumper at Newbury last time and is an interesting contender now switched to hurdles. However, preference is for MOUNT FERNS, who ran a lot better than the result suggests at Warwick over 2m3f last month, as he attempted to make all while setting a very strong pace. With more patient tactics and the drop in trip looking like a positive move, the five-year-old looks the way to go. Any market confidence behind Juventus De Brion on his debut would be of interest.

NAVAJO INDY improved with each start in bumpers and could prove tough to beat if bringing that level of form to hurdling. Davidoc and Alcedo may provide the chief threat.

This isn't a strong race. ALCEDO gets the nod in the hope that he can tap back into the considerable promise he showed in bumpers.

15:55 Exeter Handicap Chase (Class 5) 19f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Divine Inspiration returned from a 220-day break to hit the frame over an extended 2m3f at Plumpton and the handicapper has dropped him 1lb for that effort, so he is one to note. However, marginal preference is for TRIBESMANS GLORY, who outran big odds to finish third over the smaller obstacles here last month. The son of Jeremy lurks on an appealing mark and could put these to the sword. Natty Night returns off a career-low mark and he can go well for an in-form yard.

NATTY NIGHT could be worth chancing to make a winning return off a career-low mark with his yard still in excellent form. The thriving Caro des Flos is next best ahead of Flash Gorcombe.

Top of the list is the lightly raced DIVINE INSPIRATION, who returned after wind surgery with a good third at Plumpton last month.
