9/4(+10%) | (4) Denzil 9/4, Raced freely 18l third in a handicap hurdle over 2m at Warwick most recent run; not proven trip; looks main danger to short priced fav Stratford winner who still has potential and he's respected dropped into a seller. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (2) ![]() Kintaro |
8/1(+20%) | (2) Kintaro 8/1, Below par fourth beaten 3l in a handicap hurdle at Taunton latest where found little for pressure; in decent form in autumn; plenty to find on figures Longstanding maiden under both codes and has lots to find on these terms. |

4th (3) ![]() Saddlers Dream |
100/1(-203%) | (3) Saddlers Dream 100/1, Not clear run comfortably held in a maiden hurdle over 1m7f at Wincanton last time; cheekpieces first time; not proven trip; all to do Tailed off in both bumpers and same story at massive prices in two hurdle runs last month. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (1) ![]() Land Afar |
8/13(+15%) | (1) Land Afar 8/13, Below par comfortably held in a novice hurdle over 2m5f at Leicester last time where unsuited by heavy; in good form prior; off a short-break; tough to oppose down in grade Disappointing latest but that was on heavy and he's a major player if he can bounce back. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
It is extremely hard to oppose LAND AFAR, who chased home a subsequent Grade 2 winner at Huntingdon two starts ago. The 10-year-old failed to fire at Leicester when last seen, but he should prove to be a cut above now eased significantly in grade. Kintaro's fourth in handicap company at Taunton suggests that he might be the main threat, ahead of Denzil.
The lightly raced 10yo LAND AFAR had an excuse on heavy ground last time and should be hard to beat if he can get back near his best.

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (2) ![]() Wot You Wearing |
16/1(-100%) | (2) Wot You Wearing 16/1, Not clear run fourth beaten 57l in a handicap chase over 3m at Chepstow latest; that decent form; good mark on hurdles form; very interesting Out of sorts over hurdles of late and was tailed off on chase debut last month. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
RANGATIRA JACK bounced back to form when not beaten far into second over C&D a few weeks ago and the Linda Blackford-trained seven-year-old clearly tops the shortlist on the back of that performance, despite a 2lb rise. The rest all arrive here with plenty to prove, but Constant Friday and Wot You Wearing are the pick of them on recent evidence.
Most of these have lots to prove but RANGATIRA JACK was second in a C&D handicap last month and is a big player if he can back that up.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
SUPER SAINT appeared to have plenty in hand when winning on his handicap debut over 2m4f at Sedgefield last month and a 3lb rise may underestimate Paul Nicholls' gelding. Al Sayah racked up a double when last seen over obstacles in May and has to be noted on her return to action, while Broderick edges out Koukeo to be best of the rest.
Preference is for SUPER SAINT (nap), who justified favouritism on his handicap debut at Sedgefield and is open to more progress.

7/1(+50%) | (3) Tarahumara 7/1, Wide trip down the field in a handicap hurdle at Newton Abbot most recent; well treated on old form; returning from long layoff; outside chance down in trip Only 1lb higher than for last win but he needs a major revival on comeback. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (5) ![]() Princess T |
7/1(-56%) | (5) Princess T 7/1, Ran to form beaten 3l off 109 over 2m at Hereford last time unsuited by steady pace; trainer in form; returning from a break; thereabouts if getting stiff test Seven-time hurdle winner who scored at Wincanton on penultimate run; respected on return. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
SEEYOUINMYDREAMS clearly wasn't at her best when racing too keenly for her own good at Kempton in October and the drop back in trip is likely to see Paul Nicholls' mare in a better light on her handicap bow. Inside Man won over C&D in November and is expected to benefit from returning on a sounder surface. The consistent Princess T and Campaign Trail head the remainder.
Dual hurdle winner SEEYOUINMYDREAMS could resume her progress back at this trip on handicap debut and she gets the vote.

A DEFINITE GETAWAY appears for the first time since December and won't be found a better opportunity to get his head in front. His last success came here in October off 1lb lower and the seven-year-old is likely to be a tough nut to crack, especially with all of his rivals having pulled up when last seen. Castle Daragh may benefit from a first-time visor to pose the main threat, with Up The Straight next best.
Three of the runners were all pulled up last time and the standout contender is A DEFINITE GETAWAY.

4th (2) ![]() King's Quay |
6/1(0%) | (2) King's Quay 6/1, 15l third in a conditions race at Badbury Rings most recent run; C&D winner in 2023 on last rules run; of interest 2-15 in points but he won his only start under rules and that was over C&D; not ruled out. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
SWITCH HITTER was a useful performer when in the care of Paul Nicholls and arrives following a hat-trick in the point-to-point sphere. The 10-year-old is clear on official ratings and is expected to continue his fine run of form. Windance has the ability to be competitive and merits respect along with King's Quay, whose sole previous appearance under Rules saw him win over C&D in April 2023.
This can go to SWITCH HITTER who was a very useful chaser in his prime and has been resurgent with three point wins in a row this year.
Ths is the racecard key.

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.
