The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
Runner-up in a similar race at Naas 11 days ago, EL FONTENARO had a few of these trailing in behind her that day and she can go one better here with that appearing to be a key piece of nursery form. Weegeebear was just a head behind in third that day and is a must for the shortlist now facing his old rival off the same terms. The class-dropping Barton Key is respected having dropped 3lb from her nursery debut, while Moonhall Lass completes the shortlist.
ERIC LOCK took a step back in the right direction at Naas and gets the vote down another 3 lb in a race that doesn't look as strong. El Fontenaro and Weegeebear are a couple of the others to consider.

9/2(+10%) | (5) State Of Joy 9/2, 8/1, eighth of 14 in maiden at this C&D (good to firm) 24 days ago. Midfield finish on C&D debut early this month mildly encouraging; should come on for that. |

2nd (8) (22/1 -57%) Reponse Finale |
22/1(-57%) | (8) Reponse Finale 22/1, 40/1, ninth of 14 in maiden at Naas (7f, good to firm) on debut 11 days ago, not knocked about. Fractious before start then never counted on recent Naas debut; probably best watched. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (14) (5/1 -50%) Wonderfulwonderful |
5/1(-50%) | (14) Wonderfulwonderful 5/1, Twice-raced filly. 28/1, much improved when third of 12 in maiden claimer at Naas (8f, good to firm) 11 days ago. Good shout on that form. Naas claiming maiden third behind colts makes her a leading player here. |

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
WONDERFULWONDERFUL possibly has the best form on offer after being beaten less than a length into third at Naas, but that was a maiden claimer and she will need to improve again to take this. Fairhaven is an obvious danger after she came home third at Roscommon last month and she can go well if her visor helps, but the once-raced State Of Joy may be the bigger danger. Only eighth here over C&D earlier this month, she looked the sort to learn plenty for that experience.
WONDERFULWONDERFUL took a big step forward when third at Naas and looks the way to go. Fairhaven has a race in her, while Arctic Steps is 1 of 2 interesting newcomers for Jessica Harrington.
Recent Naas third WONDERFULWONDERFUL (nap) looks the one to beat off her low weight

1st (2) (9/4 +100%) Future Cutlet |
9/4(+100%) | (2) Future Cutlet 9/4, Thrice-raced gelding. Much improved when second of 9 in maiden at Galway (7f, good to soft, 6/1) 62 days ago. Sets a high standard. 6s second at Galway back at 7f (yielding); Lee remains loyal; should go well. |

3rd (6) (11/1 +56%) Carried With Love |
11/1(+56%) | (6) Carried With Love 11/1, Twice-raced filly. 66/1, fourteenth of 22 in maiden at the Curragh (10f, good) 37 days ago, slowly away. Down in trip. RPRs about 44 in maidens over about 10f on nice ground, 66s latest. |

6th (5) (125/1 -89%) Silk Degrees |
125/1(-89%) | (5) Silk Degrees 125/1, Once-raced gelding. 66/1, last of 13 in maiden at Cork (8f, good to firm) on debut 19 days ago. 66s, last and beaten 27l at Cork. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
It may pay to persevere with the improving FUTURE CUTLET, who posted his best effort to date when runner-up over this distance at Galway in late July. The Buratino gelding is fancied to open his account at the fourth time of asking, for all that there are some intriguing newcomers on show. 485,000gns recruit Winsome tops the list under the tutelage of Joseph O'Brien, ahead of Sweet Thing, who is a sister to the precocious Golden Dragon.
Not a strong maiden and FUTURE CUTLET could be hard to beat with a repeat of his Galway second. Winsome cost a fortune as a yearling and might have found a good opening.
Future Cutlet is perfectly solid and should go well again but the standard is not especially hot and WINSOME could well be prevail

