1st (6) ![]() Glenashling |
14/1(+79%) | (6) Glenashling 14/1, Thrice-raced maiden. 150/1, eighth of 14 in novice hurdle at Navan (15.7f, heavy) 36 days ago. Hooded for 1st time. Mild promise in two of three starts, hood now tried, in good hands, may need more time. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (7) ![]() Hello Jack |

5th (5) ![]() Colvin |
20/1(+20%) | (5) Colvin 20/1, Yeats gelding. Closely related to bumper winner Lanty Slea, stayed 21f. Wears tongue strap. Son of Yeats, dam won at 2m2f-2m3f, worth a market check on belated debut; tongue tied. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

16/1(+76%) | (11) Savant Du Mesnil 16/1, Twice-raced maiden under NH rules. Eighth of 15 in novice hurdle at this course (20.1f, good to soft, 80/1) on hurdles bow 81 days ago. Third runner for yard, JJ Slevin prefers the chances of Krak, others more likely. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (17) ![]() Rushes And Whins |
80/1(-60%) | (17) Rushes And Whins 80/1, Wings of Eagles mare. Dam (b93) bumper winner out of fairly useful 2m-2½m hurdle winner Felinious. Wings Of Eagles debutante, cheap purchase but not a bad pedigree; check the market. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (16) ![]() Zuzukel |
80/1(+20%) | (16) Zuzukel 80/1, Fair maiden on the Flat. Thrice-raced maiden. Twelfth of 20 in novice hurdle at Gowran (16.1f, heavy, 100/1) 9 days ago, not knocked about. Hooded for 1st time. 0-3 over hurdles, beaten 51l latest, hood and tongue tie combination needs to transform. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (1) ![]() Fortune The Brave |
20/1(-43%) | (1) Fortune The Brave 20/1, Promising sort. Fairly useful winner at 20f in bumpers. 11/2, tenth of 18 in novice hurdle at Leopardstown (16f, good to soft) on hurdles bow 15 days ago. May well do better. Midfield on hurdles debut after break, extra furlong to suit here, should do better. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|F| (3) ![]() Quantum Leap |
50/1(+24%) | (3) Quantum Leap 50/1, Fairly useful Flat winner. First run since leaving Ed Bethell when ninth of 12 in maiden at Punchestown (16.7f, heavy, 80/1) on hurdle debut 21 days ago. Useful on the Flat, no impact on Irish hurdles debut, can only be watched after that. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|U| (19) ![]() Chancing Dreams |
33/1(+0%) | (19) Chancing Dreams 33/1, €18,000 3-y-o, Shirocco gelding. Half-brother to 4 winners, including useful hurdler Pyffo and fairly useful hurdle/chase winner Mr Glass. Check the betting for this newcomer. Shirocco gelding, plenty of winners in pedigree, worth a market check on debut. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (9) ![]() On The Cards |
100/1(+0%) | (9) On The Cards 100/1, Fair maiden on the Flat, making GB/IRE jumps debut. 100/1, thirteenth of 14 in handicap at Dundalk (10.7f) 89 days ago. Modest Flat maiden, probably best watched on hurdles debut unless money comes. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (18) ![]() Are We Dancing |
200/1(-100%) | (18) Are We Dancing 200/1, Thrice-raced maiden. 300/1, last of 12 in juvenile hurdle at Navan (16f, heavy) 16 days ago. No show in three maiden hurdles at big prices, better ground may help but hard to fancy. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (10) ![]() Rockandrose |
50/1(+50%) | (10) Rockandrose 50/1, Winning pointer, third last time (Jan 2023). Makes a very belated hurdle debut. Point winner, 10yo now makes belated Rules' debut after long layoff, watch. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
13th (20) ![]() Itcantjustbeluck |
100/1(+0%) | (20) Itcantjustbeluck 100/1, Yorgunnabelucky gelding. Dam lightly raced on Flat. Yorgunnabelucky gelding, not a lot of stamina in pedigree, best watched on debut. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|DQ| (4) ![]() Walk On The Beach |
4/7(+75%) | (4) Walk On The Beach 4/7, Promising sort. 1 win from 3 runs this season. Second of 20 in maiden at Naas (15.5f, heavy, 8/1) on hurdles bow 22 days ago, running on. Should progress. Bumper winner, fine effort on hurdles debut at Naas, sounder surface fine, big chance. |
WALK ON THE BEACH won a Killarney bumper last summer and created a good impression on his return when tacking hurdles for the first time at Naas last month. Runner-up that day to a Willie Mullins-trained odds-on favourite, the six-year-old is expected to have improved for the run and this slight step up in trip will suit too. Krak's third to Ballybow is good form and he must enter calculations for a shrewd yard, while Hello Jack boasts a similar profile and point-to-point winner Sporting Glance could get closer to the selection now sent hurdling after a break.
KRAK shaped well in a couple of similar events around the turn of the year and can make it third time lucky. Bumper winner Walk On The Beach rates an obvious danger on the back of his hurdle debut second last month, while Hello Jack should have more to offer for Gordon Elliott.
WALK ON THE BEACH is preferred, he shaped well on his hurdling debut at Naas and he should improve for this better ground

