13:40 Beverley Stakes (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

El Burhan created a favourable impression when scoring cosily over 7f at Yarmouth in May and George Boughey's charge must be respected in a race of this nature. That said, preference is for PAP'S TURF. The son of Shaman made no mistake when getting off the mark with the minimum of fuss at the second attempt over C&D last month, cutting out his own fractions before asserting under hands and heels on the run-in. Footwork, who was second to the selection on that occasion, can also go well but may have to go some to reverse that form.

EL BURHAN relished the extra distance when getting off the mark at Yarmouth just under 6 weeks ago and with further progress on the cards, George Boughey's colt is taken to follow up at the expense of Footwoork, who was a place behind Pap's Turf on debut but is expected to improve past that rival here. Divine Legacy catches the eye on pedigree, so he completes the shortlist.

This doesn't look that strong a race and Yarmouth winner EL BURHAN might well be able to defy the penalty.

14:15 Beverley Maiden (Class 5) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

RAJETERIAT found only one rival too good in a warm race over 5f at Sandown last month and, having placed over this C&D prior to that, he gets the vote to gain a first career success. Uncle Don kept on well to finish runner-up over 6f at Ayr on his debut and he can emerge as the main danger to the selection. Of the newcomers, Big Mojo appeals the most.

RAJETERIAT sets the standard in this contest, beaten only by a progressive type at Sandown on his latest outing, so he could be ready to get off the mark this time around. He is taken to get the better of Uncle Don, who made a promising debut at Ayr a fortnight ago, with Big Mojo the pick of the newcomers.

Tom Clover's RAJETERIAT not only has leading form claims but also the early speed and experience to make the most of his good draw.

14:50 Beverley Handicap (Class 6) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

PERSIAN BLUE kept on well to finish second over 5f at Windsor on Monday and another prominent showing is expected. There should be more to come from William Haggas' filly and the quick turnaround suggests she's come out of that race earlier in the week in good nick. Warrendale Wagyu is better than he showed over C&D last month and joins Stash The Cash on the shortlist.

A few with chances but George Boughey's MARCHING MAC could prove the answer now he drops in trip having gone too freely when fifth over 7f at Wetherby last time. Stash The Cash is weighted to go close and next on the list ahead of in-form duo Persian Blue and Warrendale Wagyu.

One with a bit of potential is PERSIAN BLUE who can compete off the same mark as when second at Windsor on Monday.

15:25 Beverley Handicap (Class 4) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

GOLDEN MYRRH successfully recorded a double when scoring by just under a length at Doncaster last time. Ralph Beckett's three-year-old has a 6lb rise to contend with, but that is unlikely to be enough to prevent her from going in again. Ziggy's Phoenix produced a solid display to fill the runner-up spot in this grade last month and she should go well off the same rating, while Zapphire is another to note back at this level.

GOLDEN MYRRH is on a roll and a 6 lb rise for her recent impressive Doncaster victory doesn't look sufficient to prevent Ralph Beckett's filly from rattling off a hat-trick. Richard Fahey's resurgent No Nay Nicki could emerge as the main danger, with Ziggy's Phoenix, Zapphire and Blufferonthebus also in the picture.

The Frankel filly GOLDEN MYRRH had more in hand last time at Doncaster than her narrow margin of victory may suggest.

(7) Molinari 20/1, C&D winner. Fourteen runs since last win in 2022. Not seen to best effect when eighth of 9 in handicap at Haydock (11.8f, good to soft, 11/1) 42 days ago, shuffled back over 3f out. Remains on a workable mark but others preferred for win purposes.
Won this two years ago and followed up at York (1m4f); now on a losing run of 14.

(10) Dandy's Angel 25/1, Has scored 5 times over C&D, including 4 times last season. Failed to build on the promise of her latest run here when only sixth of 8 in handicap at Ripon (9.8f, good, 12/1) 17 days ago. Hard to discount under these conditions, though.
None too solid on her form this season but well handicapped and goes well here.

(8) Burglar's Dream 28/1, Runner-up over C&D in April before sturggling in a higher grade at York. Recent fifth at this C&D (good to firm) 28 days ago was a step back in right direction but needs to step forward again with blinkers on 1st time.
Form claims should the blinkers give him a lift, though may prefer softer conditions.

16:00 Beverley Handicap (Class 5) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

GOD OF FIRE made a highly encouraging start for the Daniel & Claire Kubler stable when hitting the crossbar in this grade at Salisbury last time. The son of Muhaarar is only 2lb higher for that performance and, with Jim Crowley booked, he looks the way to go. Giselles Defence bolted up in an apprentice race at Epsom on his latest outing, so he holds an obvious chance off the same mark, while Strawman can be in the mix for the minor honours.

GISELLES DEFENCE escapes a penalty for his win at Epsom earlier in the week and should prove difficult to beat if coping with the quick turnaround. Bearwith was back to his best at Doncaster last week and should be in the mix again, with God of Fire another player on his second start for the Kubler yard.

Giselles Defence is feared but preference is for GOD OF FIRE who got himself firmly back on track on his debut for the Kublers.

Easy winner here before Doncaster perhaps came too soon; has to be of interest.

16:35 Beverley Handicap (Class 6) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

CROWN'S LADY put three underwhelming efforts well behind her when scoring on her handicap debut over a mile at Ripon last month. Craig Lidster's charge is only 4lb higher for that victory and she could improve for this step up in trip. Little Venice struck by three lengths over track and trip last time and she is likely to be on the premises once again off 5lb higher, while Mon Etoile can pick up any pieces.

LITTLE ROSE had looked firmly on the up when going in over C&D in the spring and is worth forgiving her subsequent blip at Doncaster returning after a break. Fellow C&D scorer Little Venice should ensure William Haggas' daughter of Dubawi doesn't have things all her own way though, while in-form duo Jez Bomb and Crown's Lady can both have a say too.

With a strong pace highly likely this could be run to suit LITTLE VENICE (nap) who arrived late on the scene here 11 days ago.