1st (9) (7/1 -75%) Alex Belardo |
7/1(-75%) | (9) Alex Belardo 7/1, In-form maiden who came in third of 9 in handicap at Musselburgh (7.1f, good) 34 days ago, left with too much to do. Bold showing is on the cards eased 1 lb. Maiden a key player on form this year even if hold-up tactics not necessarily ideal here. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (4) (7/2 +13%) I Bid You Ajou |
7/2(+13%) | (4) I Bid You Ajou 7/2, 7/1, good fourth of 16 in handicap at Cork (7f, good to firm) 19 days ago. Ought to be in the shake-up. Behind Dear Daphne at Cork but will probably reverse that form; maiden knocking on door. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||

15/2(+25%) | (7) Hijo De La Luna 15/2, Fifth of 10 in novice hurdle (33/1) at Downpatrick (17.8f, good to soft) on NH debut 10 days ago. Significantly back down in trip. Cheekpieces on 1st time. Much his best run this term was over C&D but hard to have much faith; cheekpieces now. |

11/2(-10%) | (10) Elliott 11/2, Good fourth of 17 in handicap at Fairyhouse (6f, good, 33/1) 7 days ago. Very much one to consider. Sole win came at 5f; first shot beyond sprint trips and chances are he will not stay. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (3) (7/1 -40%) Glamorously |
7/1(-40%) | (3) Glamorously 7/1, Twelve runs since last win in 2023. 9/2, seventh of 11 in handicap at Fairyhouse (7f, good) 7 days ago. Visor back on. Often runs well and, while latest was disappointing, has a chance; often misses the break. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (11) (8/1 +20%) Spirit Of Eagles |
8/1(+20%) | (11) Spirit Of Eagles 8/1, Course winner. One win from 24 Flat runs. 14/1, below form ninth of 17 in handicap at Fairyhouse (6f, good) 7 days ago. Fifteen runs since last win in 2023. Another unproven at 7f; is also hard to settle so risky; she isn't out of it on form; 1-24. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (5) (9/2 +44%) Madame Plaintiff |
9/2(+44%) | (5) Madame Plaintiff 9/2, 9/1 and blinkered for 1st time, below form fifth of 9 in handicap at Gowran (9.4f, good) 9 days ago, slowly away. Back down in trip. Cheekpieces on 1st time. Yard greatly respected but she went backwards after Gowran win early in term; headgear. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (1) (16/1 +0%) Big Baby Bull |
16/1(+0%) | (1) Big Baby Bull 16/1, 80/1, fourteenth of 16 in handicap at Navan (8.1f, good) 32 days ago. Every chance if back to best. Last pair of six wins were in claimers last year; seems to be regressing. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (8) (28/1 -133%) Inflection Point |
28/1(-133%) | (8) Inflection Point 28/1, Unreliable type. First run since leaving James McAuley when creditable sixth of 16 in handicap (50/1) at Gowran (7f, good) 65 days ago. Cheekpieces on 1st time. Latest a nice effort and perhaps cheekpieces will help; 3lb drop in weights will. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (6) (80/1 -142%) Hasiyna |
80/1(-142%) | (6) Hasiyna 80/1, 100/1, seventh of 9 in maiden at Galway (7f, good to soft) 62 days ago. Hood back on. Very hard to make a case for. Great chance on maiden form; latest a bit better but 4yo form underwhelming; hood back on. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (2) (12/1 -71%) Dear Daphne |
12/1(-71%) | (2) Dear Daphne 12/1, 40/1, excellent third of 16 in handicap at Cork (7f, good to firm) 19 days ago. Claims. County Armagh yard's last winner was over two years ago; she offers hope of one. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
A highly-encouraging third when not beaten far over this distance at Cork last time out, DEAR DAPHNE is taken to build upon that performance as she looks to gain a first success for her new connections. I Bid You Ajou (fourth) has just under a length to make up with the selection from that contest and he is likely to be thereabouts, along with the consistent Alex Belardo, who has been placed on three of his last four starts. Elliott and Inflection Point are capable of being in the shake-up as well.
ALEX BELARDO didn't enjoy the rub of the green when third at Musselburgh last time out so is fancied to gain a deserved first success off a 1 lb lower mark here. Elliott heads the list of dangers on the back of his good Fairyhouse fourth, with in-form duo I Bid You Ajou and Dear Daphne also well in the mix.
A trappy contest. ALEX BELARDO is knocking on the door and is a tentative choice. Glamorously, is an obvious danger