Looks competitive on form. Handicap debutant, won a Kilbeggan maiden, form of last run worked out, interesting. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Chef's Kiss |
(12) 12/1(0%) | (12) Chef's Kiss 12/1, 4/1, bit below form seventh of 12 in handicap hurdle at Fairyhouse (16f, soft) 51 days ago. Back up in trip. Claims on his penultimate Limerick third. Ran well on h'cap debut at Limerick, trip and ground not ideal latest, each-way claims. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
1st (1) ![]() Timmy Tuesday |
9/4(+36%) | (1) Timmy Tuesday 9/4, Winner in hurdle at Ayr in January. Creditable third of 6 in novice hurdle (5/2) at Exeter (18.5f, soft) 36 days ago. Ought to be in the shake-up. Won h'cap debut off 4lb higher, solid effort at Exeter latest, back up in trip, chance. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (5) ![]() Kinbara Firstdraft |
9/1(+55%) | (5) Kinbara Firstdraft 9/1, Latest win in hurdle at Ayr in November. 16 lengths fourth of 7 to Timmy Tuesday in handicap hurdle (11/2) at Ayr (20.4f, soft) 55 days ago. Not easy to make a case for. 2-9 over hurdles, well held behind Timmy Tuesday latest, more needed to turn that around. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (8) ![]() Down Around |
7/1(+22%) | (8) Down Around 7/1, One win from 21 NH runs. 13/2, creditable fifth of 17 in handicap hurdle at Leopardstown (16f, good to soft) 15 days ago. Back up in trip. Can make presence felt. Won off 9lb lower at Thurles, two sound efforts off revised mark since, place chance. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (7) ![]() Lygon Lad |
16/1(+20%) | (7) Lygon Lad 16/1, 14/1, eleventh of 14 in handicap hurdle at Naas (18.7f, heavy) 50 days ago. Can give a good account if shrugging off latest effort. Good run on h'cap debut at Navan, hasn't built on that, beaten 48l latest, a bit to prove. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (10) ![]() Whale Harbour |
16/1(+20%) | (10) Whale Harbour 16/1, Lightly-raced maiden. Creditable third of 15 in novice hurdle at Ballinrobe (16.3f, good to soft) on his final run for Gavin Cromwell but pulled up at Fairyhouse on his yard/handicap hurdle debut last month. Promise in maidens for former yard, pulled up on stable and handicap debut, watch. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (9) ![]() Interchangeable |
14/1(+0%) | (9) Interchangeable 14/1, Winner in hurdle at Naas in December. Thirteenth of 14 in handicap hurdle at Naas (18.7f, heavy, 10/1) 50 days ago. Needs a couple of these to falter. Well backed for maiden win at Navan, ground may not have suited latest, capable of better. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (4) ![]() Iamagetaway |
5/1(+44%) | (4) Iamagetaway 5/1, Promising sort. First run since leaving James Andrew Fahey when creditable seventh of 20 in handicap hurdle at Gowran (19.8f, heavy, 22/1) 30 days ago. One to consider with better to come. 2m5f maiden hurdle winner on good, may have needed latest, could go well at a price. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (2) ![]() Savante |
5/2(+50%) | (2) Savante 5/2, 2 wins from 6 runs this season. Promising eighth of 19 in handicap hurdle (4/1) at Leopardstown (18f, good to soft) 43 days ago, left poorly placed. Open to progress. Player. Bumper and maiden winner, promise on h'cap bow, this trip and ground will suit, claims. |
TIMMY TUESDAY was a ready winner at Ayr before recording a respectable third in a class 2 novice hurdle at Exeter. Those two runs look to be the strongest pieces of form and Gordon Elliott's lightly-raced seven-year-old is taken to defy top weight. Kinbara Firstdraft was an eyecatcher when fourth in that race at Ayr and is dangerous to rule out. Fellow class-dropper Savante is another must for the shortlist. Smooth Scotch and Grann's Boy are each-way contenders.
Lots with chances but the vote goes to SAVANTE who shaped well when a running-on eighth at Leopardstown last time out and can gain a second success in this sphere now. Grann's Boy starts life in handicaps on a decent mark so rates the chief threat ahead of Iamagetaway, Timmy Tuesday and Smooth Scotch.
Preference is for SAVANTE (nap). This is easier than the race she contested at Leopardstown last time and she is 2-3 going right-handed

