Ran well until falling over C&D three weeks ago and can be considered.
LTO Selection:

13:40 Bangor Handicap Chase (Class 4) 24f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

POTTLERATH arrives having notched up back-to-back victories at Worcester and Warwick last month. His rivals have a bit to prove at present, none more so than Inishbiggle, who is yet to complete from his two starts over fences, so Matt Shepherd's gelding looks worth siding with once again from a 3lb raised mark. Twice-placed in points, Dragon Rock ought to possess the ability required to have a say on his fencing bow.

POTTLERATH takes on a couple of unknown quantities to some extent in chase-newcomer Dragon Rock and lightly-raced 8-y-o Inishbiggle but he was always holding on when supplementing his Worcester win at Warwick. He's therefore very much the percentage call in his hat-trick bid.

The safest option looks to be the in-form POTTLERATH.

LTO Selection:

14:15 Bangor Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 17f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Donald McCain accounts for a third of the field, of which Trick Of The Tail, who Brian Hughes would seem to prefer, might be his leading hope. On Cloud Nine finished third, albeit well beaten, on her first start following wind surgery, though she could take another step forward today. Preference, however, is for MASTER PLAYER. He has shown a fair level of ability in Irish bumpers and it would come as no surprise were he to improve over timber.

CHURCHMAN showed more than in a couple of bumpers switched to hurdling when seventh at Ludlow last month and may not need to improve much to land a much weaker contest here. Master Player displayed a fair level in bumpers so must enter the reckoning, while it remains early days for Trick of The Tail.

Although only seventh at Ludlow in April, CHURCHMAN achieved enough to be the selection in this modest event.

Shaped as if still in good form when falling 5 out over C&D 3 weeks ago and remains of interest.
Fell over C&D last month on first attempt at this trip (favourite); could atone.
LTO Selection:

14:50 Bangor Handicap Chase (Class 4) 24f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

DO NO WRONG lived up to his namesake when readily accounting for nine rivals at Cartmel a fortnight ago and Justin Landy's unexposed chaser is fancied to repeat the dose from a 4lb higher mark. Junior Massini has taken well to fences and he should mount another stern challenge in a bid to follow up on his recent Warwick success, while Everyday Champagne, second on each of his last three starts, heads the remainder.

HEART OF A LION shaped as if still in good form when falling 5 out over C&D 3 weeks ago so is well worth another chance given how he'd shaped at Fontwell the time before. Do No Wrong left his chase debut well behind when scoring with a bit in hand at Cartmel so is feared most.

A competitive contest can go to DO NO WRONG, after his Cartmel success.

LTO Selection:

15:25 Bangor Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) 17f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

HIDALGO DE L'ISLE scored over course and distance three weeks ago and the six-year-old remains the one to beat, despite a 5lb rise in the ratings. Glorious Zoff also returned to winning ways on his most recent start and he could prove to be the main threat to the selection off just 2lb higher. A case can be made for all of the remainder but Lakefield Flyer is the pick of them.

None of these can be ruled out but GLORIOUS ZOFF looked right back on track after a wind op when scoring at Warwick and can make light of a 2 lb rise in the weights at the chief expense of dual C&D scorer Hidalgo de L'Isle. Bombyx features on a handy mark and is another who can have a say if building on his recent Ludlow fifth.

After a promising effort at Ludlow last month, BOMBYX is taken to beat several recent winners.

Won on chasing debut but hasn't progressed; well beaten when second latest.
LTO Selection:

16:00 Bangor Handicap Chase (Class 4) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

HEARTBREAK KID bounced back to form with an impressive victory over this track and trip last month and he may well be able to defy a 5lb rise in the ratings here. Norley was a well-held third on that occasion but he had been progressive prior to that defeat and should not be underestimated. Yggdrasil may benefit from the application of first-time blinkers and is another to consider.

HEARTBREAK KID cashed in on a much-reduced mark to score over C&D 3 weeks ago and, despite a 5 lb rise, Donald McCain's 8-y-o remains well treated on old form. He can follow up at the expense of Midnight Jewel, who ran creditably on his return over hurdles at Southwell recently and should be much closer to his best with that under his belt. Joly Maker and Norley can fight out third spot.

With the benefit of his outing over hurdles, MIDNIGHT JEWEL (nap) can resume his upward path.

LTO Selection:

16:35 Bangor Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

BALRANALD won a similar event over C&D last month when benefiting from a drop back in trip and he looks a key player off just 4lb higher. A wind operation appears to have brought about some improvement and it would be no surprise to see him back that performance up. Armattiekan, who was second in that aforementioned race, has a feasible chance of turning the form around off 5lb better terms, while En Avant appeals most from the rest.

PUMPKIN'S PRIDE's stamina may have been stretched last time and he is of strong interest judged on his effort over a similar trip to this at Doncaster earlier in the year. Armattiekan was returning from a 9-month absence when second to Balranald over this C&D and, with that run under his belt and armed with a 5 lb pull, he is taken to reverse those placings and emerge as the main danger. Robber's Bridge is also worthy of consideration.

Although she has yet to show a great deal, JINA may step up now handicapping.

ROSE IN THE PARK, who swapped hands for 70,000 pounds after she won an Irish point-to-point in March, looks a highly appealing newcomer to racing under Rules and is fancied to make a winning start for her new connections. She is a half-sister to Blow By Blow, who was a Grade 1 winner in this sphere before making into a useful hurdler, so ticks the right boxes on pedigree. Madam Ryder and Maggie O are others to monitor in the betting.

Having won her only start between the flags, ROSE IN THE PARK is well worth a chance to maintain her unbeaten record on Rules bow. Madam Ryder is likely to improve on her debut and looks the main threat, although Maggie O, another point winner, can't be ruled out.

Irish point winner ROSE IN THE PARK can make a winning start in bumpers.