2nd (6) (17/2 +15%) Barretstown |
17/2(+15%) | (6) Barretstown 17/2, Latest win at Cork in May. Respectable fifth of 17 in handicap at Gowran (9.5f, good, 14/1) 65 days ago. Merits consideration. Often gives his running and followed gutsy Cork work win (yielding) with Gowran fifth. |

16/1(-14%) | (4) Thefullbackline 16/1, Ninth of 14 in handicap at Gowran (8f, good, 20/1) 9 days ago. Significantly back up in trip. Chance if rediscovering old form. Never a factor latest but stayed on and definite chance back up in yardage.. |

4/1(+38%) | (13) Boomerang Bill 4/1, 11/4, eighth of 11 in handicap at Tramore (12f, good to soft) 44 days ago. Othes appeal more. Yard had fine year; looked to be getting there with Navan fifth only to flop at Tramore. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (5) (40/1 -21%) Darkened |
40/1(-21%) | (5) Darkened 40/1, Latest win at Dundalk in March. Eighth of 11 in handicap hurdle at Downpatrick (17.8f, good to soft, 33/1) 10 days ago. Others more persuasive. Yard landed gamble last week, hard to see it here (long odds and not at his best of late). |

11/1(+8%) | (11) So Messi 11/1, Respectable tenth of 21 in handicap at Leopardstown (9f, good, 10/1) 81 days ago. Looks competitive on form. Modest and exposed but chance at his best; yard had really quiet campaign. |

10/1(-122%) | (7) Cannes Do 10/1, 12/1, improved on recent efforts to win 15-runner handicap at Roscommon (7.4f, soft) 28 days ago. Significantly back up in trip. Can give a good account. Possibly telling she finally came good over extended 7f latest (soft), trip a concern. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (12) (25/1 +24%) Honrado |
25/1(+24%) | (12) Honrado 25/1, 25/1, ninth of 14 in handicap at Dundalk (10.7f) 10 days ago. Others more persuasive. Thereabouts on his British form but quiet since joining rookie trainer. |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (14) (28/1 +15%) Pro Bono |
28/1(+15%) | (14) Pro Bono 28/1, First run since leaving Conor O'Dwyer when fifth of 13 in handicap hurdle (33/1) at Tramore (16.6f, good) 12 days ago. Modest on the Flat so more is needed. Good chance at his best but will hardly show that here and rising 10. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (10) (14/1 +13%) Lady Delila |
14/1(+13%) | (10) Lady Delila 14/1, Respectable fifth of 14 in handicap at Dundalk (10.7f, 28/1) 46 days ago. Cheekpieces on 1st time. Needs considering. Took the eye in fourth to Barretstown at Cork and weighted to get much closer now. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (9) (80/1 -60%) Chica Linda |
80/1(-60%) | (9) Chica Linda 80/1, Last of 11 in handicap (40/1) at Tramore (12f, good to soft) 44 days ago. Can make presence felt if shrugging off latest effort. Frustrating filly struggling for form, 40s last twice. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
13th (2) (17/2 -6%) Dancing Steve |
17/2(-6%) | (2) Dancing Steve 17/2, Winner at Tipperary in September. Below form seventh of 16 in handicap (11/1) at Listowel (8f, good to soft) 7 days ago. Significantly back up in trip with more required. Went close here 66s earlier in year and not winning out of turn at Tipperary (1m1f, good). |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
TATUM placed on all three starts in nursery company and the daughter of Postponed is a most attractive proposition on her belated seasonal debut from a potentially very lenient mark. Having won over 1m2f at Cork on his penultimate start, Barretstown appears to be the chief danger to the selection off just 3lb higher, while Redemptive Power and Darkened are a couple of other appealing options to monitor closely in the betting.
Gavin Cromwell's REDEMPTIVE POWER advanced his form when runner-up at Dundalk last time and with few miles still on the clock he looks the way to go. So Messi is weighted to have a say and could emerge as the main danger, although Little Lady Lucy, Cannes Do and Barretstown are also in the picture in this very open handicap.
An interesting betting heat with the unexposed \LITTLE LADY LUCY\p a hopeful pick. Tatum is feared as isRedemptive Power