||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (21) ![]() Le Bugiste |
20/1(-100%) | (21) Le Bugiste 20/1, Lightly-raced maiden. 11/2, pulled up in handicap hurdle at Thurles (15.6f, good to soft) 11 days ago. Up in trip. Others more persuasive. RESERVE. Ran no sort of race at Thurles 11 days ago, some promise here previously; reserve. |

13/2(-8%) | (9) Ar Nos Na Gaoithe 13/2, Career best when winning 13-runner handicap hurdle at Clonmel (19f, soft, 17/2) 32 days ago, pushed out. Has to be taken seriously. Emphatic Clonmel winner could well have more to offer off 8lb higher on better ground. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

40/1(-60%) | (18) Bella Union 40/1, Tenth of 14 in handicap hurdle at Kilbeggan (19f, soft, 14/1). Off 6 months. Back from a break and not an obvious one but ground should suit. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

7/1(+0%) | (2) Millyupdahilly 7/1, Lightly-raced maiden. 40/1, very good second of 8 in handicap hurdle at Ayr (20.4f, soft) 34 days ago. Should continue to give a good account. Ayr handicap debut second a big improvement; more required here though. |

||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (5) ![]() Sir Carnegie |
50/1(-213%) | (5) Sir Carnegie 50/1, Lightly-raced maiden. 250/1, seventh of 10 in novice hurdle at Punchestown (20.1f, heavy) 21 days ago. Re-joined yard after leaving Miss Tara Lee Cogan. Makes handicap hurdle debut. Open to progress. Precious little to take from four maiden runs; best watched on handicap debut. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (16) ![]() Lariat |
9/1(+25%) | (16) Lariat 9/1, Remains a maiden after 21 NH runs. Respectable fifth of 15 in handicap hurdle at Punchestown (20.1f, heavy, 10/1) 21 days ago. Went close over 2m5f at Fairyhouse in November but has failed to match that form since. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (10) ![]() Dolly Watkins |
33/1(+34%) | (10) Dolly Watkins 33/1, Lightly-raced maiden. 33/1, below form eighth of 17 in handicap hurdle at Naas (18.9f, heavy) 71 days ago. Tongue strap on 1st time. Well held on handicap debut at Naas; tongue-tie now tried but hard to be confident in. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (17) ![]() Tubberfinn Lady |
22/1(+33%) | (17) Tubberfinn Lady 22/1, Lightly-raced maiden. 20/1, tenth of 14 in handicap hurdle at Clonmel (16.1f, soft) 32 days ago, going in snatches. Up in trip. Clonmel run leaves her with plenty to find unless longer trip brings improvement. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (11) ![]() Duce Bigalow |
18/1(+10%) | (11) Duce Bigalow 18/1, Lightly-raced maiden. Seventh of 15 in handicap hurdle (20/1) at Punchestown (20.1f, heavy) 21 days ago. Some promise on recent handicap debut over this trip; not one to rule out. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (19) ![]() Rideau Canal |
16/1(-33%) | (19) Rideau Canal 16/1, Remains a maiden after 17 NH runs. 10/1, fourth of 8 in handicap chase at this course (20.4f, good to soft) 55 days ago. Switches from chase to hurdles. Cheekpieces back on. Fair chase effort here latest considering he was badly hampered; can't rule out. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
13th (14) ![]() Deep Sigh |
33/1(-65%) | (14) Deep Sigh 33/1, Cheekpieces on for 1st time in this code, tenth of 15 in handicap hurdle at Fairyhouse (20f, soft, 20/1) 60 days ago. First run for yard after leaving John McConnell. Shown very little in five handicaps this season for John McConnell; yard debut. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
14th (4) ![]() Kobalt St Georges |

