15:25 Ballinrobe Maiden Hurdle 18f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

KAPTAIN BAY could build upon an opening third over flights at Ballinrobe in August. He had snippets of form on the Flat and went off favourite for that jumping assignment, but gave best on the run-in after a slight mistake at the last. Ceol Draiochta finished a place in front of Kaptain Bay in that aforementioned race, but unseated in the early stages when next seen in Killarney. Solar Drive has won twice on the Flat, including at Cork in July, and made a satisfactory start to his jumping career when fourth in Kilbeggan. Joseph O'Brien's Turn And Finish kept on for fourth behind an easy winner on the level at Tramore and is swiftly sent jumping.

TURN AND FINISH showed plenty when fourth in a maiden at Tramore on his only Flat outing and he's bred to take to this sphere, so he's preferred to Kaptain Bay, who made a promising hurdling debut here a month ago. Ceol Draioch is another one to consider.

CEOL DRAIOCHTA is taken to confirm course and distance form with Kaptain Bay having only gone down by half a length here on debut

16:00 Ballinrobe Maiden Hurdle 18f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

JOUEUSE ROYALE is a significant player after her third place on hurdle debut at Tramore. The form of last month's race has been emphatically endorsed with the winner, runner-up and the fourth home all obliging since then. The selection was beaten less than two lengths into third and there was plenty of promise in that effort. Caman Eileen was odds-on favourite for a Roscommon maiden hurdle, but was beaten a fair way into fourth. She is better than that, but needs to bounce back. The 102-rated Ah Fuhgeddaboudit and Gordon Elliott's newcomer Mexican Moonshine, who is a sister to a double winner over flights, are others with claims.

Another chance is given to the Willie Mullins-trained CAMAN EILEEN, who will be tough to beat if recapturing the form she showed when second on her Roscommon hurdle debut. Joueuse Royale made a promising start to her hurdle career when third at Tramore last month and is second choice ahead of Pachmena.

This can go the way of CAMAN EILEEN (nap) who wasn't right at Roscommon last month but there was plenty to like about her previous run

16:35 Ballinrobe Handicap Hurdle 22f  Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

LINDEN ARDEN relished a staying trip when easily winning a beginners' chase here just under three weeks ago. He reverts back to flights and takes a drop in class, so appeals with his confidence boosted. Littlefoot won his maiden hurdle at this track last month. He won by the minimum margin of a nose when upped in trip with cheekpieces fitted. He races off a mark of 104 with Liam McKenna's claim factored in and is a contender. Tell Me This took the honours by five lengths when last seen over a shorter trip at this venue and is respected. Tullyveery Lad, Coastal World and Kilkee Bay are more than capable of landing a blow.

A case can be made for a few of these but LINDEN ARDEN rates the pick of these weights on the back of his impressive chasing success here so gets the vote. Course-scorer Littlefoot heads the list of dangers with Emily In Paris, Tullyveery Lad and Coastal World all in the mix too.

TELL ME THIS has been given a fair mark for handicap debut after her recent course win and this new trip is likely to suit

17:10 Ballinrobe Handicap Hurdle 22f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

NATURAL LOOK made a bright start to life with Ross O'Sullivan when second in Kilbeggan, and the form looked better when the horse that beat her followed up in a valuable handicap hurdle at the Galway Festival. Natural Look won two of her last four races for her former trainer. Henry de Bromhead's Cobra Queen has a Cork handicap hurdle in the book and was second over a similar trip at Downpatrick. This is a new trip for Theflyingbee, but she acquitted herself well in fifth in an auction hurdle final at Punchestown and scored at Bellewstown on her penultimate start. Cobra Queen's stablemate, Ring O Roses, switches back to hurdles with cheekpieces applied and has a chance.

Successful in claiming company at Clonmel in May, NATURAL LOOK shaped well starting out for her new yard when runner-up (12 lengths clear of the third) back in handicap company at Kilbeggan in July. Given another break ahead of this, she looks up to making her mark again. Cobra Queen and Folly Beach are feared most, whilst a return to hurdling may see Ring O Roses in a better light.

