1st (1) (15/2 -67%) Katate Dori |
15/2(-67%) | (1) Katate Dori 15/2, Bumper winner in early 2023 who reached a fair level without success over hurdles, stepping up on his comeback run in first-time visor (retained here) when fourth of 8 in handicap at Uttoxeter 3 weeks ago. Worth considering now tackling larger obstacles for the first time. 0-7 over hurdles but ran well in first-time visor last month; chase debut today. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (3) (11/1 -69%) Good Friday Fairy |
11/1(-69%) | (3) Good Friday Fairy 11/1, Hurdles scorer who tasted success twice over fences at around 2½m last season. Shaped as if better for the run following a wind op/9 months off when fifth of 7 in handicap chase at Fontwell (19.5f) 3 weeks ago and better showing anticipated. Tongue strap retained here. Didn't run badly on seasonal debut and could still have untapped potential as a stayer. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (5) (10/1 -54%) Bampton Star |
10/1(-54%) | (5) Bampton Star 10/1, Improved for switch to chasing/fitting of cheekpieces during the spring, successful in back-to-back C&D events in March before a lesser run when fifth at Bangor (3m) a month later. Absent since but it remains early days and he could yet have more to offer this season. Began chasing career with two C&D wins last March; big player if tuned up after layoff. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (2) (9/1 -64%) Simple Getaway |
9/1(-64%) | (2) Simple Getaway 9/1, Fetched £180,000 after winning an Irish point but only minor promise on second of his 3 hurdle starts during 2023/24. Appeals very much the type to make a better chaser and unlikely to be lacking for fitness now handicapping in this sphere after 9 months off. Irish point winner; did not achieve much over hurdles but remains very unexposed. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (4) (2/1 +64%) I See The Sea |
2/1(+64%) | (4) I See The Sea 2/1, Expensive purchase from points who matched pick of his hurdles form after 9 months off when third of 6 in handicap chase at Wincanton (25.1f, heavy) on debut over fences 27 days ago. Will need to brush up his jumping, however. Plugged on for respectable third on seasonal/chase debut; might build on that run here. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (9) (4/1 +43%) Moonlight Artist |
4/1(+43%) | (9) Moonlight Artist 4/1, Opened hurdles account here (23f, soft) last November but his exploits proved mixed thereafter and having displayed some promise sent chasing at Stratford in October, he took a backward step when pulled up at Wincanton (26.7f, heavy) last month. Needs to get back on track. Course hurdle winner; yet to click over fences but remains one to be interested in. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (6) (7/1 -8%) Lock Out |
7/1(-8%) | (6) Lock Out 7/1, Firmly back on track when making a winning return in handicap chase at Chepstow in October. Respectable in-the-frame efforts next 2 starts but not at best back over hurdles at Taunton on latest outing 3 weeks ago. Better showing not ruled out returned to larger obstacles. Scored on seasonal debut in October but not in same form again since. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (8) (18/1 -29%) Kingcormac |
18/1(-29%) | (8) Kingcormac 18/1, Gained reward for a string of solid efforts when landing a 10-runner handicap at Hereford (20.9f, heavy) in January 2023. Checked out tamely both starts thereafter that season and the betting may well prove the best guide on this return from 21 months off. Won off this mark two years ago but absent since disappointing run two months later. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (7) (22/1 -10%) Lightonthewing |
22/1(-10%) | (7) Lightonthewing 22/1, C&D winner who resumed with success at Newton Abbot in May but fell at that venue a month later and he failed to come on for a recent run when twelfth of 13 in handicap chase at Hereford (20.9f, good to soft) 21 days ago. Others preferred. Five chase wins; returned from break with two poor runs in late 2024; needs to rebound. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (11) (25/1 -25%) Supreme Commander |
25/1(-25%) | (11) Supreme Commander 25/1, Bought for plenty of money after finishing second in an Irish point but no impact as yet under Rules, including when fifth of 9 in handicap chase at Wincanton (25.1f, soft, 10/3) 15 days ago. Lines up here operating from long way out of the weights. Still unexposed under rules but needs significant improvement from 12lb out of the weights. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
In what looks a trappy affair, KATATE DORI gets the tentative vote. Sam Thomas' charge stripped fitter for his reappearance fifth when fourth over an extended 2m7f at Uttoxeter recently and appeals as making into a better chaser. I See The Sea made a satisfactory return when third over 3m1f at Wincanton last month and a bold showing off a 2lb lower mark would come as no surprise, while the unexposed Simple Getaway could also play a hand.