||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
15th (12) ![]() Navy Waves |
12/1(-100%) | (12) Navy Waves 12/1, Sixteen runs since last win in 2022. Creditable second of 16 in handicap hurdle (20/1) at Thurles (15.6f, good to soft) 11 days ago. Back up in trip. Enters calculations. Recent Thurles comeback run very encouraging; longer trip here to suit so definite player. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
16th (8) ![]() Warrior Lion |
12/1(+76%) | (8) Warrior Lion 12/1, 16/1, respectable eighth of 13 in handicap at Dundalk (16f) 10 days ago. Switches from Flat to hurdles. Poor on last hurdle outing. Difficult ask. Just okay AW form of late; first run over hurdles since June last year, others preferred. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (7) ![]() Knocknagoran Lady |
11/1(-57%) | (7) Knocknagoran Lady 11/1, Creditable fourth of 9 in novice hurdle (13/2) at Punchestown (22.8f, heavy) 21 days ago. Not taken lightly. One to consider back in handicap over probably her best trip. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (20) ![]() Chartwell's Lady |
50/1(0%) | (20) Chartwell's Lady 50/1, Lightly-raced maiden. 125/1, last of 13 in handicap at Dundalk (16f) 59 days ago. Switches from Flat to hurdles. Up in trip. Tongue strap on 1st time. Poor on last hurdle run. Not much to recommend over hurdles in five attempts, hard to make a case for; tongue tied. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (3) ![]() Shashado |
66/1(-32%) | (3) Shashado 66/1, Lightly-raced maiden. 150/1, thirteenth of 17 in handicap hurdle at Leopardstown (16f, good to soft) 15 days ago. Up in trip. No show on recent comeback in Leopardstown handicap; may need more time. |
Very little in the way of winning form to go on, with a notable exception being AR NOS NA GAOITHE's breakthrough triumph at Clonmel last month. Philip Rothwell's mare travelled well and stayed on strongly, and there should be more to come from her. Navy Waves returned to action with an encouraging Thurles second and might do even better for the extra half-mile. Knocknagoran Lady has claims now back in a handicap, with Cher Tara another to consider.
AR NOS NA GAOITHE showed much-improved form when scoring under this rider at Clonmel last month and an 8 lb rise doesn't look insurmountable. Millyupdahilly and Navy Waves head the dangers.
Last month's Clonmel winner AR NOS GAOITHE is taken to defy an 8lb rise on ground which could suit

1st (1) ![]() Favori De Champdou |
5/6(-15%) | (1) Favori De Champdou 5/6, Useful chaser. Six wins from 18 NH runs. Creditable third of 17 in handicap chase at Punchestown (27f, soft, 17/2) 25 days ago. Good chance on these terms. Good recent form in hot handicaps; welcome drop in class though ground quicker than ideal. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (4) ![]() Jumping Jet |
2/1(+60%) | (4) Jumping Jet 2/1, Fairly useful chaser. Cheekpieces on for 1st time, thirteenth of 18 in handicap chase (50/1) at Navan (24.2f, good to soft) 120 days ago. Player if bouncing back. Ulster National winner with ground to suit; definite chance at the weights. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (3) ![]() Marronstown |
4/1(+88%) | (3) Marronstown 4/1, Fair chaser. 11/1, pulled up in handicap chase at Leopardstown (28.3f, good to soft) 15 days ago, pulled up early in straight. Bit to find. Goes well here and ground to suit but very stiff task at the weights. |
FAVORI DE CHAMPDOU has produced good efforts to run into the money in hot handicaps on each of his last two starts, most recently in the Grand National Trial at Punchestown. Gordon Elliott's 10-year-old sets the standard with a rating of 143 and will prove difficult to beat. The main threat is Gold Cup Bailly, who has cheekpieces applied for the first time and, with all three of his career victories coming in this sphere, he has to be respected. Jumping Jet can beat Marronstown home for third.
FAVORI DE CHAMPDOU arrives at the top of his game and looks the most solid option. Gold Cup Bailly faced a stiff task over hurdles last time and is feared most back chasing.
A poor turnout, perhaps a welcome opportunity for FAVORI DE CHAMPDOU if handling this quicker ground

