14:05 Beverley Handicap (Class 4) 5f  Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

KHABIB was only beaten a length when second in a similar event at Thirsk recently and the consistent six-year-old merits plenty of respect off the same mark here. Scoops Ahoy also hit the crossbar on his most recent outing and could prove to be the main threat to the selection, although Majeski Man and Rock Of England should not be discounted.

This is wide open but EMERALDS PRIDE caught the eye when sixth over C&D last time from a poor draw and can resume winning ways off a 1 lb lower mark given a low berth this time. In-form top-weight Rock Of England could emerge as the main danger to Michael Dods' C&D scorer, although the likes of Cavalier Approach, Midnight Lir, Dandy Dinmont and Khabib all warrant plenty of respect.

Michael Dods's C&D winner EMERALDS PRIDE caught the eye from a wide draw when sixth here last time and edges the vote.

14:40 Beverley Handicap (Class 4) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

STAY IN THE GAME has improved with each start to date and only found one too good on his most recent outing in a novice event over C&D in April. An opening mark of 80 should be workable and the three-year-old just gets the vote. Glistening Nights scored over this track and trip 11 days ago and has to be of interest off just 3lb higher, while Touch The Moon completes the shortlist.

STAY IN THE GAME boasts a progressive profile and was comfortably on top of the remainder when second in a novice over C&D last time so, following a break, he's worth a chance to improve past an opening mark of 80. Princess Nyla is in good order and should pose a threat along with Ey Up Its The Boss.

We haven't seen STAY IN THE GAME since his creditable second in a C&D novice in April but he still appeals most.

15:15 Beverley Maiden (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Neoma has to be respected following her encouraging debut effort at Kempton a couple of weeks ago, but marginal preference is for MANDANA. The daughter of Persian King showed plenty of ability when third on her racecourse bow in July and confirmed that promise when second at Haydock last time. Surprised is closely related to plenty of winners and merits a market inspection.

MANDANA has made a promising start in a couple of 7f fillies' maidens in higher grades and can get off the mark here with improvement in the offing. Kempton second Neoma is feared most.

Time Test filly BLUEANDTANGERINE is well worth another chance having not enjoyed the rub of the green when sixth at Redcar last time.

15:50 Beverley Handicap (Class 4) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

In a relatively small field, the draw may not be as important as it can be here and the vote goes to AMERJEET. Archie Watson's gelding looked to have a bit in hand when winning at Lingfield last month and although he's upped in class off a 5lb higher mark, there may be improvement to come. Educating Rita is an obvious danger dropping back to this trip and she won't be too far away, leaving the dropped-in-class Mission Command to chase them home.

WINCHURCH resumed progress and in truth was value for a little extra when doubling his tally at Musselburgh 23 days ago. A 5 lb rise for that success looks fair and he looks to hold sound claims again. Mission Command will find this easier than his latest Goodwood assignment and is feared along with Educating Rita.

The pick is MISSION COMMAND (nap), who impressed when winning a Ripon maiden and will find this easier than his first nursery.

16:25 Beverley Handicap (Class 5) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

LINCOLN ROCKSTAR seems an obvious pick having won twice over this C&D this year, as well as two wins and two seconds elsewhere since. He was all out to win by a nose last time and may need another career-best effort here, but arrives at the top of his game and is hard to ignore. Monsieur Melee has been running well without success recently and may have to settle for another silver medal, leaving Open Secret and Elemental Eye to battle it out for third.

Having opened his account at Doncaster in May, MONSIEUR MELEE has remained in form in defeat since, finishing a good second in a race not run to suit at Ripon 2 weeks ago. He looks a big player from the same mark. Elemental Eye has been shaping up well and is feared, whilst Open Secret would be a danger to all if getting his own way on the front end. Lincoln Rockstar can't be discounted either.

Consistent ELEMENTAL EYE gives the impression this longer trip will suit and he can gain a deserved breakthrough victory.

17:00 Beverley Handicap (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Shimmering Sands is already a winner at Beverley, but that was over 1m2f and he may have to settle for a place dropping back in trip. SHALADAR has won off a higher mark in the past and showed signs of a return to form when beaten less then two lengths into fourth at Carlisle last time, so his chance is clear racing off 2lb lower here. Etretat and Assessment are others to consider in a trappy contest.

Preference is for SHIMMERING SANDS, who is fairly treated and got back on track at Redcar last time. Assessment and Kokinelli head the list of dangers in what looks an open contest.

Low-mileage 3yo CAVALRY CALL looked unlucky not to finish closer to the target at Kempton recently and may exploit a 3lb drop here.