KATATE DORI failed to get his head in front over hurdles but showed the benefit of his reappearance run when finishing a creditable fourth at Uttoxeter on his latest start and he appeals as a likely type to take to this discipline for the Sam Thomas stable. Simple Getaway is another chase debutant to note, particularly if market vibes are positive. Good Friday Fairy, I See The Sea and and Lock Out are others in the mix.
Still unexposed at about 3m, GOOD FRIDAY FAIRY won over 2m3f in the style of a very stout stayer last season and gets the nod.

1st (2) (5/2 -11%) Donnacha |
5/2(-11%) | (2) Donnacha 5/2, Consistent over hurdles last season, winning 3 times, including here in April, and shaped better than on return on second go over fences at Chepstow last time (would've done more still but for successive mistakes at the top of the home straight). Can progress. Three hurdle wins last season; first two chase runs were respectable; improvement possible. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (4) (5/2 +44%) Risk De Pluie |
5/2(+44%) | (4) Risk De Pluie 5/2, Winning Irish pointer who followed suit in 2m3f novice hurdle at Fontwell on Rules debut a year ago and showed aptitude for chasing after a breathing operation/8 months off here recently. Longer trip will suit and can improve. No threat to front pair when third on chase/handicap debut but might come on for the run. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (3) (11/4 -22%) Royal Jewel |
11/4(-22%) | (3) Royal Jewel 11/4, Has done most of his racing here, winning 2m maiden hurdle last season. 2 good runs over fences away from this venue this term, settling better in fair heat at Chepstow on Friday. Quickly turned out again. Makes quick reappearance after coming third at Chepstow on Friday; runs this track well. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (6) (7/1 +56%) Rangatira Jack |
7/1(+56%) | (6) Rangatira Jack 7/1, Fair form without tasting success in novice/maiden hurdles last season and better effort over fences over C&D 13 days ago. Not out of things from his mark but will find easier opportunities. Respectable fifth in Class 5 C&D race last month; needs improvement today. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (1) (11/2 -120%) Western General |
11/2(-120%) | (1) Western General 11/2, Hurdles winner who confirmed previous chase promise and more following wind op/6 months off when readily taking 7-runner 2m Newton Abbot handicap in October. Perhaps undone by a rise in the weights in tougher race at Chepstow but this step back up in distance will suit. Drew nicely clear at Newton Abbot in October and has been placed off new mark since. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
DONNACHA had flashes of useful form over hurdles last term and he built on a low-key chasing debut to finish an admirable fourth in a deeper race over an extended 2m3f at Chepstow in November. Eased 2lb, the seven-year-old looks well capable of landing the spoils in a race of this nature. Western General plugged on into third after becoming outpaced over 2m at the same venue last time out and, stepping back up in trip off an unchanged mark, he looks the main danger. Royal Jewel completes the shortlist.
Successive mistakes did for DONNACHA at Chepstow last time but it was an encouraging effort overall and he can do better over fences. He gets the vote over Risk de Pluie, who showed aptitude for this game on his return here last month.
Following solid efforts on all four runs since the tongue-tie went on, WESTERN GENERAL can add to the chase win he recorded in October.