5th (12) (20/1 -100%) Sceptred Isle |
20/1(-100%) | (12) Sceptred Isle 20/1, 2 wins from 3 runs this year. Career best when winning 14-runner handicap (12/1) at Leopardstown (15f, good to soft) 67 days ago, slowly away. 11/1(+8%) | (6) Golden Circet 11/1, Lightly-raced winner. 11/4, career best when winning 6-runner maiden at Clonmel (9.6f, good) 25 days ago. Significantly up in trip. Stable in good form. Needs considering. Won Clonmel maiden latest; 6lb rise might be harsh but going the right way; tricky draw. |

33/1(-230%) | (8) Rockview Consort 33/1, 9/4, sixth of 14 in handicap at Dundalk (16f), left poorly placed. Off 7 months. Can give a good account. Not seen since mad race dominated by one horse on AW, only 9-4 then on back of fine second. |

10th (2) (66/1 +0%) Firstman |
66/1(+0%) | (2) Firstman 66/1, Seventeenth of 22 in handicap at Leopardstown (13f, good, 125/1) 16 days ago. Chance if rediscovering old form. Began the term brightly but not sure what happened since; at least down markedly in grade. |

11th (9) (28/1 -300%) Redwood Queen |
28/1(-300%) | (9) Redwood Queen 28/1, Thrice-raced maiden on Flat. Useful winner at 20f over hurdles. Eighth of 11 in maiden (20/1) at Gowran (14f, good to soft) 27 days ago, left poorly placed. Much respected on her handicap debut. Highly progressive hurdler this year for shrewd yard; market hard to call; noted. |

22/1(-57%) | (7) Party Dress 22/1, Lightly-raced winner on Flat. 1 win from 2 runs this year. Good second of 8 in novice hurdle (9/2) at this course (16.9f, good) on NH debut 31 days ago. Stable having good spell. Should go well again. Ran OK in second here on hurdling debut latest, having won maiden on seasonal return. |

13th (13) (14/1 -27%) Northern Sonas |
14/1(-27%) | (13) Northern Sonas 14/1, Landed 7-runner handicap at Navan (14f, good, 3/1) 32 days ago, all out. One for the shortlist. Strong in the market and stayed surprisingly well when scoring at Navan a month ago. |

14th (5) (5/1 -43%) Scatchwah |
5/1(-43%) | (5) Scatchwah 5/1, Promising type. Career best when winning 15-runner handicap at Roscommon (12.1f, soft, 12/1) 28 days ago. Big shout. Different ground but backed up Tipperary second with last-to-first Roscommon win. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
A few with chances but preference is for SCATCHWAH, who recorded a comfortable success at Roscommon earlier this month. Sheila Lavery's charge is 6lb higher on this occasion, but, with further improvement likely, that could prove lenient. Sceptred Isle brought up a double at Leopardstown in July and must be respected following a short absence, while others to note include Gangster Granny, Ard Na Mara and Sixpack.
Lots with chances but SCATCHWAH still looks ahead of his mark despite being raised 6 lb for his recent Roscommon victory so gets the vote. Redwood Queen appeals as a likely improver now going handicapping so heads the list of dangers with Sceptred Isle, Ard Na Mara, Gangster Granny and Party Dress all in the mix too.
PARTY DRESS makes plenty of appeal dropping back in trip. That said, Scatchwah is progressing nicely and could have a big say again
Ths is the racecard key.
