14:00 Ayr (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Given her rider had problems removing the blindfold at Thirsk six days ago, INANNA shaped better than the bare form in third. Jim Goldie's mare makes grand appeal dropping into class 6 company and she looks poised to strike. The biggest threat may emerge from Ramon Di Loria, who warrants respect reverting to 6f. Royal Duke has shaped as if this longer trip could unlock some improvement and the four-year-old completes the shortlist.

C&D winner RAMON DI LORIA (nap) arrives in good form and can capitalise on the drop back in trip. Royal Duke is second choice.

14:30 Ayr (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

BIN AJWAD didn't enjoy the best of passages on his debut fourth at Newcastle earlier this month and compensation could be on the cards. The Magna Grecia colt impressed with how he travelled and this switch to turf shouldn't pose any issues. Tee Aitch Aye offered enough to work with on his fourth-placed opening bid at Musselburgh to suggest that he could play a hand in the finish, along with In A Hurry.

It may pay to take a chance on the debutant COULSEA, whose trainer Craig Lidster has had a few newcomers run well this spring.

15:00 Ayr (Class 5) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Youfillupmysenses showed decent early speed before weakening to finish eighth on her debut at Thirsk 16 days ago and that sharpness should stand her in good stead. However, Tim Easterby's filly is vulnerable to a newcomer and it may be worth chancing SOCIETY OF HONOR. The son of Nando Parrado boasts plenty of speed in his pedigree and any market support would increase confidence. Fellow debutant Mr Nippy is also worth a second look.

Irish challenger NUEVO SLOVO was soundly beaten on his debut at Dundalk but in a warm race and he could be a lot sharper today.

15:30 Ayr (Class 4) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

SPIRIT OF ACKLAM is entitled to be sharper for this after running fresh at Doncaster on his reappearance. He was beaten less than a length when third here back in October behind Can't Stop Now, and the son of Cracksman has a fitness edge over that rival as he looks to turn the tables. Sea Regal won her maiden over 1m2f and is worth noting on her debut for David O'Meara's yard.

This could go to the reappearing CAN'T STOP NOW, who won over C&D on two of his final four outings last term.

16:05 Ayr (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Starliner has been threatening a return to winning ways, but his chance has been compromised by a wide draw. YAASER looks a safer proposition, given he returned to the fray with a fine third at Redcar and Jim Goldie's inmate can make the most of this drop in class. Our Dagger landed a double at Kempton at the start of the year and can feature if carrying over that form to the turf.

Preference is for STARLINER, who was placed in higher-grade company recently and benefits from Tommie Jakes' useful 5lb claim today.

16:40 Ayr (Class 6) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

CITY OF STRANGERS made a mockery of an opening mark of 55 when recording an impressive success at Redcar last Monday and Ivan Furtado's filly might be hard to stop under the penalty. That said, Catterick scorer Barmyblade is only 2lb higher and must be respected along with Another Bungle, who could find improvement pitched into a handicap for the first time.

It's hard to oppose CITY OF STRANGERS, who won a 15-runner handicap very comfortably last week and can overcome a 6lb penalty here.

17:13 Ayr (Class 6) 13f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

FLYING SCOTSMAN kept on well to finish third over 1m4f at Catterick last time out, an effort for which the handicapper dropped him 1lb. The extra furlong looks a real positive for Ben Haslam's charge and he's fancied to come out on top. Agathon travelled powerfully into contention over 2m at Nottingham recently but having weakened approaching the furlong mark, he could benefit from a drop in trip. Others to note include Crystal Guard and Glasses Up.

Ben Haslam's FLYING SCOTSMAN did not have the race run to suit when third at Catterick this month and can be given another chance.
