12:35 Carlisle Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 17f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

There were plenty of positives to be gleaned from TO CHASE A DREAM's runner-up effort on his hurdles debut over C&D last month, and a similar level of performance may suffice. Letthedustsettle is entitled to improve for his sixth-placed finish at Wetherby recently and Tom Lacey's charge may appreciate this drop in distance. The five-year-old is feared most, although any market support for winning pointer Wild Grouse or dual bumper scorer Bertie's Ballet would be interesting.

TO CHASE A DREAM gets the nod to build on his promising hurdle debut second here last month. Last season's dual bumper winner Bertie's Ballet rates an obvious danger now hurdling on his return, while Irish point recruit Wild Grouse would also enter the reckoning should the betting suggest he's fancied on his debut for Donald McCain.

The useful bumper performer BERTIE'S BALLET is taken to make a winning debut over hurdles by beating point winner Letthedustsettle.

Smart 2m novice chaser and handicap hurdler last season; conditions suit; good chance.
LTO Selection:

13:05 Carlisle Conditions Chase (Class 2) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

Sail Away looked better than ever when making all over 3m at Ayr in April. However, the drop in trip to 2m is an obvious concern and Dan Skelton's charge may have his work cut out in conceding 3lb to Betfair Hurdle winner AUCUNRISQUE. The son of No Risk At All has some smart chase form in the book over this distance and makes most appeal. Last month's C&D victor Nells Son shouldn't be far away either.

A tricky contest to unravel despite the small field but AUCUNRISQUE gets the verdict to double his tally over the larger obstacles having shaped as if just in need of the run on return over timber at Fontwell last month. The main danger may emerge from Nells Son, who made a winning reappearance over C&D recently and should have even more to offer in this sphere. Sail Away can fill out third spot.

The versatile AUCUNRISQUE (nap) has his ideal conditions and is taken to beat the recent C&D winner Nells Son.

Below par on reappearance after a break; conditions suit; possibilities on her best form.
LTO Selection:

13:40 Carlisle Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) 17f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Two-time hurdle winner ALL THE GLORY has seen her rating drop after recent defeats in novice company and the Jonjo O'Neill-trained mare is fancied to capitalise on her handicap bow. Spot On Soph has been in good form in this sphere of late, although she isn't certain to prove as effective now dropping in trip, so a bigger threat may emerge from Inspiratrice, who is reverting to hurdles after a spin over fences at Worcester last month.

SPOT ON SOPH has been running well back over hurdles this season, beaten only by a progressive type at Sedgefield on her latest outing, and she can continue her good run of form to return to winning ways. All The Glory is feared most as she makes her handicap debut, while Ravenscar could fare better with her recent run behind her.

In what looks an open mares' handicap ALL THE GLORY, whose stable is in fine form, is taken to beat Inspiratrice and Ravenscar.

LTO Selection:

14:15 Carlisle Handicap Chase (Class 3) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Glory And Honour could go well after a second over 2m here last month and he will try to put his race-fitness to good use against CREBILLY. Jonjo O'Neill's six-year-old won two of his five starts over hurdles with the latest over this trip and, as he is bred to be just as effective over fences, he may be able to give weight away all round. French import Inedit Star is interesting and well worth a market check.

CREBILLY made up into a useful sort over hurdles last term and is fancied to pick up where he left off on chase debut. Inedit Star seemingly produced a much improved effort in France last time and he's very interesting if able to replicate that performance, whilst Glory And Honour has become a solid yardstick since joining Sam England and is also tricky to discount,

Preference is for the proven fitness and chasing ability of GLORY AND HONOUR, who has been in good form for his new stable.

LTO Selection:

14:50 Carlisle Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) 19f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Kingston Bridge is the only course winner here having scored over this trip in March. HAVEANOTHERGOFLO is narrowly preferred, though, in the hope a wind operation will see him find some improvement and, although he remains a maiden over hurdles, he is potentially well weighted here. Boomslang is another to consider, though he needs to bounce back after pulling up at Perth in June.

A case can be made for all of these but HAVEANOTHERGOFLO begins life in handicaps on a lenient-looking mark so is fancied to get off the mark at the chief expense of Kingston Bridge, who is also weighted to have a say and should be all the sharper for his reappearance sixth here. Here Comes Georgie appeals as the pick of the rest.

5yo KINGSTON BRIDGE has the benefit of a recent run so is taken to confirm his C&D superiority in March over Haveanothergoflo.

Won last 3 hurdle races for D Skelton; sold £38,000 since; career-high mark on chase debut.
LTO Selection:

15:20 Carlisle Handicap Chase (Class 4) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

HELLO JUDGE looked to be value for more than the winning margin when showing a determined attitude to score narrowly over C&D last month. A 4lb rise for that success could prove lenient, and he can uphold form with Jet Legs (fourth), who has over six lengths to make up and has a better record over longer distances. A winner of his last three starts over hurdles, William Of York must be of interest too.

JET LEGS lacked the chase experience/race-fitness of the re-opposing winner Hello Judge when fourth in a 15-runner handicap on his debut over fences here, and he is taken to emerge on top this time. To his credit, Hello Judge showed a good attitude on that occasion and won't go down without a fight if in a similar mood. William of York, who progressed over hurdles during the spring, could make a bold bid from the front if his jumping passes the test now switched to fences.

Hello Judge has gone back up 4lb for his recent C&D win, which might give the edge to the reopposing fourth JET LEGS.

15:50 Carlisle NH Flat Race (Class 5) 17f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

The Jonjo O'Neill stable has started the season well, and HIGHLANDS LEGACY must hold every chance if building on a promising debut effort at Ffos Las when keeping on late for second. The son of Kayf Tara is narrowly preferred to point-to-point recruit Iorangi De L'isle, who is related to multiple winners under Rules and hails from a stable which knows how to ready one. Forged Well is another to note.

Donald McCain has a strong record in bumpers here so the suggestion is his Irish point recruit IORANGI DE L'ISLE, with confidence in his chance increased should the betting vibes be strong. Last month's Ffos Las runner-up Highlands Legacy is the obvious danger.

It may pay to side with HIGHLANDS LEGACY who was a creditable second in what looked a fair bumper at Ffos Las on his debut.

About U.K Horse Racing

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.

Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.