![]() Listentillitellyea |
(4) 13/2(-86%) | (4) Listentillitellyea 13/2, Fairly useful chaser. 16/1, sixth of 9 in novice chase at this course (16.5f, good to soft) 55 days ago. Sort to bounce back though with few miles on the clock over fences. Player at these weights. Better chance of seeing this trip out on the quicker ground. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
1st (6) ![]() Lightkeeper |
3/1(+63%) | (6) Lightkeeper 3/1, Fairly useful hurdler. 5/1, below form fourth of 10 in claiming hurdle at Clonmel (16f, heavy) 18 days ago. Switches from hurdles to chase. Back up in trip. Trip/ground not ideal on recent hurdles run, more expected of here back on better ground. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (1) ![]() Spirit Of Legend |
2/1(+71%) | (1) Spirit Of Legend 2/1, Useful hurdler. Eleven runs since last win in 2022. 14/1, eighth of 9 in novice chase at Fairyhouse (21.9f, soft) 65 days ago. Yard having good spell but needs a couple of these to falter. Top-rated but jumping remains an issue; hard to be confident in. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (5) ![]() Clifftop |
6/1(-220%) | (5) Clifftop 6/1, Fairly useful chaser. One win from 21 NH runs. Below form ninth of 15 in handicap at Navan (10f, good to soft, 17/2). Switches from Flat to chase and not taken lightly if shrugging off latest effort. Won Tramore beginners last summer on good; absent since October but has run well fresh. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (2) ![]() Brucio |
5/1(-25%) | (2) Brucio 5/1, Fairly useful winner at 18f over hurdles. 10/3, last of 3 in handicap chase at Ayr (16.5f, heavy) on debut over fences 21 days ago. Needs to bounce back. Jumped novicey on recent chase debut at Ayr; 124-rated hurdler may need more time. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (3) ![]() Digby |
15/2(+63%) | (3) Digby 15/2, Fairly useful hurdler. Tongue strap on for 1st time, nineteenth of 20 in handicap hurdle (50/1) at Gowran (19.8f, heavy) 30 days ago. Switches from hurdles to chase. Recent hurdles run poor and questions to answer although does have his ground here. |
CLIFFTOP was in consistent form last summer, with the nine-year-old chasing home subsequent Grand Annual winner Jazzy Matty at Wexford in August. He went one better on his next start at Tramore and is fancied to make a successful return to action, having last been seen on the Flat in October. Brucio finished last of three on her chase debut at Ayr and may benefit from stepping up in trip, while Listentillitellyea appears best of the remainder.
LISTENTILLITELLYEA is favoured at these weights so gets a tentative vote from Clifftop who also holds good form claims if on song. Spirit Of Legend can also have a say, especially if his jumping does not hold him back.
LISTENTILLITELLYA has still to prove his stamina but this ground should give him every chance chance of seeing it out

1st (3) ![]() Milan Forth |
9/4(+50%) | (3) Milan Forth 9/4, Tongue strap on, won 14-runner hunter chase (9/2) at Clonmel (20f, soft) on NH debut 61 days ago, kept up to work. Third in an open point since and open to improvement back under Rules for new yard. Three time points winner, won a Clonmel hunters chase at this trip, claims on stable debut. |

