LTO Selection:

14:30 Ayr Maiden (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

RED ZONE HERO built on a promising debut effort when filling the runner-up spot at Yarmouth 12 days ago, and the son of Starspangledbanner is fancied to go one better with further improvement on the cards. Milliethemollie has shown ability on both of her starts in Ireland and must enter calculations. Knicks could progress in first-time cheekpieces, while any market support for sole newcomer Jungle Jean would be interesting.

RED ZONE HERO has shaped well in maidens on his first 2 starts, and is going to be very hard to beat in what looks an ordinary field otherwise. Newcomer Jungle Jean is bred very much for speed and she could pose a threat if the market speaks in her favour.

Newmarket challenger RED ZONE HERO went close at Yarmouth on his second start and he's the one to beat today.

LTO Selection:

15:05 Ayr Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

SEE MY BABY JIVE once again appeared to have something in hand when successful over C&D last week and Donald Whillans' mare still looks ahead of the handicapper, off just 2lb higher. Zegos Surprise competes off a 4lb lower figure than for her recent runner-up effort at Ripon and could give the selection most to think about. The unexposed Bloomin Robbery should appreciate this return to 6f and makes each-way appeal.

SEE MY BABY JIVE hasn't looked back since blinkers have been applied and can complete a quickfire C&D 4-timer. Carribean Sunset, third to the selection here 3 weeks ago, is second choice ahead of Katie Scott pair Thaki, the mount of Hollie Doyle, and Elladora.

The thriving mare SEE MY BABY JIVE made it 3-3 in the blinkers (all over C&D) when scoring here last Monday and can land the four-timer

Six-race maiden who has not progressed and was out the back on his handicap/stable debut.
LTO Selection:

15:40 Ayr Handicap (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

In an intriguing contest it may pay to side with NOVAK, who keeps on pulling out more as he rises up the handicap and is looking for his four-timer. The seventh furlong may suit him even better and he can see off Black Friday, who is dropped in class off what looks a favourable mark. Gainsbourg did win last time and is hard to ignore, while American Affair is also of some interest on his better form.

NOVAK has gone from strength-to-strength in recent months, completing a hat-trick (all under this rider) over 6f here in June. With the return to 7f holding no fears he could well be up to completing the 4-timer. Fellow last-time-out winner Gainsbourg is a threat provided the blinkers prove as effective again. The Jim Goldie trained-pair Classy Al and American Affair are others in the mix.

Novak is strongly respected but slight preference is for GAINSBOURG, who cashed in on a reduced mark over 1m here last Monday.

Mark has fallen but he struggled last year and was tailed off on reappearance.
LTO Selection:

16:15 Ayr Handicap (Class 3) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Paddy The Squire has been knocking hard on the door of late and produced his best effort last time when he was narrowly denied over this trip at Pontefract. CHRISZOFF is preferred, though, because he is on a roll at present and winning C&D form might just give him the edge as he goes in search of a fourth straight success. Knockbrex has struggled the last twice but has been highly tried and cannot be given up on yet.

A small field but quite an interesting race. CHRISZOFF is going the right way and can make light of a 6 lb rise for his C&D handicap debut success but fellow 3-y-os Knockbrex and Paddy The Squire are more than capable of giving him something to think about.

The way in which CHRISZOFF (nap) won over C&D on last month's handicap debut suggests a 6lb rise won't stop him.

One to watch in the betting but she's struggled on all three starts this year.
LTO Selection:

16:50 Ayr Handicap (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Camacho Star made it two wins from his last four when recording a three-quarter-length success over 7f at Catterick and is worthy of consideration from a 4lb higher mark. Fifty Sent continues to run well and looks set to have a say in proceedings once more, but preference is for AYR POET. Jim Goldie's charge has been knocking on the door recently and a seventh career victory does not appear to be far away.

CAMACHO STAR had the form of his latest Catterick win boosted when the runner-up won last week and he can make light of a 4 lb rise. Ayr Poet, Chinese Spirit and Fifty Sent head the many possible dangers.

Having been clear with a next-time-out winner when winning at Catterick, CAMACHO STAR may well be ahead of the handicapper.

LTO Selection:

17:25 Ayr Handicap (Class 6) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Bonito Cavalo may have let down favourite-backers more than once this year but he has picked up his share of minor money, including at Musselburgh most recently. His day will surely come soon, but he might have to wait a little longer because Ayr regular SIXCOR was just denied in a blanket finish at Musselburgh last week and can compete off 1lb lower. Ski Angel and Genevieve are out of the handicap, but open to improvement.

SIXCOR signalled his return is imminent when finishing a close-up third in a stronger contest at Musselburgh 6 days ago and a repeat should see Linda Perratt's charge firmly in the mix once more. Bonito Cavalo remains a maiden but is largely holding his form well and he's a danger, along with Ski Angel.

Having shown signs of spark in the visor over 6f here, GENEVIEVE could benefit from the drop back in trip and get off the mark.

About U.K Horse Racing

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK.