1st (1) (5/4 +62%) Keable |
5/4(+62%) | (1) Keable 5/4, Very lightly raced for his age and stepped up on his reappearance run when second of 10 in handicap at Wincanton (24.7f, heavy) just under 4 weeks ago. Nudged up 3 lb for that near miss but every chance he can go one better. 0-7 over hurdles but was clear second to an improver last month; high on the list. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (6) (14/1 -40%) Gentleman Jacques |
14/1(-40%) | (6) Gentleman Jacques 14/1, Made the frame in bumpers and several hurdles for Charlie Longsdon but has become disappointing and has made an underwhelming start for this yard, tailed off on his second chase start at Taunton last month. Visor/tongue tie applied for his return to hurdles. Lacked fluency when safely held in two chases this autumn; back hurdling in new headgear. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (7) (9/1 +36%) Chauffeur Driven |
9/1(+36%) | (7) Chauffeur Driven 9/1, Point winner. Also third in maiden/novice hurdles around 2m last winter but disappointed first 2 starts handicaps. More like it fitted in blinkers/tongue tie when fifth of 10 at Taunton in November but that was seemingly something of a false dawn (tailed off back there next time). Ran well at Taunton in November but tailed off there since and now 0-7 over hurdles. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (9) (9/2 -13%) Mutley Crew |
9/2(-13%) | (9) Mutley Crew 9/2, Took a big step forward on her handicap bow when scoring at Fontwell (19f) in October, asserting late on. Ran as well in defeat after a break when third of 11 in handicap at Plumpton (20.5f, good to soft) just over 2 weeks ago and she should remain competitive. Scored on handicap debut in October and has been placed since; likely contender again. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (5) (10/1 -43%) Can't Say |
10/1(-43%) | (5) Can't Say 10/1, Pulled up in a point and having offered little on his first 4 hurdles starts here, looked suited by the longer trip to open his account in 10-runner handicap at Ffos Las (23.9f, good to soft) when last seen 7 months ago. Bit worrying he's not been seen since but remains very lightly raced. Caused 50-1 surprise when upped to 3m in May; further progress is possible. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (10) (9/1 -50%) Inspector Lynley |
9/1(-50%) | (10) Inspector Lynley 9/1, Opened his account in novice handicap at Stratford in July and having been pulled up at Perth next time, wasted no time getting back to form tried hooded when third at Kempton (24.6f, good to soft) in November. Can build on that dropped back in trip. Sound effort when placed behind progressive rival last time but others here appeal more. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (8) (25/1 -25%) Sheeka Supreme |
25/1(-25%) | (8) Sheeka Supreme 25/1, Successful in Irish points in October 2022 but little show in 3 races over hurdles. Could well show more now handicapping. Irish point winner; displayed promise in a novice last month; can improve in handicaps. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (2) (12/1 -33%) Eileen's Milan |
12/1(-33%) | (2) Eileen's Milan 12/1, Had 3 outings in maiden/novice hurdles at Newton Abbot over the summer, showing a fair level of ability when runner-up on the second occasion. Had a wind op but failed to improve from a stiff opening mark after 5 months off at Fontwell (21.8f, soft) just over 3 weeks ago. Others more appealing. Still unexposed but was safely held on last month's handicap debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (11) (16/1 -33%) Caitlin's Court |
16/1(-33%) | (11) Caitlin's Court 16/1, Hurdles winner at Newton Abbot on 2023/24 return but ended the campaign out of form. Probably produced her best effort in any sphere after 13 weeks off when runner-up in handicap chase at Fakenham (21.2f, good to soft) just over 6 weeks ago and now reverts to hurdles. Cheekpieces reapplied. Second in small-field chase last time; on good hurdle mark but very inconsistent. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (3) (25/1 -108%) Drop Flight |
25/1(-108%) | (3) Drop Flight 25/1, Landed 5-runner hunter at Exeter in March prior to falling early in the Foxhunters' Chase at Aintree the following month. Easily best effort for this yard when a keeping-on third over 20f at Carlisle in October but disappointing both subsequent starts. Handicappers has dropped him 3 lb. Seemingly back in form when placed in October but two disappointing runs have followed. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (4) (40/1 -433%) Tintagel Queen |
40/1(-433%) | (4) Tintagel Queen 40/1, Went close in a Chepstow bumper and made a promising start over hurdles when third at Lingfield in November 2023. Not disgraced after almost a year off at Stratford on return but ran poorly on the softest ground she's tackled at Leicester (20.5f, heavy) last month. Makes handicap bow. Placed on hurdling debut in 2023; returned with two underwhelming runs in late 2024. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
MUTLEY CREW made no mistake on her handicap debut over 2m3f at Fontwell in October, before running with plenty of credit in third off a 6lb higher mark over a furlong further at Plumpton last time out. She was doing her best work in the closing stages on that occasion and, with her stamina drawn out further here, she gets the nod to make light of a 1lb rise. Keable doubtless has the ability to play a hand in a race like this and a 3lb rise for his recent second over an extended 3m at Wincanton doesn't discount a bold bid. Inspector Lynley is also noteworthy.
