13:55 Dundalk Claimer 6f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

DISTILLATE recorded a fifth career win when successful over 7f at Cork in September and has been generally consistent since, including when placed here on his latest two starts. He shouldn't be inconvenienced by this drop back in trip and probably has most to fear from stablemate Clonmacash, who won a nursery over C&D 12 months ago and wasn't disgraced on his first outing for current connections at the Curragh recently. Sporting Hero was a close fourth behind Inishmot Prince at Navan and hasn't enjoyed a clear passage twice since, but appears best at 5f. There shouldn't be much to choose between Livingston Range and Land Rover judged on running behind My Girl Sioux here last Friday.

SPORTING HERO was a dual AW winner when trained in Britain and is potentially quite a classy sort for a claimer. Distillate may prove best of the McGuinness trio and provide the chief threat ahead of the selection's stablemate Land Lover.

Denis Hogan may have found a suitable opportunity for SPORTING HERO to add to the two AW wins gained in Britain early his career

14:25 Dundalk Handicap 6f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

EL FONTENARO showed promise in a 7f Gowran maiden back in July and ran a cracker when dropped to the minimum trip in a Naas nursery last time, beating all bar Tommy McJohn. That form can be upgraded as he was probably inconvenienced by a low draw. Tomarlo enters calculations after keeping on well into fourth over 5f here last month, while Movin And Groovin also showed some promise on her latest start here over 7f. There isn't much to choose between Drish Samphire and Sea Fort on running at Navan last month, while first reserve Skillman Ave is another to consider if getting a run.

EL FONTENARO was first home in her group when second at Naas last time and with the step back up in trip expected to suit, she looks the pick at the weights. Temps Leve looks a very likely improver now allotted a mark, with Tomarlo completing the shortlist.

There are several potential dark horses lurking but the form horse is arguably EL FONTENARO, whose 5f Naas run was encouraging

15:00 Dundalk Maiden 7f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

DECLAREE has proved a frustrating sort to follow, but appears to have been found a good opportunity to finally open her account. The Johnny Murtagh-trained filly takes a big drop in class after tackling a Naas Listed race last time and was placed on all seven previous outings, including over this trip at Fairyhouse. Authenticate has indicated some ability in two outings here, including after a lengthy layoff last Friday. Bahama Bear wasn't disgraced after a slow start on debut over 6f here last month, while Modern Talking is another who could progress from an initial outing at Galway recently.

DECLAREE found listed company a bridge too far on her latest outing, yet she'd previously gone close to breaking her duck in a Fairyhouse maiden over this trip in September. She's given the vote to come out on top back in calmer waters. Joseph O'Brien pair Winsome and Authenticate both appeal as the types who can do better and head up the dangers.

It is tempting to oppose DECLAREE, an odds-on loser on her most recent attempt in a maiden. However, there is no strong alternative

15:35 Dundalk Handicap 7f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

DEVIL'S ANGEL won eight times in the UK, including over this trip, and having joined current connections earlier this year, has dropped down to a competitive mark. The selection finished strongly when narrowly denied over 6f here last month and should be suited by the step back up in trip. Ferrari Desert confirmed the promise of her third to Purring Along in a 27-runner Curragh handicap when scoring over C&D last week and rates a serious danger off just a 5lb higher mark, while Velvet Skies also advertised his chance here last time when beating all bar Marble Angel. Are You In Or Out ran a cracker on soft ground at the Curragh and is a threat if reproducing that form on this surface.

DEVIL'S ANGEL is on a long losing run but rates the pick of the weights on the back of his very good recent third here so earns the vote in this very open handicap. Ferrari Desert is feared most on the back of her C&D success, although the likes of Jackie Brown, Are You In Or Out and Velvet Skies all need considering.

A 5lb rise for last week's C&D win may not prevent a follow-up here for FERRARI DESERT (nap)

16:10 Dundalk Handicap 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

BELLA COLOMBIA won on debut here last season and appeals on her return to the Polytrack for the first time this year. She has been generally consistent and finished well under a patient ride at Gowran last time when fourth to Thrifty Of Digby. Future Cutlet was runner-up in a Galway Festival maiden before opening his account at Down Royal and has scope for further improvement now switching to a handicap for the first time. Ard Na Mara won a 1m1f Punchestown maiden and may have been unsuited by longer trips on both outings since, while Nakasero and Mags are others to consider.

FUTURE CUTLET could have more to offer now handicapping on AW and can follow up his Down Royal victory. Mags is the obvious danger, while Ard Na Mara is respected on her AW debut after a good run in a big-field handicap at Leopardstown.

Quite open but perhaps MAGS can gain a deserved first success now tried at 1m. Future Cutlet and Nakasero look the dangers

16:45 Dundalk Handicap 10.5f  Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

GARDONE has joined the in-form Eric McNamara this year and successfully switched to this surface in decisive fashion over C&D in August. The selection slightly spoiled his chance at the start before finishing well to take second on his only subsequent outing. Barretstown added to two course wins when scoring over 1m2f at Cork back in May and has shaped well on both outings since, while Koniag won over a mile at Leopardstown this summer and had Areana behind when runner-up to Church Mountain (won again since) over C&D last month. Colin Keane is an interesting booking on Tastyee, while Gallo Dell Cielo and Designer Cailin are others to note.

GARDONE has been in fine form here and can resume winning ways. Areana and Barretstown are a couple of the dangers.

Second to an improver over C&D last month, KONIAG can go one better here, chiefly at the expense of Gardone

17:15 Dundalk Handicap 11f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

DANCING STEVE showed promise on a couple of occasions before he was successful over 1m1f at Tipperary and was making his first visit to this venue last month when finishing well into third behind Church Mountain (won again since). The World's Astage had a list of placed efforts this summer but needs to bounce back after disappointing at Clonmel, while Cleopatra's Needle won over hurdles at Fairyhouse last month. Any market move for Thegooseiscooked would be significant after catching the eye when staying on over shorter trips on her latest two starts. Poppadom was just denied at Gowran last time, but appears best on soft ground.

DANCING STEVE ran well on his first visit to Dundalk last month and has a good shout with his rider able to claim 3 lb this time. Streetscape is interesting on his return, while Cleopatra's Needle must be respected after her Fairyhouse hurdles win.

Race-fitness and a decent draw can give DANCING STEVE the edge here over the reappearing Streetscape

About U.K Horse Racing

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.

Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.

In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.

Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
