13:40 Ayr Handicap (Class 5) 8f  Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

TELE RED has been running well without troubling the judge recently, but Karl Burke's charge is now 1lb lower than when landing the corresponding event 12 months ago. He is fancied to regain the winning thread at the expense of Yaaser, who drops in class from a 2lb lower mark, having been below-par over 7f here last time out. Unexposed three-year-old Gracious Leader has scope for further progress and he merits respect on his first start for the George Boughey team.

None of these can be ruled out but last year's victor TELE RED hails from a yard well among the winners and signalled he is ready to strike again when a good York fourth last time out (form working out well). George Boughey's new recruit Gracious Leader is weighted to have a big say and next on the list ahead of Yaaser, Power of Gold and Candonomore.

The well-handicapped Urban Sprawl has shown signs of a revival but he might have to give best to the unexposed GRACIOUS LEADER.

14:15 Ayr Maiden (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Although WEISSMULLER has yet to open his account after four attempts, Archie Watson's gelding sets a lofty standard with an official rating of 92. His rivals need to improve on what they achieved on debut and this looks a gilt-edged opportunity. The main threat might come from Blue Pinatubo, who showed good early pace in a Glorious Goodwood maiden. Invitorio is the pick of the other two.

Archie Watson's WEISSMULLER has some fairly useful form to his name and looks to have been found an excellent opportunity to get off the mark. Invitorio and Blue Pinatubo appeal as the duo to chase home the selection in that order.

His profile is not entirely convincing but Windsor Castle fourth WEISSMULLER ought to get off the mark at this fifth attempt.

14:50 Ayr Handicap (Class 4) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

A chance can be taken on SPIRIT OF ACKLAM, who has been given a bit of time off since disappointing in the London Gold Cup at Newbury in May. The son of Cracksman will find this assignment much more to his liking and with the likelihood of further progress, he can get back on track. Soowaih was narrowly denied at Hamilton recently and he remains of interest from an unchanged mark. Others to note include Pol Roger and Reyaadah Star.

SOOWAIH went down only narrowly at Hamilton last time out and off the same mark here is taken to end a losing run. C&D winner Pol Roger heads the list of dangers with Jewel Maker, Reyaadah Star and Tilsitt also in the picture in this very open contest.

Several have possibilities but recent Hamilton runner-up SOOWAIH gets the vote ahead of Pol Roger and Jewel Maker.

LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content, hiden content

15:25 Ayr Handicap (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

JENNI gained her first career success over C&D on her latest outing and the daughter of Mehmas makes plenty of appeal in her bid to strike again off a 3lb higher mark. Danzan has to enter the reckoning based on his third in the Bronze Cup last time, while others for the shortlist include Red Mirage, who hit the frame at Chester in June, and Clasina.

JENNI looked suited by the 7f trip when gaining her breakthrough victory over C&D last week and is taken to make light of a 3 lb rise in the weights. Former winners Redarna and Abduction both seem set to be on the premises once more and can ensure David O'Meara's filly doesn't have things all her own way.

Narrow preference in a tight handicap is for JENNI, who remains open to improvement over this trip. Danzan is second choice.

16:00 Ayr Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

The drop to 7f is unlikely to be an inconvenience to Golden Valour, with the eight-year-old having been dropped 1lb for his recent fourth here, but the vote goes to SIR GARFIELD. Runner-up at the Western meeting just 12 days ago, that effort saw him bounce back after a rare blip at Catterick and his consistency can help him get his head back in front. John L Sullivan and San Isidro are more than capable of being in the mix too.

SIR GARFIELD can race off the same mark as when a very good recent C&D second so is fanced to gain a deserved victory at the chief expense of C&D scorer Novak. In-form pair San Isidro and John L Sullivan also need factoring into this open handicap.

Top of the list is SIR GARFIELD (nap) who has a striking record in handicaps since July. The main danger could be Alpine Sierra.

16:35 Ayr Handicap (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

A winner at Ripon in July, ACT OF VIOLENCE is still improving based on his second at Redcar a fortnight ago. Tim Easterby's inmate looks capable of scoring off his current figure on that evidence and is taken to confirm latest running with Rousing Encore, who has won off higher marks in the past and can have a say in proceedings once again. Veteran sprinter Muscika has been threatening a return to winning ways and has to be included in calculations.

MUSCIKA is a veteran now, but he confirmed his return to form when edged out in the final strides at Epsom on his most recent outing and is well worth another chance to go one better. Act of Violence seems likely to be on the premises once again, with the quirky Jump The Gun and Rousing Encore others to consider.

Jump The Gun ran a stormer on the unfavoured side in the Bronze Cup and he can be the main danger to WINGED MESSENGER.

Won here in the spring but can't blame the heavy ground for last month's below-par run.

Low-mileage 4yo; fourth when upped to 1m6f in July; could still have a bigger run in him.

17:05 Ayr Handicap (Class 6) 15f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

YURINOV was having only his fifth outing when finishing a creditable fourth over 1m6f at Nottingham in July. That form has worked out well, with the runner-up subsequently scoring three times, and this extra test of stamina will likely prompt further improvement. Musselburgh winner Trojan Sun ran well again when third at Chester and is another with plenty of scope. Ebony Maw will appreciate a return to a faster surface and is just preferred to Glasses Up of the rest.

TROJAN SUN fully confirmed the improvement shown at Musselburgh when third at Chester last time and, with that form proving strong, he's taken to resume winning ways. Yurinov gave the impression at Nottingham that this still longer trip will pose no issue, and he's feared most.

This can go to class-dropper TROJAN SUN, who came good two starts ago and one was of three to pull clear when placed last time.
