|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

11/1(+31%) | (7) Wannabeawallaby 11/1, Slowly away well beaten in a classified race over 12f at Lingfield latest and similar previous start; handles fast ground, but needs a return to form Began this year with two heavy defeats on AW and is now 0-13. |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (1) ![]() Fair Dinkum |
7/1(+42%) | (1) Fair Dinkum 7/1, Seemed to be on stiff mark well beaten in a handicap over 2m at Lingfield latest after losing form following a Lingfield win in June after a wind operation; trainer in form, but needs to have been refreshed by break Won off 2lb higher on AW last June but looked out of sorts towards end of last summer. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (3) ![]() Mamdoh |

7th (4) ![]() Spitfire Bridge |
6/1(+70%) | (4) Spitfire Bridge 6/1, Wide trip beaten 10l in a handicap over 12f at Kempton last time and down the field though better efforts two previous starts; blinkers first time; handles fast ground, but bit to prove Went close here last summer but was out of form on AW during winter; headgear switched. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
INLET took a considerable step forward when upped to 1m6f at Wolverhampton in February, going down by just a neck. The daughter of Golden Horn hung left in the closing stages so first-time cheekpieces are employed to perhaps sharpen her focus and, with a switch to grass not expected to be an issue, she's taken to go one better. Mamdoh has been in good form on the all-weather and is respected. Cornish Storm appeals most of the remainder.
Preference is for turf debutante INLET, who shaped as though her turn was near when going close on the AW in February.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
Eve Johnson Houghton has landed the two previous renewals of this contest so Canyouhearthedrums merits the utmost respect, but a chance can be taken on SENORITA VEGA. Tom Dascombe's youngster, a 28,000-euro purchase, is a half-sister to a couple of useful types and although her future will perhaps lie over further, it would come as no surprise were she good enough today. Earthlight filly Sayidah Poets is another who warrants a market check.
Tricky. CANYOUHEARTHEDRUMS is drawn widest but her yard has won the past two runnings of this race with Group-class fillies.

1st (7) ![]() Tourist |
15/8(+63%) | (7) Tourist 15/8, Raced freely when landing a handicap by a neck off 78 over 6f at Windsor last time ran in August; down in trip and up a couple of pounds; off a break, may just need it Consistent for Hilal Kobeissi last season (two 6f wins); back in trip for stable debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (1) ![]() Pepsi Cat |
5/1(+0%) | (1) Pepsi Cat 5/1, Big run when fifth in a Heritage Handicap at York Ebor meeting, but ran very poorly either side; best form suggests is very well handicapped here; worth consideration if a bit risky Developed into a useful 5f performer last year; begins new campaign from good mark. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (2) ![]() Grace Angel |
8/1(+43%) | (2) Grace Angel 8/1, In excellent form on the AW until last of 9 at Wolverhampton last time; setting that aside would be a contender given won twice on turf last season and mark has come down a few pounds recently Needs to bounce back from last month's poor run but may have a fitness edge today. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (3) ![]() Regal Envoy |
8/1(-129%) | (3) Regal Envoy 8/1, Only pushed out when landing a handicap by 1/2l off 81 at Chelmsford in November; returning from a break following that, but generally reliable, won twice on turf last season and looks the most solid option In excellent form on AW in autumn; 146-day break may have checked his momentum. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (9) ![]() So Smart |
22/1(-10%) | (9) So Smart 22/1, Chepstow handicap winner off 67 by a neck in August, but form tailed off a little at the end of the campaign; mark is fair; C&D winner and ran quite well reappearance here in 2024; not out of very tight race Front-runner; won twice (once over C&D) last season and is well drawn to attack today. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (4) ![]() Miss Show Off |
6/1(-33%) | (4) Miss Show Off 6/1, Ran well on handicap debut first start of 2024 beaten under a length off 82, but below that only other start; very lightly raced and presumably has had issues; unexposed, but also a bit of an unknown Lightly raced filly who ran well when fresh last summer and may still have potential. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (8) ![]() Connie's Rose |
14/1(0%) | (8) Connie's Rose 14/1, Bath specialist and last four starts here; tends to make the running at a fast pace and run to form if gets fractions right and not if doesn't; has had a win operation and off a break; risky Had career-best spell of form last spring/summer but lost her way in the autumn. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (6) ![]() Pop Star |
9/1(-13%) | (6) Pop Star 9/1, Travelled well produced probably best effort when landing a handicap by 4l off 70 over 6f here in October; not seen since then, but quirky track clearly suits and should go well Signed off with emphatic 5.7f course win in October; resumes on 10lb higher mark. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (5) ![]() Jacquelina |
25/1(-25%) | (5) Jacquelina 25/1, Got on a big roll last turf season with five wins in May/June, finally lost form upped in class last two starts; enjoys making it; could be very well handicapped if break has refreshed Made remarkable progress last spring; returned from break with two lesser runs in October. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
TOURIST narrowly prevailed at Windsor on his final start for Hilal Kobeissi and given that he has gone well fresh previously, a 2lb rise should be no barrier to further success. Now in the care of Robert Cowell, the son of Zoustar has proven himself tactically versatile so should they go a decent gallop, his ability to stay further could be key. The unexposed Miss Show Off and hat-trick seeking Regal Envoy are two others to consider.
One who still has potential is MISS SHOW OFF, who raced only twice as a 3yo but proved she can go well fresh on the first occasion.