2nd (5) ![]() Bold Fury |
11/2(+69%) | (5) Bold Fury 11/2, Twice-raced maiden. 25/1, 17¾ lengths sixth of 12 to Big Interest in hunter chase at this course (24f, good to soft) 81 days ago. Successful in a point last month and he's an each-way player. 2-10 in points, 4.75l behind Ballyphilip here last May, place claims in first-time hood. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (2) ![]() Big Interest |
11/4(-69%) | (2) Big Interest 11/4, Thrice-raced winner in chases. Pulled up in hunter chase at Gowran (25f, heavy, 5/2) 9 days ago, pushed along approaching straight. No surprise should he bounce back now down in trip on better ground. Won a 3m hunters chase here in December, poor latest but could revive back at this venue. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (6) ![]() Dromleigh |
28/1(+30%) | (6) Dromleigh 28/1, Fair chaser. Twelfth of 16 in hunter chase (16/1) at Limerick (22.6f, soft) 78 days ago. Only seventh in a point 9 days ago and others make more appeal. Point winner in February 2023, best form has come on testing ground, others preferred. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (1) ![]() Ballyphilip |
7/1(-110%) | (1) Ballyphilip 7/1, Successful in a maiden hunter here last May. Still bang there when coming down at the final fence on latest start under Rules in a hunter at Fairyhouse (24.3f, good, 3/1) in November. Placed both starts between the flags since. Possibilities. Won a hunters chase over 2m7f here last May, solid form in points, leading form claims. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (8) ![]() Go Frankie |
66/1(-100%) | (8) Go Frankie 66/1, Twelfth of 14 in novice hurdle at Kilbeggan (19f, good to soft, 125/1) on latest start under Rules. Winner of a maiden point when last seen in November but overall record in that sphere is modest. Debut for new yard. Point winner at Boulta in November, has joined new yard, others have stronger claims. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (4) ![]() Beg To Differ |
5/1(+55%) | (4) Beg To Differ 5/1, £20,000 3-y-o, Mahler gelding. Half-brother to fairly useful chaser At The Acorn. Made the frame both starts in points and he's one to consider on Rules debut for greatly respected connections. Promise in points, bred to appreciate this better ground, interesting Rules' debutant. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|F| (7) ![]() Drumnasoo |
15/2(+17%) | (7) Drumnasoo 15/2, Twice-raced maiden. First run since leaving Stuart Crawford when 12/1, pulled up in hunter chase at Limerick (22.6f, soft) 78 days ago. Beaten a fair way when third to Bold Fury in a point last month. Off the mark in points last month, good run here last May, trip may be too sharp today. |
BIG INTEREST came well clear of Cheltenham Festival runner-up Its On The Line over 3m here in December and although he's been disappointing twice since then, the six-year-old will be difficult to beat if finding a return to form. That being said, Clonmel scorer Milan Forth has been running well between the flags and looks to be a real threat. Others to note include Ballyphilip and Drumnasoo.
BIG INTEREST looked one to follow when making a wining Rules debut here on Boxing Day and that remains the case, despite his two subsequent defeats on soft/heavy going. He is taken to get back on track with the forecast quicker ground and drop in trip both likely plus points. Having shaped well both starts between the flags, Beg To Differ is interesting on his Rules debut and, given his connections, it will look significant if he's strong in thebetting. Milan Forth is also shortlisted.
A chance is taken on BEG TO DIFFER who shaped nicely in points on easy ground and he could improve plenty for this sounder surface

9th (14) ![]() New York Diva |
12/1(+40%) | (14) New York Diva 12/1, Footstepsinthesand filly. Half-sister to bumper winner Ossie's Lodge. The betting should help guide to expectations with this newcomer. Interesting jockey booking for newcomer and any market strength should be noted. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (1) ![]() Aisling Rose |
7/2(+30%) | (1) Aisling Rose 7/2, Kalanisi mare. Half-sister to dual bumper winner/useful 19f-3m hurdle winner Queenohearts. Of obvious interest on debut. Debutante for whom market best guide; respected source. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (6) ![]() Flamin Court |
22/1(-57%) | (6) Flamin Court 22/1, Once-raced maiden. 14/1, eighth of 12 in bumper at Ayr (16f, soft) on NH debut 55 days ago. Better for recent Ayr debut and booking of Derek O'Connor takes the eye. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (11) ![]() Likeoldtimes |
66/1(+34%) | (11) Likeoldtimes 66/1, Once-raced maiden. Last of 10 in bumper (100/1) at Fairyhouse (16f, soft) on NH debut 23 days ago. Tailed off on last month's Fairyhouse debut; can only be watched. |
410,000-euro purchase ECHOING SILENCE failed to live up to market expectations when only fifth on her hurdling debut at Navan in December, but she looks well worth another chance. It's interesting connections have now switched to this sphere, but it would be no surprise to see her make her first bumper start a winning one. Aisling Rose is a half-sister to bumper winner Queenohearts and if the market speaks in her favour, she would be of interest, along with point-to-point winner Broomfield Aderra.
ECHOING SILENCE should promise in a maiden hurdle before Christmas and this former point winner can strike at the second time of asking for Henry de Bromhead. Aisling Rose makes paper appeal for a stable no stranger to bumper success, while Kenisa Sport and Kabylia hail from good stables and could easily leave their debut efforts behind.
It may pay to persevere with ECHOING SILENCE, a disappointing favourite on hurdles debut, having won a point this time last year
Ths is the racecard key.