KEABLE has just a handful of starts to his name and, having stepped up on his reappearance when runner-up at Wincanton last month, he gets the nod to go one better and open his account. The main threat may emerge from Mutley Crew, who is also very lightly raced for her age and has taken her form up a notch since sent handicapping. Inspector Lynley and Caitlin's Court can do battle for third.
Mutley Crew has made a good start to her handicap career but the pick is KEABLE, who ran well in defeat at Wincanton last month.

1st (5) (9/4 +86%) Looking For Larry |
9/4(+86%) | (5) Looking For Larry 9/4, Point winner who posted career best in this sphere when taking 15-runner handicap here (17f, good to soft) in March 2023. There were some positives to glean from his comeback run following 20 months off at Chepstow but others make more appeal all the same. Dead-heated here in 2023; a possible if November's reappearance run did him good. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (8) (125/1 -279%) William Philo |
125/1(-279%) | (8) William Philo 125/1, Strong in the betting when getting off the mark over fences at Fontwell in April 2023 (final outing for Robert Walford). Little encouragement in 3 starts for current yard, though, and this 8-y-o has plenty to prove back from an 11-month absence. Looked out of sorts last season and returns from layoff with a lot to prove. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (6) (18/1 -140%) Drash On Ruby |
18/1(-140%) | (6) Drash On Ruby 18/1, Performed with credit all 4 starts during 2022/23 campaign, signing that season off by finishing second off a 2 lb higher mark at Chepstow. Missed whole of last term, though, and he was well beaten on his comeback run at that Welsh track at the end of October. Placed four times in 2022-23 season and probably needed her reappearance run in October. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (2) (10/3 -90%) Saint Cyr De Pail |
10/3(-90%) | (2) Saint Cyr De Pail 10/3, Won a maiden here in April and left his reappearance spin behind when runner-up on recent handicap debut at Bangor (19.6f, heavy). 3 lb nudge for that improved effort is fair enough and shapes as though this trip will be within range, so there is plenty of cause for optimism. 2m course winner last spring and a good second on last month's handicap debut (2m3f). |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (7) (25/1 +38%) Blackhillsofdakota |
25/1(+38%) | (7) Blackhillsofdakota 25/1, Fair hurdler/chaser but lightly raced and hasn't shown the same level of ability in Britain, offering precious little in 2 starts since returning from 16 months off in November. Cheekpieces refitted. Well beaten on both starts (chase/hurdle) since returning from a long layoff. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (4) (4/1 -33%) Paddys Island |
4/1(-33%) | (4) Paddys Island 4/1, Didn't need to improve much to open his account at the second time of asking at Stratford (16.3f, good) in July. Found out under a penalty in a better race at the same course next time but step back in the right direction when third of 11 on handicap bow upped to 18.7f on return in October. Placed over 2m2f on handicap debut in October and bred to be suited by this longer trip. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (9) (33/1 +34%) Instant De Bonheur |
33/1(+34%) | (9) Instant De Bonheur 33/1, Modest maiden who, following nearly 2 years on the sidelines, ran poorly on her reappearance over this C&D last month. Tailed off over C&D last month, after a long layoff; others look much more likely. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (11) (33/1 +34%) Of Corse I Can |
33/1(+34%) | (11) Of Corse I Can 33/1, In the frame in points and offered something to work on when second of 6 in novice hurdle at Ffos Las in June 2022. However, no impact since and she was pulled up in a first-time hood (on again here) when returning from a lengthy absence at Taunton. Pulled up in November, after a long absence, and now 0-7 over hurdles. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (3) (20/1 +0%) Thirtyfour Thirty |
20/1(+0%) | (3) Thirtyfour Thirty 20/1, Bumper/hurdles winner who was runner-up twice off higher marks during the spring but he hasn't shown much in 3 starts (over fences the last twice) since returning to action in October. Well beaten on all three stable starts in the autumn, the last twice over fences. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (1) (9/1 -157%) Danton |
9/1(-157%) | (1) Danton 9/1, Looked on the up when scoring over C&D last November and found just one too good at Chepstow during the spring. No surprise to see him back hurdling following a couple of low-key runs over fences and, provided the first-time cheekpieces have the desired effect, he should have a big part to play. C&D winner; reverts to hurdling with a point to prove but current mark is workable. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (10) (13/2 +13%) Missy Mole |
13/2(+13%) | (10) Missy Mole 13/2, Runner-up completed start in Irish points but little to shout about all 4 outings over hurdles (at up to 19.5f. On the upside, this stiffer test could be just what the doctor ordered and she's in good hands, so all is certainly not lost. Never dangerous over 2m on handicap debut but may fare better over this longer trip. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
A maiden hurdle winner here in April, SAINT CYR DE PAIL finished a respectable runner-up at Bangor for his handicap debut. This extra distance will likely bring further improvement and Jane Williams' charge looks the one to favour off his current mark. Paddys Island also appears to be fairly handicapped judged on his third at Stratford in October. He can feature again, while Danton reverts to hurdling with a chance if back on song.