1st (2) ![]() Elland Road Girl |
9/4(+18%) | (2) Elland Road Girl 9/4, Ran to form beaten 2 1/4l off 55 at Wolverhampton last time; unproven on fast ground; much better run second run of season latest; contender Did well to be a closing fourth at Wolverhampton last time after missing the kick. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (3) ![]() Royal Accord |
2/1(+27%) | (3) Royal Accord 2/1, Beaten 2 1/2l off 55 at Wolverhampton last time; not proven trip; unproven on fast ground; looks much better on turf than AW, gets the nod Faded over 6f at Wolverhampton and today's drop back to an extended 5f could work. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (1) ![]() Dreambird Dolly |
17/2(+29%) | (1) Dreambird Dolly 17/2, Beaten 6l in a nursery over 5f at Lingfield last time (mark looked stiff); consistent in three runs in novices; returning from a break; unrpoven on fast turf; bit to prove Just glimmers of ability before struggling when 40-1 for handicap debut (5f AW). |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (6) ![]() La Mer Grise |
16/1(+20%) | (6) La Mer Grise 16/1, Seemed to be on stiff mark beaten 7l in a handicap over 5f at Wolverhampton last time; top course trainer; needs to find fair bit more Has a lot of ground to make up with Kameko Spirit on their recent AW clash. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (4) ![]() Kameko Spirit |
10/3(-90%) | (4) Kameko Spirit 10/3, Ran to form beaten 3/4l off 48 over 5f at Wolverhampton last time; not proven trip; unproven on fast ground (looks better on AW); key contender, go close Prominent racer who has failed only narrowly in her last two races on the AW (5f). |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
KAMEKO SPIRIT has attempted to make every yard of the running but had to settle for second on each of her last two outings, with her latest effort coming in a first-time tongue-tie at Wolverhampton. Provided she can transfer that form to turf, she could prove tough to beat. Elland Road Girl outran her big odds when a respectable fourth at Wolverhampton last month and should go well, while Royal Accord is another to note.
After two near misses on the AW this looks a good opportunity for KAMEKO SPIRIT (nap) to finally get her head in front.

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (9) ![]() Havana Tobouggaloo |
50/1(-25%) | (9) Havana Tobouggaloo 50/1, Havana Gold filly; dam useful at 12f; stable's horses tend to need more time; tough enough task on debut Out of a bumper/fair 1m4f Flat winner; probably one for further down the line. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (8) ![]() Sofian |
50/1(-25%) | (8) Sofian 50/1, Not clear run beaten 9l in a nursery over 7f at Chester last time; up in trip; unproven on fast ground; more needed Made the frame in a soft-ground maiden last summer but faces a tough task here. |

6th (7) ![]() Papa Oscar |
28/1(-100%) | (7) Papa Oscar 28/1, Had benefited for debut experience fourth beaten 4l in a maiden over 7f at Newcastle latest where too keen; up in trip; needs to improve Has very good pedigree but his two 7f AW runs this year have been underwhelming. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (2) ![]() Reteti |
50/1(-52%) | (2) Reteti 50/1, Probably needed race 4l third in a bumper over 2m at Stratford most recent run; back in trip; unproven on fast ground; hard to recommend on flat debut Has shown some ability in bumpers but seems unlikely to pose a threat on Flat debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (3) ![]() Good Eye |
80/1(-60%) | (3) Good Eye 80/1, Slowly away 17l third in a maiden over 11f at Dundalk most recent run; back in trip; off a short-break; plenty more needed Remote when third in 10.7f Dundalk maiden in January; overlooked on stable debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (1) ![]() George Sansevero |
100/1(-52%) | (1) George Sansevero 100/1, Cappella Sansevero gelding; dam very useful at 7f; hood first time; stable without a winner this year; best watched Out of a fairly useful 5f-7f winner; hooded on debut; best watched. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
High On Hope returned from a break to fill the runner-up spot at Southwell last month and has plenty of experience on his side so needs to be considered. However, he might come out second best to GENNADIUS, who ran green when only finding Godolphin's 2000 Guineas contender Opera Ballo too good on his debut at Kempton in January and will have lots more to offer. Teroomm completes the shortlist.
High On Hope is respected but TEROOMM made a very promising debut at Kempton in the autumn and is taken to improve past him.

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (12) ![]() Too Much Trevor |
33/1(-65%) | (12) Too Much Trevor 33/1, Beaten 4l off 55 at Yarmouth last time; form going the wrong way; hard to fancy Final run at Yarmouth wasn't too bad (1m, soft) but he's 0-12 and lacks a recent run. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
OUTRACE won off 69 over C&D a couple of years ago and could be a bit of value in this competitive handicap now he's switched to turf in first-time blinkers. 7lb claimer Tyrese Cameron knows him well and he's preferred to My Ambition, a three-time track-and-trip scorer who has won when fresh in the past. Expecto is also interesting having her first run since leaving Jim Bolger's yard.
A chance is taken on JOHNJAY who won over C&D on last season's reappearance and his yard is having winners.

9th (9) ![]() Aquifolia |
66/1(-32%) | (9) Aquifolia 66/1, Raced freely beaten 9l in a handicap over 10f here last time; generally out of form; may not relish fast ground; not proven trip; best watched back from lay off Unplaced all seven starts, the last three times off today's basement mark in the autumn. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
BAIKAL comes here fit from competing on the all-weather and they were good runs too, including a determined success over 1m2f at Lingfield. He's shaped on those starts at the Surrey venue as though going up to 1m4f would suit and is very much worth sticking with in his current form. Mrembo is 2-4 at the track and must enter calculations, while a big run from the race-fit Starfighter would come as no surprise.
This can go to WATERLOO SUNSET, who was returning from a long absence when a keeping-on fifth in a Class 4 AW race in February.
Ths is the racecard key.