Runner-up to the progressive The Wallpark on stable debut at Kilbeggan, NATURAL LOOK looks well treated off her current mark

17:45 Ballinrobe Maiden Chase 23f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

A PENNY A HUNDRED is the one to beat here after a fine run to finish second on her chase debut at Tramore last month. The Jukebox Jury mare showed a good level of ability over timber, finishing runner-up in a Grade 3. She was edged out by stablemate Space Tourist late on on her first outing over the larger obstacles and doesn't have to improve much to score. She's A Fine Wine also ran well on her chase debut when fourth to Arctic Fly and looks like an obvious danger. Ballybawn Belter needs to improve on her two showings over fences but, in against mares now, she could get closer.

This looks a decent chance for A PENNY A HUNDRED to build on her promising chase debut second at Tramore last month. Henry de Bromhead's She's A Fine Wine looks the obvious danger after also making quite an encouraging start over fences at Killarney recently.

They might all struggle to beat A PENNY A HUNDRED, who hails from the powerful Willie Mullins yard

18:15 Ballinrobe Handicap Chase 23f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

JOE'S TURN was a cosy winner at Kilbeggan on his last outing and may be able to follow up, despite a 10lb hike for that success. The Jet Away gelding was making his first start for Mark McNiff then, having run well when placed at the same track previously. He won a couple of point-to-points and is still unexposed over fences. Kadys Dirha chased him home last time and is entitled to be a big player on revised terms. My Friend The Wind has been running well over hurdles and switches back to fences now off a lower mark. He's another who has to come into calculations.

JOE'S TURN confirmed the promise of his chase debut equipped with a tongue strap/stepping back up in trip when running out a comfortable winner at Kilbeggan 21 days ago and a 10 lb hike in the weights is unlikely to prevent another bold showing from this low-mileage 8-y-o. Kadys Dirha was one place behind the selection on that occasion and, along with My Friend The Wind, may well provide chief resistance again.

JOE'S TURN appeals most. He's entirely unexposed and was well-backed ahead of his first chase success last time out

18:50 Ballinrobe Handicap Chase 17f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

JUST JACOB may just have been getting a bit lonely in front at Tramore last time and was good value for his two-and-a-quarter-length win after making all the running. He went up 9lb but if he gets an easy lead again around here, he could take a bit of pegging back. Erigmoor chased him home and is now half a stone better off. He has been knocking on the door and looks like an obvious contender again. Red Ball Of Fire ran a solid race in a beginners chase at Downpatrick last time. He tries handicaps for the first time over the larger obstacles and is on the same mark as his hurdles rating.

ERIGMOOR allowed re-opposing Just Jacob plenty of the rope on the front end when the pair finished 2-1 respectively in a Tramore handicap 26 days ago. Gordon Elliott's charge is 7 lb better off with the latter on this occasion, and with the return to this longer trip in his favour, he earns the vote to reverse the placings here. Itsalonglongroad and Cahirdown Boy are others worth a look.

An easy winner of this race last year, a close market watch is advised for THE EYE OF TULLA who might be targeted at the contest again

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

WINDBENEATHMYWINGS won despite being very free on his debut at Cork back in early July. The Free Eagle gelding travelled well to assert two furlongs from home that day, but got a bit tired late on and held on by a short head from The Last Line. He looks to have a good level of ability if he settles a bit better now. Jerry From Kerry was beaten at a short price on his debut at Roscommon, but was a touch green late on and is open to improvement. He looks like the danger. Richard O'Brien has a good record in bumpers and Spare Chips is a noteworthy newcomer with Finny Maguire booked.

JERRY FROM KERRY was backed into odds on first time up at Roscommon but inexperience got the better of him in the latter stages. That was still a very promising start and he could be hard to beat with improvement on the way. Waiting in the wings will be Cork-winner Windbeneathmywings and At The Wings.

The vote goes to the debutant SPARE CHIPS, who has a likeable pedigree and his yard has a good record in bumpers and at the track