The majority of these have something to prove for one reason or another but SAINT CYR DE PAIL doesn't fall into that camp. The 6-y-o landed a maiden here last term and is appealing on the back of an improved handicap debut second at Bangor where he left the impression that this stiffer test would help. Danton is feared most back hurdling, while Paddys Island is respected on the back of an encouraging enough run at Stratford and Missy Mole may be seen in a better light now upped in trip.
Saint Cyr De Pail and PADDYS ISLAND have very similar profiles but Robbie Llewellyn's stoutly bred runner may have the edge today.

1st (5) (7/2 +22%) Peacenik |
7/2(+22%) | (5) Peacenik 7/2, Promise when runner-up in a pair of bumpers in the mud early last year. Also shaped quite well when fourth in a warm Newbury maiden on hurdle debut in November and entitled to come on for that run. Second in both bumpers last season and made promising hurdle debut in November. e-w claims. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (1) (4/5 +0%) Crest Of Fortune |
4/5(+0%) | (1) Crest Of Fortune 4/5, Bumper winner who made a winning start over hurdles at Ffos Las in November. Couldn't live with a smart prospect at Haydock since but remains capable of better and the one to beat here. Created good impression on hurdle debut and was second to a smart one last time. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (2) (6/4 +8%) Kap Vert |
6/4(+8%) | (2) Kap Vert 6/4, Runner-up in a point and promising start over hurdles in recent months, building on debut fifth to the reopposing Crest of Fortune at Ffos Las when staying on well to win a C&D novice 26 days ago. Definitely more to come. Kept on well for clearcut C&D win last month and can probably improve again. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (8) (125/1 -25%) What U Wanna Do Is |
125/1(-25%) | (8) What U Wanna Do Is 125/1, Well held in 2 bumpers (trained by James Owen first occasion) and a C&D maiden hurdle. Almost certainly booked for another struggle. Never got seriously competitive when 250-1 for hurdle debut over C&D two weeks ago. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (7) (50/1 +24%) Tractor Jack |
50/1(+24%) | (7) Tractor Jack 50/1, Well held in novice hurdles at Newton Abbot and over C&D nearly 7 months apart (had wind surgery in between). With a good stable but was well beaten on first two starts. |

|PU| (3) (100/1 -52%) Devon Blue |
100/1(-52%) | (3) Devon Blue 100/1, Well held in a bumper (for Victor Dartnall) and maiden hurdle 9 months apart. Tailed off when 200-1 for seasonal/stable/hurdle debut in November. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (9) (150/1 -500%) Winnaretta |
150/1(-500%) | (9) Winnaretta 150/1, Modest maiden handicapper on Flat (stays 1¼m), below form last 3 starts. Not an obvious one to make a winning start to her hurdle career. Regressive Flat maiden; sports new headgear combination on hurdle debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (4) (200/1 -203%) Eric Gorcombe |
200/1(-203%) | (4) Eric Gorcombe 200/1, No show in points and likely outsider on hurdle debut. Showed no significant promise in three points last spring; makes rules debut today. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
CREST OF FORTUNE ran well again when second over today's distance in a competitive contest at Haydock. He was successful over 2m4f at Ffos Las before that with Kap Vert back in fifth and is taken to confirm superiority. The latter subsequently franked that form when successful over C&D and another good account seems assured, while Peacenik will be sharper for a comeback run at Newbury in November and looks best of the remainder.
This might develop into a straight fight between previous hurdle winners CREST OF FORTUNE and Kap Vert. The former had Kap Vert around 10 lengths behind him when the pair clashed at Ffos Las in November and can confirm his superiority over Ronnie Bartlett's charge. Peacenik is clear best of the rest.
This will probably be fought out by CREST OF FORTUNE and Kap Vert, who were both quite stylish winners towards the end of 2024.

1st (3) (10/3 +26%) Flash Gorcombe |
10/3(+26%) | (3) Flash Gorcombe 10/3, Notched 3 chase wins (at up to 20.2f) last season. Should be straighter for last month's hurdling return and is only 2 lb above his last winning mark. Triple chase winner in early part of year; probably needed last month's hurdle run. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (4) (11/8 +50%) Joe Cotton |
11/8(+50%) | (4) Joe Cotton 11/8, Point winner who made a winning chasing bow over C&D in March and has run to a similar level the last twice, latest when second of 6 to Boys of Wexford in handicap chase at Fontwell (21.6f, good) 45 days ago. Merits consideration. C&D winner on chase debut in March and returns here after two good seconds in the autumn. |

15/2(-15%) | (1) Havaila 15/2, Fair winner at 20f over hurdles this time last year but not scored since and hasn't really threatened in a couple of starts over the larger obstacles. 4/1(+67%) | (5) Daring Plan 4/1, Lightly-raced maiden hurdler who has yet to make an impact in a couple of starts over fences and is hard to fancy. Placed twice here over hurdles; yet to click over fences but drops in grade today. |

|PU| (6) (7/1 +22%) Toronet |
7/1(+22%) | (6) Toronet 7/1, Winner of a French claiming hurdle in February of 2023 but was more miss than hit for Laura Morgan, running no sort of race when last seen in October. Since joined new yard/had wind operation and market may prove best guide to claims here. Ran poorly on latest outing in October but starts off for new stable on tempting mark. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
BOYS OF WEXFORD had over four lengths to spare when scoring from Joe Cotton at Fontwell on his penultimate outing, and a 5lb pull in the favour of the latter may not be enough to overturn that form. Henry Oliver's charge has since run with plenty of credit over 2m5f at Hereford and he can notch up a third career success. Placed on two starts over C&D last season, Flash Gorcombe is another to consider.
Preference is for JOE COTTON, who has acquitted himself well in recent outings and returns to the scene of his successful chase debut. Flash Gorcombe and Boys of Wexford should also go well.
There may well be more to come from JOE COTTON (nap), who was second twice in the autumn and a wide-margin C&D winner last term.

25/1(+50%) | (3) False Impression 25/1, Telescope gelding. Dam, little impact in bumpers/over hurdles, half-sister to fairly useful hurdler (stays 2¾m) College Oak. Newcomer from a stable that's only 1-46 in bumpers recent seasons. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
With a dam hailing from the family of Denman and a half-brother to the talented Gidleigh Park, BOSSMAN JACK has a lofty pedigree to live up to on his Rules debut. The form of his stable is a big plus, and he can strike first time out at the main expense of point-to-point winning newcomer Talk To The Man, whose own dam is an unraced sister to another Gold Cup winner in Lord Windermere. Of those with experience, Kripticjim stands out after a relatively promising debut at Newton Abbot.
TALK TO THE MAN has joined top connections on the back of landing a point and he should take some stopping on his first go under Rules. Bossman Jack makes plenty of appeal on pedigree and Arctic Conditions is also worthy of respect based on what he's done between the flags.
Talk To The Man seems highly regarded but KRIPTICJIM shaped well in a Newton Abbot bumper that has worked out really well.
Ths is the racecard key.
